Most animals hunt in packs, sharing food and working together. If only humans did the sa.

Sadly, our pride and ego prevent humanity from uniting. Truly, the situation is amusing to a beast like . Everyone wants to be king, and without paws, being a king becos aningless.

No one wants to follow the other. You have to show your superiority on a large scale to make them consider it, and even more so if you want a human to follow you in your reign.

But truly, it isn’t worth it. Those who are blind to the truth don’t deserve salvation, let their pride swallow them whole. Only those who decide to beco your followers on their own are the ones you should show the light to.

Though, there is an exception. It’s the ones who wish for the light but don’t have the possibility. Those people turn out to be the greatest soldiers, feeding on their past despair.

You just have to give them a glimpse of hope, then everything just happens naturally. And to my luck, this place was full of these lost souls, wandering for the light to go into the afterworld.

Yet, my path was blocked by a big wall. One that ruthlessly devours dreams and hopes. As much as I tried, no one could see the hope in this place. And they already had a leader, one that drained them of their essence, their will to leave, and any hope that still so wondered inside their soul for a way to ignite.

’Recruiting even a single human was going to be impossible...’ my eyes lit up, and a terrifying smile corrupted my innocent face. If anyone had seen like this, they could have mistaken for a beast. ’But I have already done it. I had already done the impossible.’ I looked over at dusk, but did he really count?

He was one of those who searched for the light on their own, and his hope had already ignited a long ti ago. He was soone confident in his strength, soone who wasn’t shy to try sothing that seed impossible.

But would he really, I wonder how true this statent is. My eyes widened, and my jaw opened slightly as my brain had finally done sothing. It had co with a delusional plan, one that only the pridefulness would try, only those foolish enough to even believe there was a way.

...

The cold wind hit my face constantly as my legs trembled from anxiety. The grass tickled my feet as I walked, and beside , the darkness itself resided.

"Do you think this would work, speak truthfully." Dusk turned his head to look at with his lifeless eyes. Thinking of it, they were always this way, like light was scared of searching inside them.

’That’s a dumb question, of course, I don’t!’ I sighed, annoyed by this aningless question. There was no way of truly knowing the results of this plan, only ti would tell. ’But this is the only way, the only way to guide those wondering souls to the light.’

He sighed, then turned away from him, his eyes looking on those of the giant. "But don’t you also need to be guided to that light?" I looked at him, confused, as he unsheeted a sword he had count on count borrowed from a store.

"I an, looking at how hard you’re trembling... I can only think you’re scared." Was I? I couldn’t be scared, could I? I had faced the strongest humans and beasts in my past life, so why was a lowly giant making tremble to my bones and down?

"Well, it doesn’t matter to , I’ll do it on my own if I have to. Just don’t die so I have soone to bla for stealing these weapons." That’s right, he wasn’t the only one who had prepared.

Around my waist, was a belt full of small dagers just waiting to draw blood. And I couldn’t wait to use them to cut this guy into pieces. ’One giant stake coming right away.’

"Please don’t say that again..."

But why did I choose such tiny weapons, well, truly, these are the easiest to control with my skill. Using it would turn out to be a safer plan than trying my luck with using a blade. Even if my technique in the first mory was wonderful, it’s not the best ti to confirm if it was or the body I was in that was making those movents.

The steel on these things was a cheap one you would see everywhere, but anything can be dangerous at a top speed. I just had to hope I would hold myself together even after using my skill for that long of a ti.

And well...

Skills- [Kings Authority],[Pawn Of Adaptability]- copied ability [Weapon Toss]

[Weapon Toss]- Back in the Stone Age, humanity used spears to hunt animals, specifically the ones on the bigger side. But just stabbing them proved not to be that helpful, so one day, soone did sothing no one else did: he threw his weapon. These skills make every weapon you throw more powerful.

They were also the best to use combined with this skill.

I had first wanted to copy one of Dusk’s skills, but I was sadly t with the system telling I could only copy one ti from a person. I had completely forgotten about this restriction. And with ti running out, I didn’t want to go into the battle with no skill copied.

’Speaking of it, couldn’t I have copied one of the giant’s skills? Damn it!’ If only I had a little more patience, I would have had to copy a skill from a random guy on the street.

I watched as the giant approached us. Truly, it was bigger than I rember, for it we were probably so small ants that were invading his secret land.

But what was the plan anyway? Were we expecting to be able to defeat this monster? No, this only served to ignite the fire that still burned in so of those here. After all, it only takes a small spark to get a fire going.
