It was already the afternoon, and the main quest had been delayed for too long.
The ti limit of the main quest was only two months, and if Gu Wenjuan didn’t arrange to have so alone ti with Yu Siqiao at the banquet soon, a failed mission would lead her to an irreparable end.
Mo Shu summoned Ji Nan and whispered, "After dinner, have Gu Wenjuan wait for in the greenhouse."
Ji Nan replied, "Yes."
...
Gu Wenjuan was having her al.
Upon hearing Ji Nan’s words, she imdiately felt a sense of unease.
"Where is the greenhouse?" Gu Wenjuan asked.
Ji Nan said, "I’ll have soone take you there after you finish eating, just continue with your al."
Gu Wenjuan nodded, "Thank you."
Ji Nan said, "You’re welco. I’ll take my leave now."
And soon, Ji Nan was gone.
Gu Wenjuan picked up her cell phone and texted He Yong’er, "Where are you? Princess Mo has asked to see ."
...
He Yong’er received Gu Wenjuan’s ssage and felt a chill in her heart, yet she was overjoyed.
She quickly replied: et in Bathroom No. 07.
He Yong’er promptly stood up and walked towards Bathroom No. 07.
Along the way, she suddenly saw Ji Nan instructing sothing. He Yong’er appeared to pass by unintentionally, and soon after, Ji Nan parted ways with the individual.
The person was not dressed in the Mo Family servant uniform, so they probably weren’t from the Mo Family but rather a hired waiter from outside.
As before, there weren’t enough people in Mo Family Castle to handle a banquet of this size, so for large events, staff would be dispatched from their own hotel.
He Yong’er watched as Ji Nan walked away and quickly followed the waiter, saying, "Hello, I need a word with you, co with ."
The waiter seed troubled, "I have other tasks..."
He Yong’er discreetly handed him a few pink banknotes.
The waiter quickly nodded and followed He Yong’er.
In a less crowded corner, He Yong’er asked, "What did that woman in the suit, who looks like a bodyguard, tell you?"
The waiter hadn’t expected to be asked this, but thought there wasn’t much to keep secret and replied, "To pick up Miss Gu and take her to the greenhouse inside the Mo Family."
"Greenhouse? Which one?" He Yong’er had visited the Mo Family multiple tis and knew that there were several greenhouses.
The waiter replied, "It’s in the garden room at the end of the hallway."
He Yong’er felt intrigued.
There would still be quite a few people going in and out of that greenhouse.
"Just Gu Wenjuan alone?"
The waiter responded, "Yes, but a colleague of mine is also supposed to bring soone else there. It looks like Princess Mo is planning so sort of gathering."
After all, these wealthy young ladies loved to enjoy flower viewing and tea drinking. What a pleasant way it would be to spend their ti chatting over tea in such a setting.
He Yong’er thought for a mont, then slipped a few more banknotes to the waiter, "Who is your colleague supposed to bring?"
The waiter silently accepted the money and said, "It is Princess Mo’s fiance."
He Yong’er now had an idea and smiled, "Thank you," she grinned, "Oh, and get two bottles of red wine and so desserts ready to be delivered there later. Here’s a tip for you."
"Thank you!"
"One last thing, don’t tell that bodyguard that I spoke with you," He Yong’er humd, "Even though I’m Princess Mo’s best friend, she always acts so high and mighty. She must have arranged this lousy place too, which is so annoying. She knows full well I don’t like it there."
The waiter secretly clicked his tongue.
Who would have thought that even among the wealthy, there would be such jealousy and competition between a young lady and her bodyguard.
