Nian Shutong genuinely appreciated watching Fu Yunhe in combat, remarkably agile with a wooden spear in his hand.
The spear tip, shaft, and butt all beca weapons in Fu Yunhe’s hands.
At this mont, Fu Yunhe hadn’t used his spiritual power against his opponent, or rather, he didn’t use any attacking moves.
He purely relied on his physical ability, apparently with the aid of spiritual power to scout the environnt and opponent. Although he hadn’t won yet, he was still comfortably in control.
On the other side, Ha Ha, having finished tornting the gorilla, was ready to help Fu Yunhe.
After all, the Commander always said to make clear distinctions between insiders and outsiders.
For Ha Ha, disliking Fu Yunhe was one thing; they were his own people, and outsiders shouldn’t bully him.
"Ha Ha, don’t go!"
Nian Shutong sent a ssage to Ha Ha, continuing, "Xiao He can handle it himself; don’t go over there."
Ha Ha looked up in confusion at Nian Shutong, steadfast as Taishan, but still obediently didn’t go.
He stayed still for a second before turning back to the gorilla.
"Let’s train a bit longer!"
The gorilla, which had already resigned itself to its fate, upon hearing Ha Ha’s words, filled its eyes with despair?
Why again?
"Roar...roar..."
The gorilla pounded its chest, roaring out.
Ha Ha understood; he disagreed and stretched out a paw, placing it on the gorilla’s shoulder, pushing down.
"I know you’ve surrendered, but I have no one else to train with."
"The people in the small wooden house can’t take hits; Ha Ha can’t train with them."
"Are you going to stay? From now on, I’ll train with you."
"Look how tough you are! I’ve trained with you all this ti, and you can still get up. That’s great!"
Ha Ha said a lot, and Nian Shutong above, who was watching the excitent, felt that the gorilla finally gave up struggling, seemingly its eyes becoming dull, devoid of any brightness.
The training gorilla, online again.
Nian Shutong shifted her gaze back to Fu Yunhe. At this point, the battle was nearing its end; of the six beasts, only the Fire Fox could still exchange a few blows with Fu Yunhe.
Nian Shutong watched as Fu Yunhe, with one hand behind his back, gripped it a couple of tis; he was injured.
Yet Fu Yunhe’s fighting spirit seed to grow more intense by the minute, the brightness in his eyes almost lighting up the sun.
He was born for the battlefield.
That was Nian Shutong’s only thought at that mont.
She had stopped Ha Ha because she knew Fu Yunhe needed this battle, needed to win it alone.
He was the Commander, the one tested hundreds and thousands of tis on the battlefield.
Nian Shutong didn’t realize it, but her face bore a smile of admiration, her eyes filled with intense appreciation.
He was Fu Yunhe.
Not Xiao He, not just a handso face, but Fu Yunhe.
"Boom—"
Fu Yunhe repelled the Fire Fox with a spear thrust, and nearby trees shattered and scattered while he stood imperiously, letting the leaves whirl around him.
"It’s over, why is my heartbeat a bit faster?"
Nian Shutong covered her chest, her gaze once again turning to Fu Yunhe below; could he be related?
But why would that be?
Perhaps she also wanted to fight?
Nian Shutong, still confused at the mont, heard another whimper.
"Mr. Nian! Save Qicai!"
"Qicai doesn’t want to fight anymore!"
Interrupted, Nian Shutong looked toward the sky at the two birds, one big, one small.
At that mont, Qicai was shedding several feathers, cascading from the sky.
From so mont onwards, Big Bird had been chasing Qicai, not attacking it but solely plucking Qicai’s feathers.
Feathers fell down, one by one from the sky.
The eyes of a pair of Qicai birds filled with despair.
What kind of fighting style was this? Why pluck their own feathers?
Nian Shutong seed to rember sothing, after all, the reason the Big Bird followed her back to the small wooden house was because it had once been a "Protruding Bird."
"This vindictive ntality is quite strong."
Nian Shutong stood up with a smile on her face and said, "I like it."
"Big Bird! Co back!"
Originally chasing Qicai, the Big Bird heard Nian Shutong’s call and finally gave up on plucking feathers, joyfully flapping its wings and returning to Nian Shutong’s side.
At this ti, Nian Shutong also descended from the sky, with Big Bird on her left and Ha Ha, who had transford back into a Werewolf, on her right. As for Fu Yunhe, it was the first ti he stood a bit far from her.
Nian Shutong first glanced at Fu Yunhe, and her heart understood.
However, she decided to deal with these despondent Fierce Beasts first.
"How about it? Are you convinced?"
A single sentence made Qicai, who had been continuously picking up feathers from the ground, flutter over flapping its wings.
"Mr. Nian, we’ve always been impressed by you, can you let us stay?"
"It’s not impossible."
Nian Shutong was halfway through her sentence when she looked at the anxious Qicai and continued, "To stay, the only requirent is obedience."
"You know Big Bird, right? See how strong it has beco, aren’t you envious?"
Qicai looked up at the proud Big Bird and vigorously nodded its little head.
"Envious! Very envious!"
"That’s good, if you stay, not only will you eat and drink well, but the improvent in strength is not just empty talk. The condition is?"
"Obedience!"
Qicai quickly responded and pointed with one of its wings at the other Fierce Beasts behind it.
"Mr. Nian, we are willing to follow you, we will definitely obey."
Nian Shutong’s Divinity Transformation Stage authority suddenly surged, pressing towards the eight Fierce Beasts.
"Roar—"
"Growl—"
Several animal roars were heard, so had already fallen to the ground, while others trembled, barely managing to stand.
Nian Shutong’s presence was coldly intimidating, her tone threatening.
"Rember, if you stay you must follow the rules. For you, I could take it or leave it; I’m allowing you to stay only because you are Fierce Beasts born and bred on Blue Star, out of a little sympathy."
"If you fail to obey, or do anything to harm Blue Star, then—"
The pressure doubled, like a mountain pressing down on the eight Fierce Beasts facing her.
All eight were crushed, none could stand.
After about five seconds, Nian Shutong withdrew her authority, and eight low-grade Spirit Stones shot out.
"Take these and heal."
"Jing Bai, stay and arrange their accommodations."
Nian Shutong turned and walked over to Fu Yunhe, taking his hand, and said to Big Bird behind her, "Take Ha Ha back."
She herself, holding Fu Yunhe by the wrist, pulled him onto Shadowless and departed from the sky.
The arc in the sky, rising with Shadowless, disappeared from view.
The Fierce Beasts left behind looked at the Spirit Stones before them and then at Qicai.
"Heal up, just be obedient, that was our plan all along."
Qicai, being slightly more intelligent, realized that Nian Shutong was using both intimidation and incentives.
Who could bla them? They had only sought refuge after recognizing her strength, and naturally, they had to go through so tests.
Qicai sat on its own Spirit Stone, enviously watching the Big Bird that had just flown away.
Silly Big Bird, it was just an early follower, but look at its strength now!
Alas, a silly bird has its silly blessings.
