[The royal palace, Eldoris, current ti, Vidalia’s POV.]

"Go through the thing he made, then at least," her mother muttered from behind her.

Vidalia tried to leave without telling her, but she had to inform the queen before packing her stuff. Then the woman had ratted her out. She understood their thoughts very well, though.

They were slightly worried that she would leave permanently. Even after her constant reassurances, it was clear to see that her simple relationship with the second keeper was not sothing easy for them to accept.

Whatever that was, Vidalia would never turn her back on her own motherland. It didn’t matter if they get it or not; she didn’t have to waste ti convincing them.

The queen sowhat understood the situation and had freed her from all duties for as long as she wanted. Her mother, on the other hand, was not that easily dismissed.

"If you go through the official thod, they won’t be able to ignore you. Everyone in Sanctuary would know you are there," her mother added again as Vidalia was slowly going through her stuff, storing them in her spatial storage.

The sacrium bracelet Damian had given her was of supre grade. Besides the amazing spatial storage tool, it was also a waygate tool. She had not shared that info with others. It was a private gift, and there was no need for her to show everything she had.

"I thought you were enjoying the retired life. What is it? Are you bored?" Vidalia shot back.

Her mother was not the best of people to get along with. For humans, it was very different; they didn’t get to spend so much ti with their loved ones. Added with the worsening physical condition of their elders over ti. But for elves, there was barely any noticeable physical difference between mother, cousin, daughter and now even a niece. Evrin was growing up so fast. It felt like just yesterday when she was born and was this tiny little thing.

"I am just worried for my little spellmaster," Ilvanya said with a suspiciously mocking tone. The love she had for her made the words true, but the tone was annoying to say the least.

Suddenly, Vidalia’s eyes widened as she stared at her mother.

"Wait a second! Did she tell you to tag along with to the Sanctuary?"

Ilvanya smiled, "She didn’t have to. I volunteered."

"You are not invited!"

"That’s why I sent words ahead, and your friend said I was welcod there anyti, we are family after all."

Vidalia squinted at her. There was no way Damian would say that to her. The extension of the invitation part could be true, though.

"War has ended. Why don’t you go back?" Vidalia shot back, continuing her packing.

"The world has beco much more interesting, researching on my own has gotten boring. I wouldn’t want to miss out on all the fun stuff Runebreaker is making."

Vidalia sighed and let her be. She was not going to stop her, not after the ssage of her visit was already sent. Guess her relaxing life wouldn’t be so relaxing for a while.

[Seventh floor, Sanctum building, Damian’s POV.]

"Lord keeper," Hester said with a stack of papers in hand, "The tal and ore sources in the dungeons have all been checked out by the army. Several new possible extraction sites have been reported. All the final reports are in here."

"Send it for writing," Damian replied.

After seeing the increasing need for the receiver channels, Damian had changed the intended purpose of the seven channels slightly.

Before there were seven channels online. One for the official Sanctum text announcents, second for the Sanctum ID list, third was the voice/online shop channel, fourth was Sanctum articles, fifth library, sixth academy and seventh was intended for comrcial publishing use.

However, in the end, Damian had decided to launch the comrcial channel later and had made the seventh channel a personal chatting space for the seven heads. The receivers they sold to the public only had three channels: Sanctum announcents, voice/shop and Sanctum articles.

Afterwards, Damian decided to combine the sanctum papers together with the comrcial business or entertainnt articles. Since it was all still new for people, the demand for individual publishing had not started yet. Damian had not advertised that either, being busy with the shop and other things. He even had to make a departnt for checking the submitted comrcial text people wanted to be published, and probably even take the typing requests.

Damian then felt like they needed at least two more channels. One for important docunts recording that were needed constantly to check details, and another for communications involving the whole of Sanctum.

He would have to create many rules for it, since knowing who typed what was impossible. Using a unique sanctum ID at the start of each ssage would indeed make things better. The things being reported here wouldn’t be so secretive either, so even if they leaked, it wouldn’t change much.

Still, Damian would take full precaution and make each receiver mana locked. Only pathfinders in charge of each team would be able to use it, and the liquid mana-powered ones Damian could install in each village and town with a giant heavy structure, so no one would even be able to steal it store in the spatial storage lower grade than supre. The mana to store such a giant structure could only be used by a third ranker. So that would prevent any petty attempt at theft and stuff.

Each person in charge of the village or the town will have to manage the communication and protect the giant structure from being accessed by just anybody.

It was for ergencies. Keeping it liquid mana-powered ant anyone could access it in tis of ergency to call for help. Damian will have to write a guide on how to use it and use the voice channel to spread awareness in an entertaining way.

Just knowing such a thing existed will break the courage of whatever remaining bandits and rogues still roaming in the Sanctuary land, trying to make plans for looting.
