Li ngru stepped forward to grab her hand and said, "But Sisi, don’t be so impulsive next ti. This ti it was on your future brother-in-law’s turf, and he stepped in to protect you. If it were sowhere else, even sister couldn’t help you."
"I understand!" Li Siru said with her head down, "I will be careful and won’t cause trouble for everyone."
"Mm. That’s all sister wanted to say, you should go back to work now?"
Li Siru nodded, and as she was about to turn and leave, Li ngru added, "Oh, Sisi, rember last ti I asked you what you thought about Lu Beiyao? You said you didn’t know him well but thought he must be excellent since I liked him. Recently, with you two commuting together, and how he defended you without question today, what do you think of him now?"
Li Siru stood in silence for a mont before turning back with a smile, "He’s pretty nice! Since he looks after because of sister, he must really like you. Sister, your judgent has never been wrong."
Li ngru nodded, "Even you think he’s that good, I should seriously consider getting engaged, so that such a great guy won’t be snatched away by soone else."
"Don’t worry, sister, you’re amazing too!" She took a barely noticeable breath, "How could brother-in-law possibly be taken away by soone else."
"That’s true, let’s go in!"
The two sisters linked arms and walked in together.
Li ngru and Zhou Ju’an left after having a light drink together, and as soon as they stepped out, Zhou Ju’an asked, "What were you talking to Sisi about just now?"
"Just confirming sothing!" Li ngru turned to look at him, "Cousin, I don’t know if n really understand other n better, and I’m not sure if Lu Beiyao actually has feelings for Sisi, but Sisi doesn’t have any thoughts about him, so take this chance to keep an eye on her, okay?"
Zhou Ju’an furrowed his eyebrows, "I got it! But whether you’re sure or not, I’m quite certain Lu Beiyao likes Sisi."
After work in the evening, Lu Beiyao still ca as usual to drive Li Siru ho. Li Siru asked directly, "Didn’t you say your parents ca back, and that you wouldn’t go to the Li Family tonight?"
"With you getting off so late, do you really think I’d let a girl walk ho alone? Just pack up and let’s go!" Lu Beiyao outright refused, "I’ll be waiting for you outside."
Li Siru turned to the lounge to pack her things. She intended to walk out the main entrance directly, but Lu Beiyao’s car was already parked at the door, and he honked to signal her to get in.
There were still people by the door, and with the big boss personally waiting here, she was worried about drawing attention and got into the car in a hurry.
"Lu Beiyao, just drop off at the front. It’s not hard to catch a cab at this ti," Li Siru said quietly.
Lu Beiyao glanced at her, "What are you fussing about now? I don’t like saying the sa thing a third ti."
"But Lu Beiyao, I really don’t want to ride in your car!" she said emotionally, leading Lu Beiyao to pull the car over to the side of the road.
He looked at her, puzzled and astonished, "What’s wrong? Are you still upset about what happened today? Why didn’t you just slap a few more tis? Don’t worry, I told you to hit her; even if you ruin her fake face, no one will dare to give you trouble."
"Why are you helping ?" she suddenly lifted her head and asked seriously. Before he could answer, she said, "Thank you for helping for my sister’s sake, but I really don’t like causing trouble for others. My car should be fixed by now, right? Let know where it is, and I’ll go get it myself tomorrow. I can drive myself ho in the future; you don’t need to keep giving a ride."
"It’s just that... I don’t feel like I’ve done anything to deserve your gratitude."
