Michael Wilson was quite upset these days. The Yawk Family actually rejected his marriage proposal with lody Yoody. Although the Yawk Family had already apologized and the W Region agreed, it was still a huge humiliation for him, Michael Wilson. Who was Michael Wilson? No woman had ever refused him, not even the W Region.
Although he knew about lody Yoody’s good relationship with Jas Brown, he believed that no matter how much lody liked Jas, Jas was just a nobody in comparison to him. The Yawk Family would never allow Jas and lody to be together, so eventually, they would force lody to marry him.
However, the Yawk Family actually rejected the W Region, which ant there must be another reason. When he went to YODC City to investigate, he found out that lody was directly promoted from Mayor to Deputy County Chief. Such a promotion wouldn’t be easy even for their W Region to manage, which ant the Yawk Family had found a more powerful backer.
He reported this matter to the elders of the W Region, who were also a bit startled. Although the big families in City Center had different strengths, they always maintained a balance. If the Yawk Family suddenly found a big backer, they might rise unexpectedly, which wouldn’t be good for the W Region. So, they imdiately sent Michael Wilson to YODC City to investigate.
Michael Wilson had been investigating for the past couple of days, but he couldn’t find out why. The matter was orchestrated by Mayor Mike Storm, who wasn’t part of any major families and was about to retire, so he didn’t care about them. It was impossible for their W Region to control him. So trying to get information from Mike Storm was also impossible.
Today, he ca here to eat, and after finishing his al, he unexpectedly saw lody Yoody flirting with Jas Brown, which instantly infuriated him. The woman he couldn’t get, no one else should be able to get, especially not a nobody like Jas Brown, which was even more intolerable for him.
He walked straight up to Jas Brown and lody Yoody, his face dark as water, and stared at Jas Brown, saying, "Kid, you’re really asking for it."
lody Yoody imdiately stood in front of Jas Brown, giving a cold snort and saying, "Michael Wilson, what do you want?"
Michael Wilson snorted and said, "Kid, don’t think that just because she protects you, you can live peacefully forever. I’m telling you, I will make your life hell."
lody Yoody’s eyes flicked up angrily, "Michael Wilson, are you done yet? Our families have already settled this. Why are you still here bothering us? What’s the point?"
Michael Wilson turned his gaze to lody Yoody, leaned his head forward slightly, causing lody to imdiately step back half a step to distance herself from him.
Michael Wilson’s face grew even angrier, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly, and he said, "Let tell you, any woman I, Michael Wilson, can’t have, no one else should think about getting her. Anyone who tries will et a very unpleasant end."
lody Yoody glared sharply at Michael Wilson, "Michael Wilson, I advise you not to be so self-assured. Do you really think I’m easy to bully?"
"You might not be easy to bully, but him... hehe," Michael Wilson looked at Jas Brown with contempt.
Jas Brown gently pulled lody Yoody aside, smiled faintly, "Do you think I’m easy to bully?"
"No, no, no..." Michael Wilson shook his head, smiling slyly, "You’re not easy to bully. To , you’re nothing at all."
lody Yoody was truly angered. Michael Wilson insulted Jas Brown like that. She raised her hand abruptly to slap Michael Wilson, cursing, "You bastard."
Michael Wilson had trained in so martial arts skills. As he raised his hand to catch lody Yoody’s, his elbow suddenly went numb, and his other hand couldn’t rise fast enough, unable to block lody Yoody’s hand in ti. Her slap landed squarely on his face.
The slap was crisp, its sound reaching quite a distance, causing several people nearby to turn and look.
Michael Wilson was instantly furious. He didn’t have ti to think about why he couldn’t block lody Yoody’s slap earlier. He raised his hand to slap lody back, shouting loudly, "You filthy slut, a worn shoe not even worth giving to for free. Do you really think you’re sothing special?"
But his slap only reached halfway before Jas Brown grabbed his wrist. Michael Wilson imdiately glared furiously at Jas Brown, shouting, "Kid, fuck your grandmother, let go of ."
Jas Brown’s eyes flashed with a cold glare. With his other hand, he suddenly grabbed Michael Wilson by the collar. With a slight exertion of his arm, he lifted Michael Wilson up.
Michael Wilson was suddenly alard, ready to struggle, but Jas Brown had already taken an arrow step to the garbage bin at the hotel’s entrance, pushed Michael Wilson inside, and pressed down on his head and legs. Michael Wilson ended up sitting at the bottom of the bin with his hands, feet, and head sticking out.
The garbage bin wasn’t big, about the size of a bucket, and Michael Wilson looked as if he was forcibly cramd inside, making him fit very tightly. He struggled for a while but couldn’t break free.
"You bastard, let out!" Michael Wilson shouted angrily.
John Brown smiled faintly and said, "Before you think of killing soone else, you better consider being killed yourself."
A waiter from the hotel was walking over with a basin of trash, filled with things like napkins and broken chopsticks. Seeing the situation, he was stunned and didn’t know what to do.
John Brown stretched out his hand and took the basin.
Michael Wilson’s face changed drastically, and he cried out urgently, "You dare!"
lody Yoody was also startled; she really hadn’t expected John Brown to put Michael Wilson in the trash bin. That was already too much, but who would have thought John Brown would then pour the trash over Michael Wilson’s head. It was an enormous insult, not just a matter of offending Michael Wilson, but offending the entire W Region. She quickly shouted to try and stop John Brown.
But John Brown’s hand shook at that mont, and the entire basin of trash fell over Michael Wilson’s head.
"Ugh..." Michael Wilson wanted to dodge, but there was nowhere to hide. He wanted to shout but feared the trash would fall into his mouth; he didn’t dare open his eyes, and could only shield his face with his hands, shaking his head.
John Brown finished pouring the trash and returned the basin to the waiter, who quickly ran off. He was afraid of getting caught in the crossfire.
"Jas, you..." lody Yoody really didn’t know what to say about John Brown at this point; how could this guy still be as impulsive as a teenager?
John Brown smiled faintly, wrapped his arm around lody Yoody’s waist, and got into Alice Brown’s car. Alice imdiately started the car and sped away.
Michael Wilson finally wiped off the dirt from his face and started cursing, "John Brown, lody Yoody, I’ll definitely pay back this humiliation a hundred tis over."
lody Yoody glared angrily at John Brown, saying, "You fool, how can you be so impulsive? Do you know that by dealing with Michael Wilson like that, you’ve essentially offended the entire W Region? W Region won’t swallow this easily and will surely retaliate against you."
John Brown chuckled and said, "Didn’t you hear what he said? He’s ready to kill . Should I still save his face? So people, if you save their face, they’ll think you’re afraid, so it’s better to deal with them directly."
lody Yoody rolled her eyes and said, "It’s one thing for Michael Wilson to co after you, but now you’ve made the entire W Region your enemy. How can you deal with W Region? Even if the Yawk Family puts all their resources into it, I’m afraid they can’t beat W Region, never mind not knowing if we can use all our strength."
John Brown knew lody Yoody’s complaints were to comfort him, so he smiled and said, "Don’t worry, a little W Region can’t really do anything to ."
These were bold words, but lody Yoody suddenly rembered that John Brown was no longer the sa as before. He managed to move her from a Mayor to Deputy County Chief; his influence seed even greater than W Region’s. This realization suddenly excited her; she still didn’t know how powerful John Brown truly was, and this ti she wanted to see how much he’d developed over the years.
"Alright, alright, you’re the man, do as you want, I’ll listen to you."
lody Yoody suddenly changed her attitude, and John Brown smiled at her, saying, "That’s better, trust your man."
"Okay, I trust you. You’re not the young boy I used to protect anymore, so now you protect , and I can enjoy it."
When Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog drove over, they happened to see John Brown put Michael Wilson into the trash bin and were puzzled. But after hearing the conversation between lody Yoody and John Brown, they realized Michael Wilson had considerable power, yet John Brown dared to put him in the trash bin, which was quite domineering. This dominant John Brown was even more appealing to them; this was truly a real man. Being with such a man would make one’s life complete.
After dropping lody Yoody at her building, lody Yoody glared at John Brown, saying, "Your wife told you to co ho early, so I’m not letting you up. Don’t linger elsewhere either, or your wife might bla for taking up your ti, and I won’t cover for you."
Alice Brown and Jennifer Hog’s faces imdiately turned red, and their glances at John Brown changed. lody Yoody could see through it.
