224: Chapter 225: Communication 224: Chapter 225: Communication After hanging up Emily Lopez’s call, Jas Brown dialed Gina Lopez’s number.

It barely rang twice before it was answered.

“What’s going on with you?

Why haven’t you been answering my calls?” Gina’s tone was very anxious, tinged with a sense of rebuke.

Jas Brown was used to Gina’s tone and wasn’t angered.

He chuckled and replied, “I ran into so trouble and got detained at the police station, couldn’t answer your calls.”

“Detained at the police station?

What happened to you?” There was a hint of concern in her voice now.

Jas Brown explained, “I left your house today to et my girlfriend for shopping, then stumbled upon a fight.

A friend of mine stepped in to do the right thing, and ended up being taken in by the police.

I went to help and also got detained.”

“Why didn’t you call ?

I could have found soone to bail you out.

I know a few leaders.”

“Heh, that’s not necessary.

We were doing a good deed, not fighting.

It’ll clear up soon enough.”

“That’s good, then.” Gina paused for a mont, then said sowhat unhappily, “Can you stay away from your girlfriend for the next few days?

What if my parents happen to see you two together, what then?”

“Mr.

Lopez, although I’m extending my help, I need to spend ti with my girlfriend.

How should I explain to her?

Should I tell her that I’m pretending to be soone else’s boyfriend?

Did you ever consider my girlfriend’s feelings?”

Gina was at a loss for words.

“Mr.

Lopez, now’s not the ti to discuss this.

Your parents are here pressuring us to get married, how do you propose we deal with this?”

Gina didn’t respond imdiately, which made Jas Brown sowhat anxious.

He said, “Well, say sothing.

What should we do now?”

It was then that Gina finally spoke, “Then let’s get married.”

“What?” Jas Brown’s eyes widened in shock as he exclaid loudly.

“I said let’s get married,” Gina repeated firmly.

“You can’t be serious?”

“You’re aware that my parents just want to see married.

If we don’t get married, they’ll never stop.

They might even refuse to leave.

So only if we get married will they possibly consider leaving.”

“This is marriage, Sister, not playing house.

My parents will want to watch us register for a marriage certificate.”

Gina’s tone was still calm as she said, “If we have to register, let’s register.

I’m not afraid, what are you afraid of?”

“You…

you…” Jas Brown was speechless, startled by Gina’s audacity.

Lisa Smith gave a light chuckle and then said, “This is simple.

We just need to take a couple of photos, give them to soone who makes fake certificates, and get them to issue us a marriage certificate.

Just say we’ve registered.

As for the actual wedding, we don’t have ti now, we’ll discuss it later.”

“Sweating over here, Mr.

Lopez, you really scared .

Nobody does it like you.”

“Am I that terrifying?

That loathso?

Does marrying distress you so much?” Gina shot back a series of probing questions with a clearly displeased tone.

Jas Brown gave a dry laugh and said, “It’s not that you’re at fault, Mr.

Lopez, but as soone with a girlfriend, I can’t abandon her in the end.

If I did, would you still want anything to do with ?

So, to maintain the image I have in your eyes, I have to stay loyal to my girlfriend.”

“Hmph, ‘loyal’, my foot.

Clearly, you have a girlfriend and yet you stayed over with Sister Sunny.” Gina’s disdain was palpable.

Jas Brown suddenly felt exasperated.

How did Gina find out about that?

He didn’t believe Sunny Nguyen would have told her, so Gina must have guessed after seeing them leave together that day.

“Hmph, lost for words now?

You n talk about loyalty to your girlfriends, but behind the scenes, it’s a different story.”

“Yes, yes, I’m just that kind of shaless man, truly annoying to people.”

“Uh-huh, as long as you’re aware of it.”

“So, you should really dislike then.”

“Don’t even think about it.

If your girlfriend can’t control you, just wait until you fall for .

I won’t let such things happen again.”

Jas Brown abruptly ended the call.

He really didn’t understand why Gina Lopez was being so persistent now.

But it wasn’t of much concern to Jas Brown, whether it was Gina Lopez or Emily Lopez.

After all, the one he liked now was Emma Campbell, whom he wished to be with.

No matter how persistent the Lopez sisters were, he wouldn’t leave Emma.

At this mont, Emma erged from the bathroom, her face flush and dabbing her hair with a towel, her natural beauty shining through.

Although she lacked Gina’s grandeur or Emily’s vivacity, this kind of purity was what Jas Brown cherished the most.

“Big Brother Brown, your turn to shower,” said Emma shyly, then quickly turned and hurried into the bedroom.

Jas Brown’s heart stirred, and he quickly entered the bathroom, excited at the thought of soon sharing the bed with Emma.

He cleaned himself thoroughly, and when Jas Brown entered the bedroom, Emma wasn’t lying on her side this ti but was lying flat on the bed.

She watched as Jas Brown approached, her cheeks burning so red they seed ready to bleed.

Jas Brown turned off the bedroom light as he lay down, using the ambient light to get into bed.

He slid his arm beneath Emma’s neck, pulling her into his embrace.

Emma also turned and hugged Jas Brown, her body shaking slightly.

Jas Brown couldn’t help but chuckle, “What’s wrong?

So nervous?”

Emma whispered softly, “I…

I’m not nervous, it’s just…

just…”

“Just what?” Jas Brown looked down at Emma.

Emma, unable to et Jas Brown’s gaze, buried her head in his chest and finally whispered in a barely audible voice, “I’m just afraid…

of not doing well…

of not making Big Brother Brown happy.”

Jas Brown gently stroked Emma’s still slightly damp, smooth hair, speaking softly, “Silly girl, when two people are together, everything should co from the heart.

You don’t need to try so hard just to please .”

Emma gave a soft “mm,” then slowly lifted her head, her lips seeking his of their own accord.

Jas Brown imdiately kissed Emma, but his actions were very gentle.

He sotis feared his actions might be too rough and hurt this innocent girl, always unconsciously being tender with her.

At that mont, Emma hastily let go of Jas Brown’s mouth, turned her head in a flurry, and pushed his hand away, her face flushed as she shyly said, “Big Brother Brown, not today.”

Jas Brown was taken aback before he rembered what Emma had ntioned: that today was her ti of the month.

He withdrew his hand, slightly annoyed, and said, “I got carried away and forgot.”

Emma looked at Jas Brown apologetically and said, “I’m really sorry.”

Jas Brown couldn’t help but laugh and gently tapped Emma’s nose, saying affectionately, “Silly girl, what are you apologizing for?

Isn’t it sothing every woman goes through for a few days each month?”

Jas Brown’s comforting gesture made Emma quite relaxed, and blushing, she said, “But it must be tough for Big Brother Brown.” Having been so intimate with Jas Brown, Emma had already felt his reaction.

In the girls’ dormitory, her roommates were also well-versed in matters like adult films, which were definitely not the exclusive interest of boys.

While girls might not be as obsessively engaged as boys, they would still watch it from ti to ti.

Emma, however, was usually too embarrassed to watch it, and when her roommates wanted to watch, she would sneak away.

But today, in order to be with Jas Brown, she had quickly reviewed over ten minutes of that kind of content on her computer before Jas Brown picked her up, gaining further understanding of the subject.

Jas Brown smiled and said, “I can bear with the discomfort.”

Emma bit her lip and then whispered sothing into Jas Brown’s ear.

This left Jas Brown stunned, followed by an expression of utter elation.
