The Soul System in the Apocalypse Chapter 466: Retreat

Olivia looked towards Henry and could not help but feel relieved. Of course, she felt a little embarrassed by the fact that she was not capable of protecting the territory during the ti that he was away, and he had no choice but to co over.

During the previous encounter before she was brought here, she had already realized that Henry was dealing with sothing important, and for that reason, it wasn’t possible for him to co over.

But then, they had not expected that the enemy that they were going to encounter was going to be extrely strong. For that reason, they had actually been defeated in just a single move. Had it not been for the fact that Diana and Storm had managed to reach the next level, they would have definitely been killed by now.

But even after the breakthrough, it was impossible for Diana and Storm to be able to deal with this man. They were capable of holding on, but the mont that the rman decided to deal with them, it was impossible for Diana and Storm to prevent him from succeeding.

It was only with the appearance of Henry that they had managed to survive. As for the ability that Henry had utilized in order to prevent the attack from killing them, she was not sure, but even then, she just believed that Henry had suddenly managed to get another ability.

At this mont, the resolution that she was having in her heart to get even stronger had increased. At this mont, she imdiately began thinking about joining Adam and the others in the dungeon. Since Henry had been able to reach the Platinum rank the mont that he went to the dungeon, it implied that in the dungeon, there were actually platinum rank monsters.

Since that was the case, she was definitely going to make sure that she would not co out of that place unless she had reached the limit of the level of the monsters that the dungeon could support.

She looked towards the building where the rman had already attacked Henry. But despite the fact that the rman had already made his move, Henry did not move at all, and this made her wonder what skill it was that Henry was going to demonstrate.

Of course, she did not believe that Henry who possessed the ability to stop the attack of the rman, was actually not capable of reacting in such a situation. She knew him quite well, and for that reason, it was definitely impossible for him to be weaker than the rman in terms of physical strength. He always balanced his abilities after all.

True to her expectations, the mont that Klaus’s punch was about to land on Henry’s face, Henry raised his hand and easily blocked the attack.

Booom!

Even though Henry had blocked the attack easily, it was not as if the strength that was contained in that attack could be ignored. The building that had already began collapsing was imdiately pulverized due to the shockwave that was created the mont that the two of them collided with each other.

At this mont, the two of them were still connected with each other, with Klaus’s fist still being grabbed by Henry. Henry did not move backwards a single step, but instead, he just stood in the sa position as the building collapsed.

He was not the only one, considering that even Klaus was still standing in the sa position without moving. And the mont that the observers saw that situation, they could not help but widen their eyes in surprise.

Henry and the rman were actually flying in the air without any support. This was the first ti that they were encountering sothing like this, where a creature that did not possess wings could actually stand in the air.

Klaus looked at Henry, and his pupils contracted drastically. The power that was contained in the attack that he had just launched was definitely not sothing that just anybody could block.

In fact, even those humans at the sa level as himself were actually not capable of withstanding that attack. But now, there was actually a human that was capable of blocking the attack so easily. Additionally, looking at the deanor that the man possessed, it was very clear that he had not felt anything the mont that he was attacked.

Henry looked at Klaus calmly. Of course, the strength of the attack that had been launched by Klaus was not sothing that could be ignored. Had it not been for the fact that he had already reached the platinum rank, he would have definitely not been capable of so easily blocking the attack.

But then again, how strong was Henry? Previously, he was actually prevented by the apocalypse itself from reaching level 9 in his warlock profession. If he actually did that, he would definitely be stronger than even the apocalyptic creatures at that particular stage of the apocalypse.

But obviously, looking at Klaus, it was definitely clear that Klaus was not supposed to be in this stage of the apocalypse, but instead, the next stage that had yet to descend.

Of course, Henry was supposed to be stronger than any level 9 diamond rank creature within this whole world during the ti that he reached level 9 of the diamond rank himself. But now, not only had he reached level 9 of the diamond rank, but instead, he had even reached the platinum rank.

Of course, the most important thing here was the fact that Henry was stronger considering that he had already gotten another profession. With three professions at the sa ti, it was definitely impossible for just anybody to be able to defeat him.

Klaus imdiately tried to retreat, but it was then that he realized that he was not capable of doing that at all. The hand that was currently grabbed by Henry was not moving at all, as if it had been grabbed by pincers.

Klaus imdiately increased the strength that he was using to pull his hand out of Henry’s grasp, but no matter how much he tried, he was not capable of doing so.

The thing that actually frightened him the most was the fact that despite all the effort that he was putting in, Henry was not moving at all. Not to ntion about moving, he was not even being shaken by the effort that he was using to pull his hand out despite the two of them floating in the air.

It was at this point that Klaus suddenly realized that the difference in strength between the two of them was not sothing that he could deal with. Imdiately, he began thinking about retreating.

Arrogant and proud he was. But even then, he was not an idiot, and neither was he willing to give his life for nothing. In short, it could be said that he was a coward at the sa ti. The mont that he encountered a situation that he could not handle, he would imdiately retreat.

This was actually the main reason why the mbers of his own race looked down on him. Otherwise, with his strength, he would definitely be holding quite a high position within his family, but even then, due to the opportunities that were not given to him, almost everybody within his family was stronger than him.

The mont that he realized that he was supposed to retreat, Klaus imdiately decided to use everything that he had in order to get out of here.

The first thought that ca into his mind was to utilize the wave down there, to attack the territory so that Henry would go ahead and prevent the wave from destroying the territory, while he took the chance to run away.

But thinking about Storm and Diana who had already begun recovering, he understood that it was definitely impossible for the wave to be able to deal with the territory with the presence of the two of them down there. Additionally, with the power level that Henry possessed, he could actually deal with the wave so easily.

But even then, he was not willing to allow himself to be subdued by a human. He might be forced to retreat by a human, but it was definitely impossible for him to allow himself to be subdued. This human was so mysterious, he could not find any information about him, and neither did he know the limit of his strength.

So without hesitation, the hand that was being grabbed by Henry suddenly began glowing with a blue hue. At the sa ti, his green eyes began gaining a shade of red.

The mont that Henry noticed that Klaus was making his move, he also decided to make his move. Of course, he did not know what it was that this guy was trying to do considering that he did not know the skills that he possessed, but he was definitely not going to allow him to succeed.

Without warning, he pulled Klaus in. Klaus had not expected that Henry was going to pull him in, and for that reason, he was not prepared. Although he reacted, it was quite late, and even with his strength, he was not capable of resisting the tug that Henry had applied.

The mont that he was pulled in, Henry used his free right hand to attack. Of course, he did not use the fire elent, but instead, he used his fist to attack.

Bang!

Henry’s fist connected squarely with Klaus’ head. Klaus did not have a chance of reacting at all considering that the speed at which Henry was moving was beyond him.

The mont that Henry’s punch landed on his head, he felt dizzy. The power of the punch was sothing he had only experienced when fighting against his older siblings who were stronger than him.

Before he could even regain his bearing, another punch landed on his chest, sending him crashing towards the ground.
