"Violet," Sylas helplessly uttered.

With conviction present in her voice, Violet confessed, "Alpha, I sincerely, genuinely, absolutely like you. There is no confusion about my feelings for you.

If there was only gratefulness and dependence, I wouldn’t kiss you. I am not that casual. I barely did anything with Mathew."

Then, shyly staring at Sylas, she added, "I also want to sleep with you. But unfortunately, I am pregnant."

Sylas pressed on his forehead.

"Violet—"

She loudly cut him off, "You are not allowed to reject . You already allowed to chase you."

Sylas sighed. "You’re going to stop when you hit a hard wall."

Violet smiled.

"Alpha, look at . I am actually very loveable. That’s why, why don’t you try to like a little more everyday? Is that possible?" Violet’s voice was soft and humble.

Her eyelashes fluttered as she lowered her line of sight.

Then, her expression changed imdiately, and those hazel eyes turned brighter.

"No matter what, I plan to stick to you for your entire life. Even if it take ten years, I am willing to wait."

"What a fool," Sylas uttered, "no wonder you got taken advantage of."

Violet nodded.

"Isn’t that why you need to be by my side? You’re the strongest. Who can hurt with you by my side?

And your wolf too, Alpha, he likes a lot. Isn’t your wolf connected to your emotions? That ans you like deep inside but aren’t willing to admit it." She sounded cheeky.

Charlotte, standing by the open door, shook her head and comnted, "Look at her take a mile when given an inch. Obliviousness is truly bliss."

Gabrielle smiled. "Maybe this is soone Alpha needs. Soone with true sincerity."

Lucas nodded and piped in, "Alpha changed a lot around her. Although he noticed, he isn’t willing to accept it."

"Is this a fool’s luck?" Charlotte was confused. "Alpha’s taste regressed? Luna Julia was a smart and elegant lady. What is this Violet?"

Lucas poked on her forehead in dissatisfaction. "Violet is adorable, and that is enough. Doesn’t looking at her fill your heart with love? If I got her as my mate, I would love her a lot."

"Are you trying to curse her?" shouted Lydia from behind.

Their conversation didn’t ring Violet’s ears. Her flirting with Sylas was interrupted when her phone rang up. Taking it out, she noticed a ssage from Tyler.

It read, "Alpha Jas was killed."

Violet furrowed her brows.

At the sa ti, Gabrielle walked over and inford Sylas. "Alpha, Alpha Jas’s dead body was found outside his pack border."

Then, Violet added, "Jason says that Mathew returned to the pack. This two can’t be connected, right?"

Mathew’s presence in the room was overwhelming. There was a silent pressure around him, forcing them to lower their heads around him.

There was a rising anxiety in everyone’s chest at Mathew’s changed state. All of a sudden, it seed that Mathew had beco really powerful.

Jason’s hand trembled, and he had a bad feeling about it.

Then, the footsteps reached into his ears, and a pair of shoes appeared in front of his eyes. Jason’s muscles tensed.

"Raise your head," ordered Mathew.

Jason slowly raised his head. There was right amount of fear and respect in his eyes.

Mathew sneered.

"Don’t think I don’t know the dirty looks you give behind my back. What? Could it be that you still miss Violet?" asked Mathew sarcastically.

Although there was panic rippling inside Jason, he maintained his composure.

"There is nothing like that. My loyalty lies to you, Alpha," Jason obediently stated.

But Mathew’s dissatisfaction with him stayed. The man raised his leg and kicked him directly in the stomach, sending Jason flying back. Jason fell down— his head collided against the wall.

A sharp pain went through his chest, feeling his ribs being crushed.

The difference in strength compared to before was obvious.

Although Mathew beat up the werewolves before, they were warrior wolves, and Mathew’s attacks didn’t cause much damage to them. However, now he easily overpowered them.

Everyone’s expression filled with terror and caution brought Mathew joy.

Finally, they would completely submit to him.

As Mathew made his way over to Jason, Tyler imdiately ca over and knelt in front of Mathew. Staring at him with high reverance in his eyes, he resembled a loyal follower.

"Alpha, you’re back. We have all been waiting for you. And you seem more magnificent than before. It is an honor for to serve you. Please tell if you have anything to do. I am willing to hand over my life to you," Tyler submissively expressed.

Mathew extended his hand and patted on Tyler’s shoulder.

"You’re the one I know I can trust, Tyler," Mathew expressed, "I expect you to achieve great things in the future."

"All I need is a command from you, Alpha." Tyler bowed.

After making a few more shows of power to scare the werewolves, Mathew was in his room. Locking the door, he threw his head back and began to laugh loudly.

Bella smiled. "Congrats, Mathew. Now, no one will dare to look down at you."

"Right," Mathew stated, "Before I was being ignorant when I thought simply the position could make happy. But now this power— it makes greedy for more. At this point, I could have the entire world in my hands."

Bella ca over and wrapped her hands around Mathew’s neck.

"That will be happening soon," Bella expressed, "you will be the strongest one."

"Right," Mathew said. His eyes burned with ambition.

"Jas isn’t strong enough. I need that Sylas’s blood. If I had his power, would there be anything I need to be afraid of?" Mathew comnted.

"We need to take it slow with Sylas. He is much stronger and smarter than Alpha Jas," Bella reminded.

"Tell your Master to find a way to get Sylas. I can’t wait any longer. As long as Sylas is out there, I can’t feel at ease," Mathew vocalized.
