Feng Yi rubbed his numbed arm that was tied up, gritting his teeth as he looked at Liao Tingxiao sitting on the sofa: "If you dare to touch my little sister-in-law, I’ll blow this place up."
Liao Tingxiao shrugged indifferently, a contemptuous smile playing on his lips: "I’m waiting for Lu Jinghan to co and find personally."
Feng Yi knew now wasn’t the ti to confront Liao Tingxiao head-on. They were all injured and unard. He could only suppress the anger in his heart, leave with his n, and plan further.
After seeing Feng Yi and his group leave, Han Xi felt a bit relieved. The wound on her back hurt a lot; she had to rest well now and couldn’t let Liao Tingxiao notice any flaws later.
Fu Bin had also boarded another plane with his people. He had to ensure Han Xi’s safety, otherwise he couldn’t face Lu Jinghan.
It was hard to tell how much ti had passed, but by the ti the plane landed at an overseas airport, it was already noon the next day.
Han Xi got off the plane, looking slightly better than the previous night. Seeing Liao Tingxiao walking towards her, her hands at her sides clenched involuntarily.
"Xiao Xi, I’ve had soone prepare lunch for you, hop in the car," Liao Tingxiao said as he stood beside Han Xi, a smile in his eyes.
Han Xi glanced at Liao Tingxiao with cool eyes and spoke with a cold smile: "Thank you, Mr. Liao, I’m indeed hungry."
The two of them got into the car and sat in the back seat, and Han Xi’s phone had already been taken away before they got in.
"Xiao Xi, you don’t look too well, are you feeling uncomfortable anywhere?"
Liao Tingxiao asked with concern, worried that Han Xi might be ill or suffering from acclimatization.
"I was scared by you yesterday and still haven’t recovered."
Han Xi tried to maintain an appearance of calm, her pale face showing obvious annoyance.
"I’m really sorry you had to see such a bloody scene. I hope you can forget that mory and get to know anew."
"That’s not necessary. I’m not close to you."
Han Xi didn’t spare him even a glance, only hoping that Fu Bin’s plane would land soon and rush to rescue her.
Liao Tingxiao wasn’t angry, lightly smiling at Han Xi, instructing the driver to return to the villa.
......
Lu Jinghan’s plane landed two hours before Han Xi’s. He had already t up with Feng Yi and the others, and knew that Han Xi agreed to Liao Tingxiao’s terms to save soone.
Lu Jinghan was on the verge of murder; he stood before the floor-to-ceiling window, his bloodthirsty eyes shining with a fierce light amid the smoke.
Feng Yi sat on the sofa, irritably tugging at his collar, the doctor having just treated their wounds.
"That Liao Tingxiao is damn cunning; it’s all my fault for putting little sister-in-law in such danger."
Lu Jinghan walked to the sofa, leaned over, and extinguished his cigarette in the ashtray: "This place is Liao Tingxiao’s turf. Rescuing soone won’t be easy. First, we need to know where Xiao Xi is being held by him."
Lu Jinghan forced himself to calm down. To rescue Han Xi, he must not act impulsively.
Fu Bin had just gotten off the plane and imdiately called Lu Jinghan: "Jing Han, where are you now? I’ll co to you right away."
"Why are you here too?"
Fu Bin rubbed his temples in guilt: "Little sister-in-law... I personally took her to the airport. I have to ensure her safety, or I won’t have the face to see you."
