’Our uniforms? Working?’

The two girls looked down at the high-grade, finely embroidered Tianlong School uniforms they were currently wearing, their minds montarily blank at the sheer absurdity of the comnt.

The storekeeper observed the unfolding situation from nearby, a cold sweat breaking out on the back of his neck and dampening his collar. From their ignorant comnts alone, he could already tell that this rowdy group of young n was definitely not from this town, nor anywhere near the region. Otherwise, they would have instantly recognised exactly where the two girls ca from the very mont they laid eyes on those iconic, prestigious uniforms.

"We don’t have to go anywhere with you. Please leave us alone." Bai Xifeng stated calmly, her voice dropping into a flat, dangerously emotionless tone.

She actively restrained her rising temper because there was simply no need to create an unnecessary, ssy scene outside the school grounds if it could be avoided.

The rich young master, however, appeared completely unconcerned and entirely unbothered by the girls’ blunt rejection. Believing that his status back ho ant he could do whatever he pleased here, he stepped even closer into their personal space and aggressively reached out his hand, intending to casually grab Bai Xifeng’s wrist to drag her along.

Pan Biya caught his sudden movent out of the corner of her eye. Without a single mont’s hesitation, she swiftly pulled her junior sister backwards, cleanly evading his grasping fingers.

"Please leave us alone right now." Pan Biya spoke again, but this ti, the polite sweetness in her voice was entirely gone, replaced by a chilling coldness that could freeze water.

The rich young master rely grinned, completely oblivious to the danger he was putting himself in.

"Your serious voice sounds pretty good too. Feisty won are much more fun." The rich young master mocked.

Seeing that things were rapidly reaching a boiling point, the storekeeper finally mustered up his courage and stepped forward from behind his wooden counter.

"Sirs, please do not harass custors inside my establishnt." The storekeeper stated firmly, trying his absolute best to maintain a semblance of order.

The group turned their attention toward the elderly storekeeper, their faces twisting as they shot him heavily displeased and threatening looks.

"Get lost, old man. Don’t interfere with my business here if you want your shop to stay standing." The rich young master glared at him coldly, his voice dripping with venom.

"You had better not ss with these young ladies. They are students from the Tianlong School." The storekeeper quickly reminded the group, raising his voice slightly in the hopes that the school’s fearso na alone would be enough to solve the problem and scare them off.

The exact mont Tianlong School’s na was ntioned aloud, the entire group froze mid-stride, their smiles instantly vanishing. A heavy, suffocating silence imdiately fell over the room.

Of course, they knew that legendary na. So these two girls were actually elite students from the fearso and protective Tianlong School.

The rich young master’s arrogant expression instantly darkened into sothing incredibly ugly and contorted. He had tried with all his might to enroll in Tianlong School during the previous rigorous admission period. Unfortunately for him, he had been utterly humiliated and eliminated during the very first round of the selection process. Furious and completely unwilling to accept the embarrassing result, he had even tried to persuade his powerful, wealthy father to pay a massive sum of money to the school in exchange for a backdoor admission.

However, the prideful elders of Tianlong School had not even bothered eting with his father, essentially throwing the attempted bribe right back in their faces without a second thought. That shaful, public incident had made him extrely angry, bitter, and deeply resentful toward the school ever since.

Because of that past humiliation, the rich young master harboured a toxic, deep-seated resentnt toward anything associated with Tianlong School. Learning that the two beautiful girls in front of him were disciples from that exact institution only made him even angrier, his rationality entirely consud by spite.

"So what if they are from Tianlong School? A woman only needs to be pretty and serve n at the end of the day." The rich young master sneered, trying to save face in front of his lackeys.

The n standing directly behind him imdiately chid in with raucous agreent, eager to please their leader.

"That’s right!"

"A good woman should know how to serve n properly instead of playing around with cultivation."

"Yeah. What’s the point of studying so hard anyway? You’ll just end up becoming another man’s wife in the future, regardless."

The storekeeper stood there, completely speechless and horrified. He truly could not understand these young n. What kind of ridiculous, backwards ntality was that? Did they have a death wish?

"Either way, you two should co and hang out with us right now." The rich young master spoke, his tone arrogant as if the matter had already been completely decided and they had no say in it.

"That’s right. You must be tired from studying all day. Co on, let’s go have so fun." Another man chid in, stepping forward.

The rich young master then signalled to his friends with a sharp wave of his hand, ordering them to grab the girls by force. One of the larger n stepped forward eagerly, his hand shooting out until he managed to firmly seize a handful of Pan Biya’s embroidered sleeve.

The very mont Bai Xifeng saw that unwanted contact, her eyes turned dead cold. Without the slightest hesitation or warning, she pivoted on her heel, raised her leg, and kicked the man directly in the centre of his chest with explosive force.
