The children were having a blast, and with Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi watching by the side, they felt joyful as well. Gradually, the clever couple seed to grasp Mother Su’s intention. Although it disrupted the romance of the two, it created a heartwarming mont for the four of them. A happy family together was the most precious kind of happiness, perhaps lacking in romance, but sufficiently blissful.
"Actually, celebrating together is also quite nice, just like mom said, they are the witnesses of our love. On such a special anniversary, having them with us makes it complete," Qin Jiran said, holding Su Yanyi’s hand, filled with emotion.
"Is that self-consolation?" Although Su Yanyi sowhat reluctantly felt the sa way, she was unwilling to admit it and asked sowhat discontentedly.
"Hehe, how could it be? Even though it’s a bit less romantic, I think you won’t disdain , right, wife?" Qin Jiran embraced Su Yanyi, asking in a very affectionate tone while he nuzzled her forehead.
After pondering for a mont, Su Yanyi replied, "I always feel like your words make it sound as if I also don’t know what romance is."
"Hahaha, Yanyi, you’re getting cuter and cuter..." Qin Jiran laughed heartily. The way Yanyi earnestly fussed over such small matters was truly endearing, and he never tired of seeing it.
Su Yanyi’s gaze flickered, seeming not to like being described as cute, but then she saw how joyfully he was laughing and couldn’t help but retort, "You, on the other hand, are getting less and less cute."
The once timid and easily embarrassed man had changed so much, now even starting to tease her from ti to ti. His cunning seed to be growing by the day.
Qin Jiran was taken aback by such a comnt but then burst into laughter again. Cute and such, were never really applicable to him anyway, so it was quite normal not to be cute.
The two babies, having played for a while, beca hungry, and Kangaroo, who was in charge of logistics, imdiately offered up the prepared formula. The babies ate and played, then fell asleep. Even while sleeping, their little mouths seed to be still moving, which was incredibly cute.
Once the babies had fallen asleep, the photographer wrapped up for the day, conveying Mother Su’s instructions before leaving.
"Chairman Xu told that, after I finish this afternoon, you can send the children back, and the rest of the ti will be your own. Chairman Xu won’t make any further arrangents," the photographer said and then left, as he had to sort out the photos and videos. Today he had really indulged his passion; the family of four in the lens were the most distinctive group of portraits he had shot in recent tis.
Hearing what the photographer said, Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi suddenly felt aimless. It was evidently too late for a trip to the racecourse, and looking at the ti, it was almost dinner.
"I was planning a day out and then a lavish dinner at ho for you. Should we still eat at ho now?" Qin Jiran asked, feeling a bit embarrassed since their plans had been disrupted, leaving him uncertain of what to do.
"Then let’s go back with the kids, and we’ll cook together," Su Yanyi suggested after so thought, preferring Qin Jiran’s cooking over outside food.
"All right, let’s go ho." The family of four then joyously headed ho together. What starts together should end together, and a world for two wasn’t necessarily the most romantic thing after all.
The dinner was prepared by Qin Jiran and Su Yanyi together. Each of them made two dishes; the soup was simred by Qin Jiran, and the dessert was Su Yanyi’s handiwork, along with a fruit platter that both of them prepared. It could truly be said that each contributed half the effort, perfectly intimate and considerate.
