"Yes, CEO. What about Eric?"

"He... he dared to do such a thing, so I definitely won’t let him go. Where is he now?" Owen snorted and asked Bruce.

"I locked him in the security room."

"Sure, well done. I’ll deal with him after the press conference." Owen nodded when he heard Bruce’s words.

"Yes, CEO." Bruce nodded when he heard Owen’s words.

"Anita’s coming down soon. Don’t tell her about this later," Owen said, putting the flash drive in his pocket and looking at Bruce.

"Yes, CEO. Don’t worry."

"President Owen, isn’t Miss Anita here today?" Miranda finished comparing her speech with the marketing manager and saw Owen when she ca out of the lounge, so she smiled and said.

"She’ll be down soon," Owen said with a smile when he heard Miranda’s words.

The press conference was held shortly after. Owen went on stage first to give his speech, and then it was ti for the spokesperson, Miranda, to talk about her experience with the product.

"Are you bored?" Owen asked Anita as he ca down to sit beside her after giving the opening speech for the press conference.

"It’s okay. It’s not quite the press conference I expected." Anita listened to Owen’s question and smiled at him.

"Then what did you imagine the press conference to be like?"

"The news conferences I saw on television were very serious, but I think today’s news conference changed my mind," Anita said softly.

Before Owen could say anything, she continued, "I think this news conference is very interesting. You guys decorated the venue in a way that matches the product. Everyone can guess the the of this news conference at a glance. I think it’s very good."

"Is that a complint to your husband? I’ll feel smug," Owen said while listening to Anita.

"I’m praising you. My husband is really great and outstanding." Anita leaned closer to Owen and smiled.

"Yeah." Owen didn’t say anything else as he listened to Anita. He reached for the hand he had already held and kissed it gently.

"I have sothing on after the press conference. Miranda said she hasn’t seen you in a long ti and wants to talk to you. Can you guys wait for in the lounge next door later?" Owen said to Anita when the press conference was almost over.

Anita said nothing and nodded.

"Miss Miranda, Anita said she had a good ti talking to you the last ti you two t. Can you talk to her later when you have ti?" Owen said with a smile as he watched Anita go to the washroom.

"Of course. I’d love to," Miranda said with a smile as well.

"I’ve already asked Bruce to arrange the lounge next door. You guys can go over directly later."

"Sure." Miranda nodded at Owen.

"President, Eric is smashing the door," Bruce whispered in Owen’s ear as he approached.

"Got it." Owen nodded at Bruce’s words.

"Anita, you and Miranda can go to the lounge next door later. Bruce and I will go down to deal with sothing." Owen turned around and walked downstairs with Bruce before Anita could say anything.

"Are the two of them hiding sothing from us?" Miranda said after glancing at their anxious steps.

"It must be about the press conference," Anita whispered when she heard Miranda.

"Well, forget about them. It’s been a long ti since the two of us had a good chat," Miranda said and walked to the lounge with Anita.

"Open the door," Owen said while standing in the security room.

"Yes, CEO. This person seems a little crazy. You have to be careful." Hearing Owen’s words, the security guard nodded and said.

"What’s wrong? You’ve thought it through and are letting out?" Eric snorted when he saw the door to the security room suddenly open.

"What? Eric, you want to get out so badly?" Owen said as soon as he stepped into the security room and looked at Eric, who was slumped on the sofa.

"President Owen? Even you ca?" Eric said as he listened to Owen’s voice and sat up on the sofa.

"I heard you want two million. If I don’t co out, who can give you this two million?"

"That’s true, but President Owen, are you really going to spend two million for that b*tch Anita? Is it worth it?" Eric said in surprise.

He didn’t expect this CEO to really be willing to spend so much money on Anita, so he imdiately felt regret over asking for too little.

"I call the shots on whether it’s worth it. On the other hand, Anita is your ex-girlfriend. Isn’t it a little inappropriate for you to blackmail with the video you secretly took?" Owen said as he tidied his clothes and sat on the only stool that looked clean.
