The tal Dragons maintained their blockade and surveillance of the coast and the Dragon Nest for three days.

「Three days later」, there was still no news of the Silver Dragon King’s whereabouts, and the Supre Dragon Court on the main peak showed no signs of activity.

David, his patience exhausted, imdiately said to his dragon father Attilicia, who was long prepared for this, "We’re not waiting any longer. Let’s begin."

"Alas." Hearing this, Attilicia could only sigh. It seed that, in the end, force was still the only solution, which slightly vexed him, as he had only recently made quite a splash on Dragon Island.

Although before coming to Dragon Island, Attilicia had spared no effort in expressing his various dissatisfactions with the island’s current state to David. But so things were only fit for self-deprecation. When it actually happened, and especially in front of David, the dragon he cherished most, Attilicia felt like killing so dragons. It was that specific kind of suffocating frustration, like trying to prop up a crumbling wall with mud.

David and Attilicia’s actions naturally didn’t escape the notice of Serisilis, the dragon mother. She imdiately ca over and asked in an anxious whisper, "Attilicia... What are you two planning to do...?"

The turmoil on Dragon Island caused by the Silver Dragon King’s disappearance had already kept Serisilis on edge for days. Now, seeing David and Attilicia openly defying Dragon Island’s supre prohibition by setting up a Magic Teleportation Circle in the Dragon Nest, she grew even more panicked. To make matters worse, her mate Ronatas wasn’t ho, leaving her without her pillar of support.

Heaven pity her, Serisilis was just a Noble Silver Dragon young lady who had co of age only a few decades prior. She had never witnessed such a situation, and the two ’committing an offense’ right before her eyes were the ones she cared for most in the world—her son and grandson.

Just as David was wondering how to comfort his Silver Dragon grandmother, Attilicia, who had grown crafty over the years alongside his son, seed to have it all planned. He took out several alloy chains and tossed them to Tania and the others who were watching curiously.

"Here, help tie up your grandma."

"Roger that!" Tania, ever the type to enjoy a spectacle and not mind stirring things up, acted as if she’d just found a new ga. Grabbing the iron chains, she and her three Chromatic Dragon nieces promptly bound the utterly bewildered Serisilis. Then, for good asure, Tania playfully tied herself up too, her face practically beaming, Praise ! Tania is aweso!

"Mom, there’s no ti to explain," Attilicia said, busily coordinating with David, their claws and tails working in tandem, while also trying to soothe his mother. "If those tal Dragons burst in later, just tell them you’ve severed all blood ties with us, alright? Hey, hey, don’t cry! It’s just for show, for the other dragons, okay?"

Serisilis, of course, understood. How could she not? This was a asure David and Attilicia were taking to avoid implicating her. Yet this seemingly transparent charade was, oddly enough, effective on Dragon Island. This was likely Dragon Island’s peculiar version of the principle that ’an honorable person can be deceived by exploiting their integrity.’

Only Tania, long accustod to Attilicia and David’s sudden sches, stretched out her tail to gently stroke her Silver Dragon grandma’s back. Remarkably, she even had the composure to pull out a hefty to titled "Group Theory" and bury her nose in it, revising.

Countless past instances of useless tears and complaints have taught , young as I am, that only by studying hard can I keep up with David and the others, Tania thought. That way, big brother David will always feel confident bringing along on their adventures.

Since that ti years ago when he and David had stolen the Century Aroma in Dewensen, leading Attilicia to resu his study of Teleportation Circles, nearly half a century of practice and refinent had passed. He had long since mastered the setup of Magic Teleportation Circles. Furthermore, the spatial coordinate conversions between the Dragon Nest and Tokamak Fortress had been calculated long ago; setting up the circle now was akin to inputting a key into a pre-programd data lathe.

Even so, with the interference from the vast defensive network of the Dragon Nest—which enveloped the entirety of Dragon Island—this should have been a futile endeavor.

But then, David, who was standing by, extended his tail. Much like a cat tinkering with a transistor TV, he patted the intricate array left and right, even bending so of its originally precise and elegant lines. He then muttered to himself, as if performing so sort of ’industrial spellcasting,’ "Hmm, I reckon this should just about work now."

[Authority—Pride]

The next mont, under Serisilis’s utterly dumbfounded gaze, the previously unresponsive Teleportation Circle flared to life, a brilliant beam of magical light shooting straight to the roof of the Nest.

Even though this wasn’t the first ti Attilicia had witnessed such a scene, he was still filled with envy. He took a deep breath, his eyes shining, and exclaid, "Damn it, that’s practically a divine skill!"

If I had an ability like that, he mused, I could probably ’think’ many legendary, long-lost Alchemy Potions directly into existence. Even if they were just one-use.

The Teleportation Circle, forcibly established on Dragon Island, had barely activated when its magical light—so unprecedentedly offensive—seed to send the Dragon Nest’s defenses into a green-tinged panic. The Magic Enigma Lock blanketing the skies above Dragon Island whirred into full operation. Like a vast net, it attempted to ensnare this ’ho-invading’ interloper before the ’security detail’ could arrive.

Perhaps sensing this, the robust Gold Dragon stationed outside the Nest was the first to charge in. Unfortunately, the tunnel to Serisilis’s lair had been built to the dinsions of a mature Silver Dragon, and he got stuck halfway. Only his draconic head managed to peek through, roaring with uncontainable fury at David and Attilicia, who were crouched before the active Teleportation Circle:
