So it was a joke; it had thought there was truly soone with ulterior motives among its close companions.
At that mont, Daphne slowly opened her eyes, feeling an unprecedented comfort in her body, as if she had always been walking with heavy chains before.

A flash of silver, and Daphne excitedly leaped into David Jones’s arms, eager to share her new skills after advancing.
David Jones smiled slightly, even though he already knew about the effects of Fate Immortality, he still listened intently to Daphne’s explanation.
Every now and then, he would react with looks of surprise and shock, keeping the little creature quite happy.
The only regret for David Jones was that Fate Immortality did not have the effect of Destiny Protection. It did not enhance the luck of those bonded with him so he could enjoy the breakthrough regardless of level barriers.

The Golden Fla Dragon looked at the fire crystal, now significantly less lustrous, with a pained expression in its eyes.

As spatial ripples surfaced, the scenery around David Jones warped and changed, and a Battle Platform reminiscent of an ancient Roman gladiator arena slowly erged.
The Platform was grand in scale, with huge stones stacked to form a broad elliptical area emanating an atmosphere of dignity and solemnity.
The surrounding walls were carved with bas-reliefs of various Beasts fighting to the death, seemingly symbolizing the ferocity of combat.
“Welco to the Trial of Skills!” a voice suddenly echoed.
David Jones looked up to see an animal resembling a mo[mò] Beast with soft fur that matched the color of the earth, distinct facial features, and short, powerful limbs. It was staring intently at him, exuding a chilling aura.

“Species Level”: Legend Emperor
“Grade”: Class VIII Upper-level
“Pet Profile”: One of the Seven Emperors Phantom Beasts and representative of Di’s Constellation. It carries a trace of the Azure Dragon’s bloodline and an immortal rock type bloodline, allowing resonation with the Earth, which makes it invincible in combat.
“Such a domineering aura!” David Jones frowned slightly.
In the face of the intimidating pressure that made every cell tremble with fear, David Jones hadn’t even acted yet when Rainbow had already bravely charged forward to confront it.

David Jones scanned his surroundings and calmly asked, “Where is my opponent?”
A glint of disappointnt flashed in the Earth Leopard’s eyes as it replied, “Currently in the Trial of Skills, there are no others except you. We need soone to pass the Trial of Body and arrive here to comnce the trial.”
“That’s quite troubleso,” David Jones frowned.
“Yes, it’s troubleso indeed, I’d rather have everyone fight it out all at once to determine the victor,” the Earth Leopard nodded in agreent.
“But these are the rules—I cannot defy the orders of Lord Azure Dragon.”
David Jones’ eyes fixed on the Earth Leopard, “What if no one else arrives here?”
“Unfortunately, then you will be unable to proceed with the trial.”
“But what if I defeat you?” David Jones asked.
The Earth Leopard’s movents paused slightly, and the corners of its mouth turned up subtly.
“Challenging an examiner takes courage, comndable. But don’t you think you’re underestimating , the Earth Leopard?”
With those words, the Earth Leopard unleashed a savage killing intent within its body, and its surging energy connected to the earth like an unshakable Great Wall, causing the ground to tremble and collapse.
“If you manage to defeat , naturally you pass the Trial of Skills, but you must be prepared for your Pet’s death.”
The Earth Leopard slowly lifted its forepaw, and a tide of earthy-yellow energy waves burst forth like a hurricane.
The magnitude of the spectacle sweeping through heaven and earth made Rainbow’s eyes reveal a serious look.

Feeling a power completely locking it down, the Earth Leopard’s expression changed slightly, and it imdiately used its skill to connect with the earth, covering its body with a layer of solid Earth Armor.
This Earth Armor could rge with the earth’s power, immune to most physical attacks, and absorb Earth Energy for ceaseless repairs.
“A re Class VII middle-level Flood Dragon couldn’t possibly break through my defense!”
As the dragon claw approached closer, the Earth Leopard’s fur stood on end, and its body even trembled involuntarily, but it remained sowhat skeptical.

The face of the Earth Leopard collided with Rainbow’s dragon claw, and under the impact of the Annihilation power, its once sharply-defined features began to twist, even its nose bridge started to collapse.

As the Earth Leopard’s body plumted down to the center of the Battle Platform, forming a huge chasm, a wave of invisible Annihilation power suddenly burst forth, consuming everything around and unleashing a piercing shock wave.

Rainbow was taken aback.
The opponent seed quite strong; it had even been prepared for a drawn-out battle of three hundred rounds, yet in the end, it couldn’t withstand even one of its claws.
