When the two arrived at the barbecue restaurant, there weren’t many people inside, just a few scattered here and there.
Holly Sawyer and Leo Grant found a place to sit down. They placed their order on the phone and waited for the waiter to bring the food to their table.
Leo Grant was looking down at his phone, his expression sowhat gloomy, constantly replying to ssages. Holly had no idea what Leo was responding to.
"Brother, we can set aside unhappy things; the most important thing right now is to be happy."
Holly watched Leo while resting her chin on her hand and spoke slowly, pouting as she looked at Leo.
Leo was clearly facing so issue, Holly thought to herself.
The waiter quickly served the dishes they ordered one by one.
"Young lady, just focus on eating."
When Holly tried to grab so at to grill, Leo stopped her and said gently.
He could handle these things; she just needed to focus on eating.
"Huh?"
The young lady was obviously puzzled for a mont, staring wide-eyed at Leo, seemingly unable to react.
"These things are for the brother to handle; the sister just needs to eat. A brother should protect his sister and treat her well, understand?"
Leo reached out and gently ruffled Holly’s hair, his voice tender.
The young lady just needed to focus on eating, while grilling the at was his responsibility.
"Mmm, you’re the best, brother."
Holly’s eyes sparkled with a hint of joy as she seriously watched Leo grill the at.
Well, she wasn’t actually looking at Leo, but rather at the pieces of at he kept flipping; her eyes were full of desire for the at.
Leo placed the grilled at in Holly’s bowl, and she eagerly sprinkled chili powder on it before starting to eat. Her little mouth kept munching, wearing an expression of enjoynt.
"Little glutton."
Watching Holly eat with such an appetite, Leo chuckled lightly.
The young lady eating looked very much like a hamster, exceptionally cute.
"Pleasant cooperation."
This barbecue restaurant also had private rooms, usually chosen by people discussing business. Holly and Leo did not opt for a private room.
A man and a woman walked out of one such private room, the woman’s eyes full of happiness, her tone incredibly appropriate as she extended her right hand.
"Pleasant cooperation."
The man wore a proper suit, exuding an air of professionalism. His voice was slightly cold as he extended his right hand to shake hands with the woman.
"Let’s try to et less in the future."
After Sean Grant shook hands with Rosalie Jennings, he wiped his fingers with a wet wipe and spoke softly, a slight smile on his lips.
"Okay."
Rosalie Jennings noted Sean Grant’s actions and felt a bit awkward but said nothing.
The feeling of being sowhat disliked crept in.
From Holly and Leo’s angle, they clearly saw the interaction between Sean Grant and Rosalie Jennings.
Rosalie Jennings and Sean Grant know each other?
"Sean."
Leo stood up and took a few steps toward Sean, his voice slightly cold.
Holly watched Leo walk over, a smile slowly forming on her lips.
Eating barbecue wasn’t a coincidence; she just wanted to create an opportunity for Leo and Sean to et. Sean’s arrival in Bexley was quiet, under Leo’s radar.
Holly’s intelligence team happened to learn about this.
"Brother..."
Sean turned around with a stunned expression, visibly shocked upon seeing Leo.
eting Leo was sothing he hadn’t anticipated.
Rosalie Jennings’ face changed suddenly, and she panicked for a mont.
Why did she run into Leo? It shouldn’t be.
She understood Leo’s habits, knowing he rarely ate barbecue and seldom dined out, primarily eating the als prepared by Mrs. Hayes.
Her gaze landed on Holly not far from Leo; imdiately, Rosalie understood; it was Holly.
"What are you doing in Bexley?"
Leo’s expression wasn’t good, nor was his voice.
"Brother, what a coincidence! I just arrived today and was planning to visit you later to surprise you. Didn’t expect to bump into you."
Sean’s expression shifted from shock to excitent, looking at Leo with a happy face.
Quite like a joyful younger brother eting his elder brother, he completely changed his deanor.
Cold as ice in front of Rosalie Jennings, sunny and cheerful in front of Leo.
"Oh, this is Rosalie Jennings, Mr. Jennings’ daughter. We have a collaboration; he sent his daughter to discuss it with ."
Before Leo could speak, Sean hurriedly explained.
Sean had his own business, not very successful, but decent enough.
"Next ti you’re coming, let know in advance; I’m your brother, I should pick you up."
Leo’s gaze rested on Rosalie for a while, then moved away. He spoke slowly, his voice a bit cold, showing no signs of suspicion.
"Hmm, got it."
Sean replied.
Rosalie stood aside, rubbing her hands, her eyes fixed directly on Leo.
If only this man were hers, it would be so wonderful.
Rosalie always considered Leo clever, but now realized he wasn’t that smart, having fallen into his own brother’s trap, yet unaware.
"Well then, Mr. Grant, I’ll be going now."
Rosalie echoed Sean’s words.
"Goodbye, Leo."
Before leaving, she greeted Leo.
"I know it’s you."
As she passed by Holly, Rosalie lowered her voice.
She knew it was Holly, who seed to know many things, but now Rosalie understood, no one would believe her.
A pure appearance is excellent for deceiving people; Holly’s looks easily confounded others.
Holly gently curled her lips without speaking.
Rosalie wasn’t foolish.
"Brother, who is this?"
Sean’s expression froze upon seeing Holly, surprised by the presence of such a young girl beside Leo, a girl who appeared soft and cute.
"This is Holly Sawyer," Leo said, then introduced Sean, "This is my brother, Sean Grant."
Holly blinked, staying far away, her eyes unblinkingly fixed on Sean like a frightened little rabbit.
"Holly is timid; you can head to my place first, and I’ll return after I’ve eaten."
Seeing the young lady’s shy deanor, Leo turned to Sean and suggested.
The young lady couldn’t relax around strangers; Sean’s presence made her slightly uncomfortable.
"Okay, I’ll head over first."
Sean nodded, said goodbye to Leo, and left.
In the five years Leo spent in Bexley, Sean visited him several tis and knew where Leo lived, making it quite easy for him to navigate.
"Now that he’s gone, don’t feel awkward, little lady."
Once Sean left, Leo smiled at the young girl.
She really was quite adorable.
