Imdiately he said the word, the air around him trembled and shook, and a force clamped down on him like a vice, drawing him back.

Vacuse frowned. "I am already in the fourth realm. This can’t be my limit, right? Even with all the training that I did and my now superior Soulbearer. Don’t tell this is how far I can reach?"

Vacuse wasn’t that upset. He gently rubbed his chin with a pensive look on his face. "This is how far Drenvar reached. I should be able to reach more than him."

He expressed a bitter smile and then his eyes narrowed. He snapped, "Fifth realm!"

The force on him increased, and his body shuddered as pain slamd into him. He grunted softly. Then he took a deep breath. "I guess I would have to use it then."

His tone was solemn. "The Forbidden Technique."

Although it’s called the Forbidden Technique, it’s actually more of a spell than anything.

The spell began to flash in his head and his mouth opened. "Lregua..."

He began to speak it. It’s an ancient language that even Drenvar had to hire professionals and learn before he could be able to utilize it properly.

It screeched in the ear like nails on a rusted sword, and it fell from his mouth like a curse, bitter to the taste and twisting in the air.

The space around him that was holding him down changed imdiately. The force turned aggressive and at the sa ti more timid.

Vacuse felt the pressure on him lessen imdiately and his body was free, and yet a feeling of doom overwheld him because sothing even more than doom fell on him.

He was dragged forward by that feeling of doom just as the words he was speaking ca to an end and the silence fell like a sword.

Vacuse Vorrakyn was in the fifth realm.

The realm of the Dragons.

But he took his ti to stabilize before he looked around him. The spell he used had drained him, so much so that he was feeling quite feeble and weak.

Boom! Bam! Bang!

Suddenly the space around him exploded once again. He raised his head and what he saw made him flinch and recoil.

A Dragon?

"Speak quietly or you’ll smash him just with your voice," a voice said. Its voice was rough and sharp. It gave the impression of a sharp knife.

"What is this?" Vacuse looked up.

And he soon realized.

Dragons. They stood in front of him.

How many are they? Vacuse felt a faint tremble in his heart as the Dragons looked down on him. There must be at least twenty of them, coiled around small mountains, their eyes on him.

"A Human."

Unlike the last ti, their voices didn’t sound like explosions.

Vacuse’s eyes shone as he looked at the different brilliant colors of the Dragons and felt their majesty and prestige on him like a living thing.

He almost bent his knee and bowed, but he held himself back.

Unlike the other beasts, Dragons are intelligent, and with their age, they’ve learned to be crafty and sly.

The fifth realm. The realm of the S-ranked Dragons.

Vacuse couldn’t believe he was there. Over the last hundred years, no one in the Vorrakyn family had been there. It made his body tingle in a way he just couldn’t put his hands on.

Vacuse grinned and didn’t hide the pride and arrogance that flashed on his face. "I am here!"

The great beasts turned to each other before they regarded him once again. One of them rumbled, "You sll familiar."

"Of course he does. There is only ever one bloodline that cos here, and that’s them. The Vorrakyn!"

Vacuse didn’t know if it was the fact that he was in their realm that he was hearing them so clearly, sothing that doesn’t happen. He didn’t interrupt as they talked among themselves.

"Oh? They’re still alive. I thought they had died out or sothing because they’ve not reached here for a long ti. So there are still so of them alive. Impressive!"

"Right? All the useful ones among them must have died out, leaving only the—"

"What about this one? Well... he’s not that bad. I think. I want him!"

"No! I will take him!"

"No. You’re just a lightning Dragon. I, the Great Earth Dragon, the Earth Shaker, will take him!"

"Fools! I, the Space Dragon, will take him!"

"I, the Dragon of the Deep Sea, have interest in him!"

Vacuse stood there in shock. In just a second, the peaceful environnt was turned chaotic. Even though they didn’t seem to use any obvious magic, the space around them was shaking, and an aura of bloodlust spread from them and slamd into him.

Vacuse was sent backwards. He couldn’t believe his eyes and ears.

’...they are fighting... over him?...’

Clang! Ping! Clang!

Aura clashed in the air and the force was like swords crossing. Sparks flew, and their roars seed to shatter the earth.

Vacuse, who didn’t know what to do, suddenly felt sothing. The force that had been calling him suddenly tugged him forward with blinding speed.

He shouted out in fear. "Wait! Wait! I haven’t even tried to breach the next realm!"

But the force kept pulling, and behind him he heard the roars of furious Dragons.

"Wait! You bastards in the Sixth realm are overstepping your boundaries!"

"Leave him to us!"

"Don’t let him go!"

"I already chose him! Leave him here!"

Vacuse might have found it amusing in another situation, or maybe later, but right then he didn’t find anything funny. A force that he couldn’t control was pulling him forward, while behind him, angry Dragons shouted at him.

And for a brief mont, he was suspended in mid-air as equal forces pulled him forward and back. But then he was jerked forward and he was gone.

Leaving behind painful howls.

Vacuse steadied his breath as he found his footing again. The force that was pulling on him had stopped. "Ah! Seriously! Don’t they know how terrifying they are?"

An amused voice answered, "Is that so?"
