The crimson moon hung above the ruined town, and Kael sat silently in his stone throne while sponging all the information from the story.

It started to make sense why they believed so heavily in the reincarnation of the Lord of the Realm Between, and it also seed like being faceless was sothing that only he was able to do.

Thus, it made sense for them to get the misunderstanding that Kael was the Lord of the Realm Between.

'Well, if I really am the Lord of the Realm Between, I wouldn't even know it, but by the sounds of it, he was born and raised in the Realm Between.

'I am Earthling, so could it really be that he would be reincarnated in a completely other world? I think that is very unlikely.

'Also, by the sound of it, the Lord of the Realm Between died eighteen years ago, and since I am eighteen years old, it would match.

'However, it shouldn't be confird that Lord of the Realm Between would get reincarnated imdiately after dying.

'Who knows, maybe he hasn't even reincarnated just yet!'

Kael thought to himself and then rembered another part of the story and asked everyone around the stone table.

"You ntioned a human that was with the Wretched One and beca one of the Fingers? Does that an…"

"Yes, there is a traitor among humanity. We've brought this information over to our Gods, and Goddesses, but they're unable to find out who it is.

"All we know is that the World Boss, who goes by the na of Wrathful Patience, is the traitor of humanity."

lia said.

"Another question: can you tell more about the Realm Between and where I am currently?"

Kael asked while rolling the mory crystal in his hand and then saw as lia brought out a piece of paper and a pen.

She put the paper down on the mirror and started drawing.

"We're in a place called Shattered Peninsula, located in the middle of the Realm Between, and it is arguably one of the most dangerous places in the world."

She said and drew a large circle in the middle of the paper—then she started to scribble around the edges of the circle—it was made to represent the fog of the Shattered Peninsula.

"The fog is everywhere in the Shattered Peninsula. All kinds of ancient dangers lurk within its depths, but luckily, we're right in the middle of the Shattered Peninsula.

"The fog doesn't quite reach this town, so this place is arguably the safest place in the entire Shattered Peninsula.

"We once tried traversing through the fog, but we only made ten minutes until we discovered sothing that forced us to return."

lia said.

Then, she started drawing so kind of buildings outside the Shattered Peninsula—she made those drawings look like large cities—and then finished.

"Outside the Shattered Peninsula, the place called Sefirah is filled with massive cities, and that's where the Rav'akari, the Wretched One, and Her Ten Fingers live.

"Luckily, the fog is even dangerous to them, so we haven't had to encounter any of them yet."

She said, and then started to draw one last thing—the other half of the paper she filled with waves of the ocean—and it was done.

"And on the other side of the Shattered Peninsula, where the other border ends, there is a region called Myst Sea.

"It's a fog-shrouded sea, but nobody knows much about that place, only that no one has returned from there.

"Shipwrecks litter the coastline, and nobody really knows what lies behind Myst Sea. Whether there is more land or sothing else, we just don't know."

lia said.

Kael nodded thoughtfully, looked at the paper, and engraved its contents on his mind, but as it looked now, he wasn't ever going to take a step inside that fog.

He was completely fine being in this ruined town if it ant safe, but he was already feeling the desire to return back to the School of Divinity and Mysticism.

"In that graveyard, you must've seen the gateway. It is one of the many gateways that allow us to return back to Whitesky.

"Rav'akari also has their own share of gateways back in Sefirah, which they use to go to Whitesky.

"Back in the days, those gateways were completely sealed by the Lord of the Realm Between's powers, but sohow, Rav'akari managed to break those seals.

"And thus, they managed to co to the Realm Between and took it under their control. Those gateways are located all around Whitesky, and Chainkeepers, who are powerful Blessed Ones, are protectors of those gateways to make sure that no Rav'akari cos through them.

"However, of course, they cannot protect all of the gateways, as so are completely in Rav'akari control, so there is still a way for them to enter Whitesky.

"So gateways are located right inside one of the main cities of humans, and those are the most important ones to keep control of.

"Luckily, Chainkeepers are stationed there at all tis to ensure no Rav'akari forces slip through unnoticed.

"The safety of Whitesky depends on their vigilance and dedication."

Alec said.

Kael nodded, and then looked at the mory crystal in his hand—so did everyone else—and now that his questions were asked, it was ti to activate the crystal and delve into the mories it contained.

With his other hand, he grabbed the two other mory crystals and stuffed them inside the compartnt before closing it.

"Why did you do that?"

lia asked curiously.

"I have already experienced when new knowledge is forcefully added to your mind. It hurts like hell, and I don't think I can handle more than one crystal's worth of knowledge today."

Kael said, and to others, it made good sense as they have all experienced it, and it hurt like hell, and following that, they often had lengthy headaches.

However, Kael had one reason to just take one mory crystal.

When the real Lord of the Realm Between ca knocking, maybe he had enough kindness in his heart to forgive him for only taking one mory crystal instead of all three.

Thus, after taking this mory crystal, he wasn't planning to return back to the Realm Between anyti soon.

However, he also didn't want to leave this place without gaining sothing. Thus, he at least wanted so knowledge that could help him in the future.

Thus, without ado, he pressed the mory crystal against his forehead, and head-splitting pain resurfaced that threatened to overwhelm him.

"Aaaaaargh!"
