40: Chapter 39 Elevator 40: Chapter 39 Elevator Inside the elevator, apart from Jas, Gina Lopez, and Sunny, there were no other employees from JYPP Region Company.

So naturally, Jas stood with the two won, initially keeping a distance between them.

Even if the elevator were at full capacity, they couldn’t have stood too close since the elevator had a specified weight limit.

Exceeding it would trigger an alarm and prevent the elevator from moving.

However, today was an exception.

Soone unexpectedly brought in two large boxes.

The boxes weren’t heavy, but they were bulky enough to take up the space of four people.

So, the already crowded elevator beca exceptionally cramped.

As the elevator doors closed, Jas found himself pressed against others.

Sunny and Gina Lopez were sticking to the elevator walls, leaving Jas no choice but to lean on one of them.

Naturally, he chose Sunny, since they had shared a one-night fling, making this contact seem inconsequential.

Jas had also shared a bed with Gina, even cuddling together, but he wasn’t as close to her.

Their relationship was purely transactional, and any physical contact with Gina at this mont might set her off.

As soon as he leaned on Sunny, Jas felt her body stiffen, but he had no other choice given the limited space.

Although Sunny knew there was nothing Jas could do, being this close to him involuntarily reminded her of their passionate night together.

She’d had quite a bit to drink that night, but the vigorous activity had sobered her up.

She couldn’t easily forget how strong Jas was and how much pleasure he had brought her.

Thinking about all this made Sunny feel weak all over, and she couldn’t seem to stand on her own, naturally leaning into Jas’s embrace.

Jas, quite aware of Sunny’s reaction, was montarily at a loss for words.

Here she was, insisting he forget about that night and never ntion it again, yet with just a little contact, Sunny was already leaning into his arms.

And her body was so warm, clearly aroused.

It was an elevator, and if she was moved, she could have at least picked a more private place.

Now, not only were they under the watchful eyes of everyone, Ms.

Lopez was also observing them.

If Jas did anything inappropriate, he was sure he’d be thrown out of the company.

At this point, Ms.

Lopez noticed Jas standing behind Sunny and discerned sothing odd about Sunny’s expression, but she didn’t think too deeply about it, instead asking with concern, “Ms.

Green, are you okay?”

Sunny quickly shook her head and replied, “It’s just the elevator starting up.

I think I’m not used to it yet.”

It was a good excuse.

So elevators do move faster, and it’s normal for so people not to feel well, but Ms.

Lopez didn’t think much of it.

However, Jas silently scoffed to himself.

Sunny could really make up excuses.

But really, she shouldn’t lean so close to him.

They had reached the fourth floor, and soone got off.

Before Jas and Sunny could distance themselves, another person got on.

Early in the morning and just starting work, Jas wondered what was going on.

And this person was quite large, especially with a protruding belly that seed like it belonged to a woman who was seven or eight months pregnant.

His entry made the elevator even more crowded.

Sunny wasn’t short and was wearing high heels.

She had long legs that had wrapped tightly around Jas’s waist during their intimate night, making him feel utterly captivated.

Due to Sunny’s long legs, the unfortunate part of Jas happened to nestle between her buttocks, making him feel a little guilty.

This contact wasn’t intentional—it was forced by external circumstances.

If there were no reaction from him, it would an Sunny had no allure whatsoever.

Knowing all too well what was happening, Sunny was first shocked by the contact with that firmness at her back.

Her first instinct was panic—if anyone saw, she would be utterly humiliated.

Her heart raced uncontrollably.

Pretending to adjust her hair, she glanced around and realized no one seed to notice them—not even Ms.

Lopez, whose attention was fixed on the elevator display.

This slightly cald her down, yet internally she furiously cursed Jas.

How could he entertain such disordered thoughts at a ti like this, embarrassing her like this?

Inwardly fuming, Sunny felt a peculiar thrill and a growing desire for Jas to move closer, even recalling their night together, which left her feeling weak.

If not for the crowded space, she might have collapsed.

When the elevator reached the eighth floor, several individuals, including the one with the boxes, got off, making it much less crowded.

Jas hastily stepped back, but Sunny’s body once leaned back toward him.

He quickly reached out to stabilize her, feigning concern, “Ms.

Green, are you okay?”

“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Sunny replied, her face flushed as she straightened up, adding, “I’m really not quite used to this elevator.”

Gina looked at Sunny oddly but didn’t dwell on it much, as she hadn’t experienced anything like this and certainly wouldn’t think it was due to Jas.

When they reached the twelfth floor, Jas nodded at Ms.

Lopez, then quickly stepped out of the elevator, while Sunny noticed that as the mischievous man left, he kept his hands in his pockets, preventing anyone from noticing the bulge in his trousers.

This relieved her.

If anyone had seen Jas looking like he was pitching a tent, they undoubtedly would have speculated about their earlier actions.

Upon reaching the 14th floor, Sunny Nguyen stepped out of the elevator.

As she moved, her body swayed, and she almost fell—her legs were still weak.

Gina Lopez quickly supported her, looking concerned, “Ms.

Green, I think you should rest for a bit today.

Why don’t I have the driver take you to the hospital to get checked out?

Work can wait.”

Sunny quickly responded, “It’s okay, it’s okay, I’ll be fine once the elevator stops.”

After they exited the elevator, Gina was still worried and kept her eyes on Sunny.

Sunny smiled and said, “See, I’m really okay now.

Thank you for your concern, Ms.

Lopez.”

Gina noticed that Sunny was walking normally now and nodded, “However, health is still a priority.

If you need anything, just let know.”

“Alright, I’ll get organized and head to Ms.

Lopez’s office later.”

Sunny went back to her office first and sat in her chair, her cheeks still flushed.

She wondered what was wrong with herself—Jas had taken an advantage, yet she wasn’t angry.

Furthermore, it was Jas who had almost embarrassed himself, so why did she have to worry?

Did she owe him sothing?

“That damn jerk, just you wait, you made almost embarrass myself, I’m not going to let this slide.”

At that mont, Sunny’s feelings toward Jas swung back to anger, and she even thought of ways to retaliate—won’s thoughts are really strange.

Just yesterday, she was very afraid of Jas, but now she wanted revenge.

If Jas knew, he would surely be frustrated.

Jas didn’t head straight to the office but went to the restroom to smoke a cigarette which helped calm him down.

He kept thinking about the thrilling mont earlier.

No wonder so people are perverted enough to beco molesters on public transport; it really felt exhilarating.

Of course, it also required a beautiful woman who was cooperative, and if it were Gina Lopez, then Jas would not have enjoyed such excitent.

But what exactly was Sunny intending?

Perhaps she was considering stirring things up again?

For Jas, that could be worth considering—married won had their allure and ca without responsibilities, which Jas appreciated.

Today, Jas was still getting acquainted with the logistics departnt’s duties.

Sarah had helped him thoroughly, and by half the day, he had a good grasp on the departnt’s functions.

Certainly, he now knew what he should be doing, rather than needing Sarah to handle everything like when he first arrived.

When it was almost ti to leave, a man entered the office, in his forties, slightly overweight, a bit bald, oily-faced.

He walked directly up to Sarah and said, “Sarah, co to my office.” After that, he walked out.

Sarah’s expression turned very grim, and Emily Smith, still in the office, spat out, “That jerk, Little Erin, be careful.”

Sarah stood up slowly and said, “I know, but he’s the deputy director; what can I do?”

Emily humd, “When you go in, don’t stay too close to him, and don’t close the door.

If anything happens, just scream.

People like him only bully the timid; the more you cower, the more he’ll bully you.”

“Okay.” Sarah nodded and then adjusted her clothes, looking like she was heading to her execution.

After Sarah left, Jas Brown whispered, “Ms.

Berk, who was that man just now?”

“He’s Douglas Smith, the deputy director of our logistics departnt—an old pervert,” Emily scornfully said, “He exploits his connections to dominate the office, and he especially targets Little Erin because she’s pretty.”

Jas frowned, “In the office, he wouldn’t dare do anything rash, right?”

Emily said bitterly, “Humph, he wouldn’t dare cause big trouble, but taking little advantages?

That’s trivial to him.

Our company used to be fine, but these jerks have ruined the atmosphere.”

Jas stood up, “Then I’ll go and see, I can’t let Little Erin suffer.”

Emily quickly cautioned with good intentions, “Hey, don’t be reckless.

That guy is notoriously spiteful.

If you offend him, he will definitely trouble you.

At least in the office, he can’t do much to Little Erin, at most so minor harassnt.”

Jas cracked a smile, “Don’t worry, I won’t be reckless.”

Nevertheless, Sarah had been quite helpful to Jas, and he couldn’t just watch her be taken advantage of, especially by a sleazy old pervert.
