Bang!

The heavy impact echoed through the small shop. The man was instantly forced to release Pan Biya’s sleeve as the sheer montum sent him staggering backwards wildly. He coughed up a sharp mouthful of blood, his face turning pale as he nearly collapsed entirely onto the hard floor, clutching his chest in agony.

The entire group froze in absolute shock for a brief mont before exploding into furious, chaotic shouts.

"You little bitch! How dare you kick my friend?!"

"I will teach you a lesson you will never forget today!"

Before the enraged group of n could rush forward in a mob to attack Bai Xifeng and Pan Biya, a loud, booming voice suddenly rang out from the doorway, cutting through the noise and stopping them dead in their tracks.

"What do you think you are doing in this city?"

The voice was incredibly thick with raw authority and dense spiritual power. Along with the words, the group of n imdiately felt a trendous, suffocating weight of pressure descend upon their shoulders, making it difficult to even breathe.

Everyone in the shop turned their heads toward the entrance and saw Jin Huan standing there, his expression severe. He stepped firmly into the store, with two heavily ard n following closely behind him like sentinels.

The old storekeeper imdiately let out a sigh of relief, a smile forming on his face as he hurried forward to greet Jin Huan. In fact, he had been the one who secretly called for Jin Huan in the first place. The mont he had seen how the rich young master’s group was behaving, he knew he needed powerful outside intervention.

Therefore, he had discreetly instructed one of his backroom staff mbers to slip out the back door and find Jin Huan. If they failed to locate him, they were instructed to contact the main city security team imdiately.

The rich young master’s group imdiately beca stiff, their muscles locking up as they did not dare move a single inch recklessly under Jin Huan’s piercing gaze. Before entering this prosperous city, they had already been warned repeatedly by their elders that they should never cause trouble within the walls. The city’s internal security force was famous across the land for being incredibly strict, powerful, and entirely uncompromising when dealing with arrogant troublemakers.

"Sir Jin, thank you for arriving so quickly. I would like to formally report this group of young n." The storekeeper quickly explained, gesturing toward the frozen group. "They aggressively attempted to harass these two young students. They demanded that the girls accompany them for drinks outside. The girls refused them multiple tis, and they were just about to use physical force to comply when the young lady defended herself."

Jin Huan listened quietly, sweeping his sharp gaze across the tense room before it eventually stopped directly on Bai Xifeng’s completely unbothered face.

"It’s you again." Jin Huan stated, rubbing his temples slightly.

"Well, you certainly can’t bla for this one. It’s really not my fault," Bai Xifeng shrugged casually, raising both hands in mock innocence to emphasise her point. "They are the ones who tried to touch us and harass us first. I was just protecting my senior sister and myself from a bunch of total creeps. That’s all it was."

Her tone was completely nonchalant and relaxed, as though she were discussing a minor change in the afternoon weather rather than a violent altercation she had just actively participated in.

"You really know how to talk your way out of things." Jin Huan responded, narrowing his eyes slightly as he looked at her.

"It’s the absolute truth, though." Bai Xifeng replied instantly, without showing the slightest bit of guilt or hesitation.

Everyone present in the shop seed deeply surprised by their familiar interaction.

The old storekeeper was completely stunned, his mouth slightly agape. Pan Biya blinked in surprise, shifting her gaze back and forth between the two of them. Even the rich young master’s followers looked utterly confused. From the casual way the two spoke to each other, it sounded less like a stern security officer dealing with a public troublemaker and more like two old acquaintances who had crossed paths several tis before.

Jin Huan completely ignored the surprised looks surrounding him and turned his sharp attention back to the rich young master’s trembling group.

"Do you want to co with us willingly, or do you want us to force you?" Jin Huan asked, his voice calm yet absolutely terrifying.

"Why should I go anywhere with you?!" The rich young master imdiately protested, his face flushing red. "We did not do anything wrong! We only invited them out for a few harmless drinks. Is that a cri in this city? Not to ntion, she is the one who violently kicked my friend! Why don’t you arrest her as well if you’re so fair?"

The rich young master desperately attempted to reason with Jin Huan, trying to shift the bla entirely onto the girls.

"That’s because your actions forced her to defend herself." Jin Huan replied coldly, cutting through his excuses without a hint of sympathy. Then, he repeated the exact sa question as before, his patience clearly wearing thin. "Do you want to co with us willingly, or do you want us to force you?"

"We will."

"No!"

The frantic people who answered, "We will," were the rich young master’s followers. They had enough common sense to realise where they were, and they certainly did not want to get hurt or dragged down any further.

The solitary voice that shouted, "No!" was, of course, the arrogant, rich young master himself.

Jin Huan did not waste another single mont arguing with him. He simply gave a sharp nod, signalling his subordinates with a flick of his eyes.
