"Brother, is he your brother?"

With her mouth full of at, Holly asked indistinctly.

Sean Grant’s change of expression was surprisingly quick, and Holly could see it clearly.

"Yes, that’s right. Eat slowly."

Leo Grant was mostly flipping the at slices, placing the cooked ones into Holly’s bowl; he barely ate anything himself.

Watching the young girl with her cheeks puffed full, he slightly curled his lips, feeling rather pleased.

Truly a little glutton.

"I think he’s really scary."

Holly blinked, slowly speaking.

"Hmm?"

Leo looked at Holly.

"He changes his face so quickly, like he’s two different people. Holly is scared."

Holly slowly spoke, stating her fear.

"Don’t be afraid."

Leo gently rubbed Holly’s head, slightly curling his lips as he spoke.

The young girl’s ability to observe was quite detailed, able to perceive Sean Grant’s expression changes.

Leo wasn’t a fool; he saw Sean with Rosalie Jennings and knew this brother wasn’t so "innocent".

He never fully trusted Sean; he just hoped they could continue being good brothers.

After Holly ate her fill, she rubbed her belly and walked out of the barbecue restaurant. Leo went to get the car, and Holly waited for him at the door.

"I want to know your intentions."

Rosalie Jennings, perhaps never having gone far, walked over in her high heels beside Holly, slowly asking.

Rosalie was already taller than Holly, and with her high heels, she looked down at Holly with a sort of superiority.

"I’ve said it before, Leo’s under my protection; you can’t touch him."

Holly slightly curled her lips into a cold smile, crossing her arms and looking down, her voice icy.

"Unless he trusts you, otherwise you won’t get any evidence from ."

Holly slowly spoke, her voice particularly aloof.

Yes, Rosalie couldn’t get any evidence from her because she was Holly, and she wouldn’t allow it.

Her identity and her intentions, Leo would eventually know, but she didn’t want him to find out from others.

Because sotis, the nature of it is really different.

"Holly."

Rosalie called Holly’s na through gritted teeth.

She hated this suddenly appearing Holly.

"I’m leaving first, feel free."

When Leo drove the car over, Holly slightly curled her lips, said to Rosalie, and then walked towards Leo.

Rosalie watched Holly leave, and she could only grit her teeth but do nothing because Leo wouldn’t believe her.

"Young lady, what did she say to you?"

Seeing Rosalie and Holly standing together, Leo had clearly seen.

Holly opened the passenger seat’s door. Leo helped her buckle the seatbelt and slowly asked.

Rosalie wasn’t a kind person, so there couldn’t be any good words exchanged with the young lady.

"The lady was a bit fierce."

Holly seed like a frightened little rabbit, lightly biting her lip, her voice small as if truly scared.

"Stay away from the lady in the future, okay?"

Leo didn’t say much more, gently rubbing Holly’s head, his voice equally soft.

Holly nodded.

——

When Holly and Leo returned to the villa, Sean Grant was already sitting in the living room watching TV, looking completely at ease as if he were at ho.

"Brother, you’re back."

Upon hearing the door open, Sean quickly ca over, looking at Leo with a face full of joy.

"Mrs. Hayes’ cooking is as delicious as ever."

Sean complinted. Mrs. Hayes had taken care of Leo since childhood and had followed him from Arkenfall, so Sean was quite familiar with her as well.

When Sean ca, Mrs. Hayes warmly cooked him several ho dishes, which he ate.

The flavors were indeed very good.

"Yes, Mrs. Hayes’ cooking skills have always been excellent."

Leo nodded, acknowledging the deliciousness of Mrs. Hayes’ cooking.

Holly timidly hid behind Leo, looking fearfully at Sean, evidently scared.

"Brother, does the young lady live with you?"

Seeing the girl behind Leo, Sean was clearly taken aback. It was unusual for Leo to bring a young girl ho.

He knew Leo had dated Rosalie Jennings and had interacted with her; he knew they had been together for a year without ever kissing, rarely even holding hands, let alone spending the night at Leo’s ho.

"Yes, her ho is nearby."

Leo nodded.

"Holly, can you go to your room and sleep first, okay?"

Leo turned, slightly crouching to look at Holly, speaking in a particularly gentle voice.

The girl was afraid of strangers, and she had said before that she found Leo scary, so she must be terrified now.

"But, brother..."

Holly lightly bit her lip, glancing fearfully at Sean, her eyes evasive.

"No ’buts’, be a good girl, okay?"

Leo gently ruffled Holly’s hair, softly coaxing her.

If she didn’t go upstairs, she would only remain scared here; she might as well go to her room to sleep and feel more at ease.

"Okay, then Holly will go to sleep, and brother should rest early too."

Holly looked over in Sean’s direction, then bit her lip lightly and slowly walked upstairs.

The girl’s steps weren’t fast, giving off a stealthy, careful vibe.

Watching the girl return to her room, Leo then turned his gaze back, "If I hadn’t seen you, I suppose you wouldn’t have shown up here."

Leo spoke directly and frankly; he knew his brother Sean well. If Sean had a clear purpose, he would have inford Leo before coming to Bexley.

Not having told him beforehand only proved that Sean never intended to co here, rely forced by the circumstance of Leo catching sight of him.

"Brother, what are you saying? I just wanted to give you a surprise, popping up out of the blue like that."

Sean blinked and shook his head, an earnest look on his face as if he truly ant it.

"Hmm."

Leo nodded.

"Sean, do you think we’ll be good brothers for a lifeti?"

Leo looked at Sean, suddenly asking this question.

He always thought they would be, but perhaps sotis it was just his own assumption.

Sean was visibly startled, looking up at Leo, "Yes."
