Chapter 576: Chapter 588 Hurry Up
After 3 p.m., John Brown drove to the airport and picked up three girls: Emily Smith, Lyndia Miller, and Lily Fisher. All three were dressed in casual outfits, clearly just back from a trip, and behind them were a few n, all tall and strong, obviously bodyguards and assistants.
“Sister Emily!” The three girls, upon seeing Lucy Campbell, enthusiastically ca over to give her a warm hug.
“Brother-in-law!” Emily winked at John Brown and opened her arms.
John Brown also smiled and opened his arms, giving Emily a hug. It’s a common gesture abroad, and he’s traveled abroad often, so it felt entirely normal to him.
“And too!” Lyndia Miller and Lily Fisher noticed John Brown and cheerfully hugged him as well.
Lily Fisher, being a bit mischievous, held onto John Brown and didn’t release him imdiately, smiling and saying, “Hey Lucy, your husband’s embrace is quite sothing. Mind if I borrow it for a couple of days?”
Lucy Campbell snapped back, “If you want to borrow, go ahead. I have no objections.”
Lily Fisher imdiately lifted her chin, teasingly tapped John Brown’s chin with her right index finger, and winked, saying, “Hey handso, Lucy already lent you to . You don’t have any objections, do you?”
John Brown laughed and said, “Of course not, it’s my honor to serve Miss Lily Fisher.”
Emily Smith promptly pulled Lily Fisher aside, grabbed John Brown’s arm, and with her head held high, said, “Lily, step aside. I’m the sister-in-law, so if anyone gets to take advantage, it should be first, not you.”
“Hey, hey, you do know he’s your brother-in-law, don’t you? You’re even flirting with him; aren’t you just giving your sister a hard ti?” Lyndia Miller held onto John Brown’s other arm, saying, “I’m Lucy’s best friend, so we ought to share her goodies. Lucy, don’t hog him all to yourself. At worst, I’ll lend you my boyfriend in return.”
The last ti, John Brown wasn’t very familiar with these three girls, but this ti, they acted as if they knew him well, making surprisingly bold jokes, leaving him speechless. How could a woman like Lucy have such mischievous friends? They seed totally different from Lucy’s sophisticated and classy deanor.
Lucy Campbell then said, “Alright, stop ssing around. This is an airport; doing this in public is drawing attention. If you want to muck around, find a place to do it, okay?”
“Hehe, I like what Lucy said. Let’s go, let’s hit the road.”
This ti, John Brown drove a van. Excluding the bodyguards, the girls all sat in the car, and they headed to a beach house. Lucy Campbell had rented this house temporarily, primarily for safety, and also because the girls wouldn’t agree to stay in a hotel.
“Is this your love nest?” Once inside, the girls imdiately looked around curiously. Emily Smith pouted and said, “It’s not that great. Cousin, how can you live in such a house?”
Lucy Campbell laughed, “We only got this for you because we knew you were coming.”
“Where do you usually live then?” Lily Fisher asked suggestively with a wink at Lucy.
Lucy chuckled, “I’m not telling you. I need so peace; if you knew, you’d co over all the ti, and I can’t handle that.”
“Keeping secrets? Are we not good friends to you?” Lily Fisher protested, glaring at John Brown and Lucy.
Lucy laughed lightly, “It’s precisely because you’re good friends that I can’t tell you. I know your nature too well.”
Seeing Lucy would not budge, although Lily and the others were displeased, they didn’t press further. They knew Lucy too well: if she didn’t want to share sothing, she wouldn’t, even if pressured. They also realized Lucy was afraid the three of them would disturb her. If they really knew where she lived, they’d definitely drop by. They didn’t have boyfriends, but since Lucy did, who else would they tease but her?
The villa had two floors, and the bodyguards helped carry the girls’ things upstairs. The three didn’t unpack, imdiately wanting to check out John Brown and Lucy’s room.
John Brown and Lucy took them to the innermost room, which was furnished simply as they’d only moved a few things there temporarily. There were so clothes and new sheets.
“Hey, hey, this is kind of a letdown. It’s too simple here,” Lily Fisher complained, pouting as she sat on the bed, clearly dissatisfied.
Lucy laughed, “You three sleep here; Jas and I might not even sleep here tonight. Why make it so complicated?”
Emily Smith was displeased, “That’s not okay. With us here, how can you two not accompany us? Brother-in-law, you aren’t as thoughtless as my cousin, are you? This is your place; if you don’t host us properly, we won’t let it go.”
John Brown smiled and said, “In our family, it’s always your cousin who calls the shots. I just listen.”
Lucy Campbell rolled her eyes at John Brown and said, “You don’t need to put on a pedestal in front of the sisters. If they want to tease , let them.”
The three people curiously watched the two, and in their minds, even if John Brown was truly Lucy Campbell’s boyfriend, his status and position compared to Lucy Campbell’s were still far behind, so naturally, John Brown should listen to Lucy Campbell in everything. However, seeing Lucy Campbell’s deanor, it didn’t seem like that kid John Brown was like that.
“Brother-in-law, you seem to have quite the tricks to make my sister listen to you,” Emily Smith said with a playful smile, looking at John Brown.
John Brown smiled and said, “What’s there to listen or not listen to? Your cousin is so capable, I’m far behind her, but she’s not very good at taking care of herself, so I just take care of her a bit here.”
“That’s the magic of love, really. I an, John Brown, do you know how many young masters from prestigious families in Capital of SSUP want to get close to our Lucy, but none succeeded? You’ve won the top prize, and we simply can’t understand it.”
John Brown looked at Lucy Campbell with a smile and said, “Maybe it’s just fate.”
Lyndia Miller then stretched and said, “Alright, enough idle chat. After being on the plane for hours, my body feels stiff. Let’s go swimming.”
Emily Smith imdiately chuckled and said, “That’s a good idea! Let’s go swimming.”
Although YODC City doesn’t have many beaches suitable for swimming, there’s still a bit of one. Like the beach in front of this villa, there’s a decent sandy beach. Although the place isn’t big enough for a tourist area, it’s perfectly fine for a private bathing area. A lot of sea sand was specially added here when building this house, spending quite a bit of money, making this private bathing area quite nice.
The three girls wanted to swim, so John Brown and Lucy Campbell naturally had to join them. The three girls went back to their rooms to change into swimsuits, and John Brown imdiately said, “I’ll step out first. You change, and I’ll co back to change.”
Lucy Campbell nodded and said, “Alright, you can go out.”
Just as John Brown was about to leave, Emily Smith ca running out of the room. In such a short ti, she had already changed into a light pink swimsuit. Seeing John Brown coming out, she imdiately said, “Brother-in-law, what are you doing?”

“What do you an what are you doing? Hurry up and change! We can’t wait.” Emily Smith directly pushed John Brown into Lucy Campbell’s room.
Lucy Campbell was in the middle of changing clothes, having just stripped naked, reaching for the swimsuit on the bed, when John Brown and Emily Smith suddenly burst in, startling her.
John Brown caught a glimpse of Lucy Campbell’s naked body and quickly turned his head away.
“You little brat, what are you doing?” Lucy Campbell hurriedly grabbed the swimsuit to cover her chest, but managed to block only the top, leaving the bottom exposed. She quickly turned her body.
“Hehe, my sister’s figure is great,” Emily Smith giggled. “There’s no one else here, just and Brother-in-law. What are you afraid of being seen?”
Hearing Emily Smith’s words, John Brown quickly turned his head back; standing with his back to Lucy Campbell didn’t look like he was her boyfriend. But staring directly at her body was also too embarrassing.
Fortunately, Emily Smith didn’t notice John Brown turning his head earlier. She giggled and said, “Brother-in-law, hurry up and change clothes. Don’t keep us waiting.” Then she ran out, closing the door with a thud.

John Brown replied and turned around, only to see Lucy Campbell, who pursed her lips and blushed, saying, “Hurry up.”
John Brown waited for Lucy Campbell to turn her head, then quickly started taking off his clothes. But as soon as he was done undressing, he felt eyes on him. Turning his head, he saw Lucy Campbell’s reflection in the window glass, secretly watching him.
