Chapter 471: Chapter 80: The Return and the Storm

Capital, Chuanxing City.

The streets were bustling with activity, with flying devices swooping through the air and nurous chanical beings moving through the streets and alleys.

Screens on the streets played different ssages from various dia outlets.

“According to the latest news, Lancelot Star is demanding accurate positioning from Byron Star; however, the Federation Governnt strongly opposes this request, with Lancelot Star joining forces with other planets to pressure the Federation Governnt.”

“Relations between the Federation Governnt and the various alien races continue to deteriorate, and the Federation is facing a diplomatic crisis.”

One ssage after another was conveyed by the dia, and the people of Chuanxing City had long been accustod to it. Many cursed the shalessness of the aliens and also hated the incompetence of the Federation Governnt.

Just then, countless screens on the street switched off at the sa ti, so even cutting the news off in the middle of broadcast.

Imdiately after, a news reporter looked at the screen and said, “We break now for an important piece of news. According to the latest information, Chuanxing City’s Transcendent Competition champion, recipient of the Federation’s Purple Gold dal, and Divine Sword Bureau Transcendent Xu Mo—he’s back.”

At that mont, countless people on the streets paused, stopped their busy activities, and looked at the screens in unison. At first, there was so skepticism, but then…

Screens everywhere started scrolling news items, but at this mont, all switched to the sa ssage.

The ssage was consistent.

Xu Mo was back.

The streets of Chuanxing City went quiet for a mont, then erupted in deafening shouts. Like an earthquake, many working in office buildings felt a strong shaking; they were shocked, wondering what had happened?

Soon, their Communicators received news alerts, and in the next mont, thunderous cheers resounded from building to building.

Xu Mo had miraculously returned alive.

This was a miracle.

Over a month ago, the Federation had already announced Xu Mo’s death. His failure to return with the main force ant he had been forgotten in the Deep Sea, but now, he had returned.

How did he manage to do it?

What had Xu Mo experienced in the Deep Sea?

Before the announcent was made, news of Xu Mo’s return had already spread among the major powers. A Super Energy Body appeared in Coastal City, Divine Sword Bureau’s fighters went to pick him up and stopped at the coast; such news could not be concealed.

In the Lancelot Star leased area, inside a building containing a council hall, many Lancelot Star People were deliberating.

“Xu Mo, eighteen years old, from Byron Star, won the Transcendents’ Competition by killing Robert and then in a duel, killed the Star Lord Knight Order mber Amanda. He entered the Divine Sword Bureau for cultivation, was awarded the Purple Gold dal by the Byron Star Federation Governnt, and then left with the Divine Sword Bureau for the Deep Sea.”

“After entering the Deep Sea, he boarded a Warship; Akas also went in and died inside. Now, Xu Mo has returned alive from the Deep Sea, accompanied by Divine Sword Bureau’s Ye Xi.”

One person stood at the forefront, addressing the Lancelot Star People below, “What are your thoughts?”

“Xu Mo stayed in the Deep Sea for over forty days and sohow he didn’t die; he must have entered inside the Warship,” one person said.

“I was there at the ti, beneath the Deep Sea whirlpool. The Energy Storm was strong; no one could have entered the Warship. How did he survive?” a powerful mber of the Star Lord Knight Order wondered aloud.

“He might have discovered so secrets related to the Super Energy Body. Moreover, since he could return, is it possible he brought sothing back?” another speculated.

“Do you all have any thoughts?” the leader surveyed the crowd, asking.

“Take him down!” soone coldly said.

“Join forces with all the major planets allied on Byron Star, demand that Byron turn him over,” another person stated, as everyone nodded in agreent.

Xu Mo was now not only involved in a grudge with Lancelot but also implicated in the secrets of the Deep Sea Battleship; they had to seize him.

Soon, Lancelot Star and several other Alien Races released a joint statent. In the recent Deep Sea operation, their planets had lost Transcendents, and they suspected Xu Mo of controlling the Warship and being implicated in the death of their Transcendents who fell in the Deep Sea; they demanded that the Star Federation Governnt hand Xu Mo over for trial.

This was an excuse they fabricated at will; in fact, they did not believe Xu Mo controlled the Warship; they just thought he had discovered so of the Warship’s secrets. Nevertheless, this concocted excuse, at least in the first half, was indeed correct…

As soon as the news spread, Chuanxing City exploded. Countless citizens spontaneously took to the streets to protest, demanding that these trouble-making Alien Races be driven out of Byron Star.

The genius of Byron Star had just returned alive and had not even had ti to rest. No sooner had the news been announced than these Alien Races imdiately issued a joint statent, demanding the Federation hand over Xu Mo.

The fury of the citizens of Chuanxing City was imaginable; it was too much to bear.

The rented areas where the Lancelot Star and the joint statent issuing Alien Races were located were blocked by the public, demanding they roll back to their own planets.

In response, Lancelot Star also made a strong statent, deploying ard forces within the leased territories, declaring that if anyone invaded the leased areas, Lancelot Star would open fire.

This declaration and the public’s reaction made the already worsening diplomatic relations even more precarious, as if accidents could happen at any mont.

Upon receiving the news, the Chuanxing City Governnt imdiately dispatched ard forces to disperse the crowds.

Mayor Liu Feng arrived at the scene in full gear, standing atop an armored vehicle, calling for the public to evacuate.
