So the eighth and ninth tower cubes were set up by him, opening two more channels. The mass communication/report channel for all Sanctum officials was not open just yet, but the record typing channel was open. Damian just had to modify the sacrium bracelets of the six heads a little. And hire a 20-person team of writers, whose entire job was to type the important docunt content into this new records channel all day.
So the heads of the sanctum would have all the information in their hands, and they could check it in seconds to make better decisions in their daily departnt managent. They wouldn’t have to ask each other everything, every ti.
The private chat was separate, and this record channel was separate. So the private chat wouldn’t be so cluttered with all this work talk. Still, there were no restrictions, so anyone could ask anything in there. But it had started to turn into more of a casual chat slowly.
"Now," Damian spoke up, turning all heads towards him in his office. "Along with all that we are doing, we have to start preparing for the grand event for the dungeon opening. The people are getting restless, awaiting the day, we need to make sure the guests will never forget the event."
"So the rumour is entirely true? We are opening the dungeon for everyone in the Sanctuary?" Valen asked with an excited smile. Celes and Seraphina were also showing similar expressions.
Agatha and Hester understood the importance of the dungeons as well, but compared to these nobles, they underestimated the real ramifications of Damian making it open for the general public.
Damian nodded, "Not just Sanctuary, but open for the whole mainland. It’s one of the most significant events for our country. The waygates are kind of an extension of this plan as well. Till now, Sanctuary was a place where people ca to take shelter, but through this, it will beco a place where people co seeking life-changing opportunities."
"That’s a very bold plan," Seraphina murmured.
"The image of Sanctuary is already changing with all the runic advancents and business opportunities. If we add the dungeon benefits along with it, Sanctuary would beco the most appealing place to live in the entire mainland." Celestine revealed her thoughts aloud.
"Yes," Damian said, "And so from now till we are done with the event, we have to keep most of our focus on it. So of the things that we need, on top of my head, are the hundred dungeon guide books, a big event venue, and setting up the place where all hundred dungeon entrances will be. We will also use the occasion to hold a small fighting tournant. And so other non-violent entertainnt gas and competitions."
For the hours that followed, Damian started discussing with his assistants the plans in detail. Most of the work was sothing only he could do, which was why the organization of the whole event was on his shoulders. He delegated the work of checking out the hundred dungeons to Sam and Einar. They had the initial reports, but being sure before opening all that to the public was a must.
The island, where Damian planned to keep the entrances of the hundred dungeons, needed to be set up properly. He wanted to make it a small resort town, with beachside inns and pubs. There won’t be any residential buildings, only businesses, the buildings of which will be rented. Blacksmiths, rchant shops, and runic items would be sothing an island of dungeons would need the most. With waygates, the food and other life necessities could easily be managed.
Damian had to pick a big island, though, for future expansions. There were a few dungeon entrances on dium-sized islands. One of those would do.
The plan was to launch the event so 20 days from today. Still, the planning had to start; the talk show people needed a clear date to promote it officially. They were still doing it, but without ntioning the date.
He assigned tasks to all his assistants once they had decided on so things. Damian, himself, left his office afterwards and headed back to his runic lab. He had sensed Jacob moving at last.
When he entered the lab, the sacrium and Blazur mixed heavy armored form was moving like an athlete.
The movent of Jacob’s legs and arms had seen great improvents; he could now bend at any angle and could pick up even the smallest of tools. The receiver windows were much easier to type in for him now.
Jacob used the Sanctum article channel to talk, but he never sent the ssages - only typing them to show him and communicate that way. Damian had set it up like that so that in his free ti, Jacob could read the articles and ask the aning of hard, unknown words to him afterwards. It had proven to be the most effective thod to teach Jacob new words after Damian had taught him all the basic alphabet and grammar.
Noticing him, Jacon turned his featureless head towards him. The two arms of the tal man were still high up. There were no emotions, but Damian got the vibe that the guy was smiling.
Just at that mont, Damian sensed a fluctuation in mana. He was being targeted as a waygate anchor. The other side of the waygate was.. Vidalia and her mother. He wasn’t surprised; the ssage had already reached him, and it only included Ilvanya’s visit scheduled at tomorrow morning.
The blue shimring portal opened up a second later, since Damian did not break the connection. Two elegant elves stepped out of the blue portal dressed in top-tier noble attire. It wasn’t overly fancy, but neither was it sothing normal people could afford. Treading a fine line between comfort and luxury.
"Welco to the Sanctuary," Damian said with a smile on his face, even though they had co a day before their scheduled visit.
But neither elf was paying attention to him at all. Their eyes were glued to the tal man shaped in a perfect human anatomy.
