What should I make? Su Yanyi considered making sothing different, rummaged through the fridge and food storage, found that there were all kinds of ingredients, checked the plethora of recipes in the Cooking System, and finally settled on six dishes and one soup to prepare for tonight’s dinner.
After school, Xiao Su Nuo burst into the villa, running and shouting, "atball, Glutinous Rice Ball, brother’s here to see you! Have you two been good?"
Even in the kitchen, Su Yanyi heard Xiao Su Nuo’s call and decided to make two desserts, both of which Xiao Su Nuo loved to eat. Ever since they had the two little babies, it could be said that Xiao Su Nuo reported to the villa every day.
Not long after, Su Yanyi heard pitter-patter sounds. She turned around and saw Xiao Su Nuo peeking in excitedly and cautiously. When he noticed her looking back, he timidly greeted her, "Little auntie is cooking, huh? There will be delicious food again."
"Little foodie," Su Yanyi muttered, but she had already planned portions of the six dishes and soup for Xiao Su Nuo. After all, the little guy ca every day not just to see the babies, but also to mooch als.
"I’m not a little foodie. It’s because little auntie’s husband and little auntie’s cooking skills are too aweso, that’s why I eat so much," Xiao Su Nuo retorted with his cheeks puffed out, his gaze fixed on the pot as if he couldn’t wait to find out if it was sothing he loved to eat.
"Stop looking around. There’s your favorite spare ribs waiting for you. Take this and go play outside," Su Yanyi said as she handed over a plate of cookies that Qin Jiran made to Xiao Su Nuo, ushering him out.
When Qin Jiran returned ho, Su Yanyi had only finished half of the cooking. Qin Jiran had planned to cook, but to his surprise and delight, he saw Yanyi bustling around in an apron.
"Wife, what brought on the mood to cook? Is it a good day?" Qin Jiran curiously asked, also carefully observing Yanyi’s expression, though he couldn’t discern much from it.
"I’m not in a great mood," Su Yanyi said, pouting and deliberately speaking in a muffled tone. She had a complex mix of emotions today, having made her husband’s selfish father faint in her office. She wasn’t sure whether to be happy or depressed about it.
Upon hearing such a response, Qin Jiran was imdiately alard. How could she be in a bad mood? What happened?
"What’s wrong?" Qin Jiran imdiately went over to hug Su Yanyi, enfolding her in his arms and asking in a low voice.
"Qin Zhenyi fainted in my office today," Su Yanyi thought about it and felt it was better to tell Qin Jiran, given the undeniable relationship between Qin Zhenyi and Jiran.
Sotis, the term "kinship" can indeed be very confusing, with that single thread of bloodline making it distinctly different from love and friendship. Without that bond of blood, one’s own life wouldn’t exist.
Qin Jiran was taken aback, hesitated for a mont, unsure of how to react, then finally asked, "Is everything alright?"
"It should be fine, he just got too angry," Su Yanyi said sowhat innocently. Although she was the one who angered him, she hadn’t anticipated such an outco.
"And you? Are you still angry?" Once Yanyi said it was nothing serious, Qin Jiran shifted his focus, showing more concern for Yanyi’s feelings.
"I’m not angry, just a bit down." She was the one who had upset him, so how could she be angry? Of course, when Qin Zhenyi revealed his selfish reasons, she did feel a flash of anger, but there was no need to ntion that.
