She enjoyed this new life of her but soon it too grew boring. Constant war was annoying. Empire was not a place for thinkers or creators. The whole empire was scared of saying a single word against the emperor or the royal family. It was filled with hidden spies who took great pleasure in reporting such 'traitors'.

The emperor was a very insecure person. She had seen it for a long ti, but it just beca more noticeable over ti. She was constantly commanded to do this and that against the two kingdoms, so their people would hate her, and her loyalty to the empire would be cented.

Moondancer did not like being ordered around and played with. But her options were limited. Other than waiting, she had no choice.

When the boy returned, she thought that finally she had a purpose. She knew he would sooner or later. Whatever spell Morph Vialist had used on her was active all this ti. She knew he was alive, sowhere.

Finally, she can get her powers back and work towards fulfilling her revenge. But the boy was easy to get to. After the ridiculous power he showed against the demons and scared the emperor shitless, The Emperor refused to help her enact her revenge against the boy. She was alone again. She stopped trying to be all nice with the emperor. She didn't care anymore.

The boy joined the Sanctuary. Once again, hearing about all the achievents and inventions he made angered her to no end. She kept searching for chances, but they never ca. Sanctuary was growing too fast. The boy was too crafty and powerful. And she only had half her powers.

News of Damian killing the Sea Snake reached her, and she could not believe her ears. A fourth ranker! The experience points of that alone would give him hundreds of levels! Now it was near impossible to even go near him.

Then the day ca when she was offered the deal. She was a scholar after all. She never told anyone, but her interest in mana theories had originated from her lifelong goal of trying to make her appearance normal. After regaining her face, the necessity had beco more of a hobby.

Moondancer wanted to kill the man, but that feeling of revenge had seen several seasons of change now. The reason she hated Damian so much was the fact that he had killed Threadripper—the only person who actively tried to co near her, even with her abnormal appearance. It was lust that was guiding him, not affection—she knew that. All third rankers were weirdos.

Threadripper liked odd won. But still, it was nice to be desired. He was a.. friend.

She didn't forgive Damian, but she desired her powers more than anything. Working with him might give her a better chance to do sothing to him or his loved ones. So she accepted the deal offered by Damian. Being pretty was good, and she hated to lose her face again, but being powerless was never acceptable! She could never ascend without improving her esper skills.

Though she had started to wonder if she even wanted revenge at this point.

Her desire for revenge was not greater than her desire for survival. A man who could kill a fourth ranker and build massive runic tools, so of which were better than actual supre grade duneon relics, was not sothing she could easily ss with and hope to survive.

When they started clearing and exploring dungeons together while discussing the civilizations, spells, theories, and everything, Moondancer realized another thing, which completely broke her desire for revenge.

Damian, Vidalia, and Landbreaker.. these people did not see her as an enemy or an abnormal person. Several tis while discussing such things, they even randomly started talking about various thods or studies one would need to do for controlling unique Esper powers, so the transford individual wouldn't have to live their whole lives being so different if they didn't want to.

The Spellmaster and Damian were interested in creating such a spell, while Landbreaker liked the idea of having so thod to help Esper children of the Mainland.

It took a long ti for her to co to terms with the fact that she was the only person holding herself back. Threadripper was long dead, and her duchy was lost. Carrying the past unnecessarily only made her life needlessly difficult. The boy was impossible to kill, and killing Vidalia would not make her appearance any better.

'Besides, that bitch has kids now. The bastard would rip to pieces if I even touch her hair.'

What a fucked up luck that the two people she hated the most ended up marrying each other!

Vidalia had actively left their Exploration Group. The deadly Spellmaster's passing words to her were, 'I have been Spellmaster for a long ti. I only wish to be a mother now.'

She didn't forgive these two people. Never! But she no longer wasted her life planning revenge either. Her desire now was only to ascend and sohow get back her normal appearance permanently without losing her power in the process.

Under 48 minutes, they cleared the whole hundred-level dungeon! That broke all previous records! Though the dungeon ti difference was in their favor this ti.

Damian and Landbreaker had killed Legendary and Unfathomable monsters, as the creatures owed them money!

Reaching the end, the whole party was free to do whatever they wanted till the guides and maps were ready. Moondancer saw Damian, Landbreaker, and a few researchers hurriedly taking out giant runic machines of all kinds while the enourmos eight legged pitch black octopus-bat mixtured high-tier Unfathomable monster struggling to break free from Damian's runic chains with purple glowing runic circles etched on it.

"What are you doing now? Is it another secret?" She approached and asked.

Damian gave a passing glance and muttered, "Not a secret but a dangerous experint. The thing we were trying to make is ready. We are going to do it today."

Her eyes widened! He already found a way to access a dungeon core's inside?

Her interest was piqued. Damian sent everyone away, but she refused to leave, and he didn't bother to argue. It always amused her how Damian ignored the fact that she was from the Empire. He acted so carefree. He did not say it, but it was clear how little he thought of the Empire, even if they spy on him and steal valuable knowledge.
