David always acted swiftly and decisively. After successfully persuading his Dragon Father, who was anxious about returning to Dragon Island, they set out together for the Port of Wallens to fetch the dragons.

What caught him by surprise was his expectation that Nifadora would oppose his decision to take Satilaesa’s three children to Dragon Island for temporary shelter. He had even prepared a ntal script for such an argunt.

But when father and son arrived at the Port of Wallens, they saw Nifadora had already packed up the three hatchlings and their luggage, seemingly just waiting for him to co and pick them up.

Just as David was about to speak, Nifadora, who had stepped forward slowly, pressed her head against his neck and whispered, "I’ve heard what happened. Now that the situation involves a conflict between gods, it’s beyond what a re mortal dragon’s wisdom can influence. Since you’ve made your decision, you must have your reasons. The only thing I can do, as I have for over forty years, is to fully support your choice. At least, I won’t beco a burden to you at a ti like this."

"Nifadora..." David was montarily at a loss for words.

It seed that ever since he had t her, this Green Dragon, whose intentions were always crystal clear, had never given him cause to worry about problems from his rear guard. Even when Katjana’s territory suffered an irresistible surprise attack and occupation by the High Elves, Nifadora had acted decisively. Despite David being absent and completely out of touch, she had perfectly anticipated the threat and orchestrated a strategic retreat in advance, saving nearly all the camp’s vital forces and most of its wealth. Her decision was exactly what he would have done himself.

After all, for David, a Heteromorphic Dragon from another world, territories and the like were all external possessions. He didn’t care about saving face; retaining power was what mattered most. As long as they grew stronger, they could eventually make the enemy pay back a hundredfold.

On Blue Star, in his previous life, she would have been the absolute epito of a virtuous wife and loving mother who brings prosperity to her husband.

Especially since this ’big sister’ figure, who coveted his body, utterly lacked the ’moral concepts’ typical of humans or tal Dragons. Back then, in broad daylight, she had brazenly pulled her own sister in to have a threeso with him, and later, she even took the initiative to invite his ’childhood sweetheart,’ Lizrite, into the mix. She had successfully defused a potentially disastrous entanglent in David’s life and put a satisfying end to his first mating season as a dragon.

Who wouldn’t love such a Dragon big sister?

Perhaps there wasn’t a passionate love between them. Even he couldn’t tell if what began as ’business partners’ could qualify as any damn love. But to David, she was already the perfect spouse, beyond the wildest dreams of his forr life: wise and generous, beautiful and wealthy, with a graceful figure, and always able to stir up so delightful trouble... COUGH! COUGH!

And just as David couldn’t help but laugh, recalling the image of Nifadora—who had once put a chain around her neck and locked herself in a cage, waiting for his return to their nest, looking as if she were ’at your disposal,’ a mory that had almost scared him to death back then—he saw Nifadora approach the three children she had almost single-handedly raised. She bowed her head, narrowed her eyes, and spoke to them earnestly, "In half a month, you’ll be five-year-old young dragons. Normally, according to the traditions of the Chromatic Dragons, I would have to kick you out of the nest to face the malice and hardships of the world. But it seems now that the ti may need to be moved up a bit."

"Mama..." At this mont, the three hatchlings, regardless of whether their inherent nature was Pride, Greed, or irascibility, all crowded forward, rubbing their cheeks against Nifadora’s chin.

As Chromatic Dragons, they found themselves sowhat unwilling to part with this Dragon Mother. Having already delved into the draconic legacy, they knew how fortunate they were to have such parents. They had almost simultaneously received gifts from both Chromatic and tal Dragons: freedom and kinship. These were things countless great dragons could never possess simultaneously in their entire lifetis, yet they were born with them.

However, this brief period of companionship seed to be drawing to a close, especially since, as Chromatic Dragons, they were about to be sent by their father to Dragon Island, a place inhabited only by tal Dragons. On one hand, they faced anxieties about the unknown; on the other, their mother’s warm and broad wings. Naturally, they were reluctant to leave.

This display imdiately moved the nearby Tania deeply. Being a Sentintal Silver Dragon, she couldn’t stop a few small, pearl-like tears from forming, but she quickly wiped them away with her claw, as if afraid of losing face as a dragon, and hurriedly hid them.

The Green Dragon sister, Shadila, felt a bit envious. Lizrite, on the other hand, felt an inexplicable jealousy, flicking her tail unhappily and muttering under her breath, "Hmph, three little ingrates."

This was especially true for one of them, who was actually her own flesh and blood. Yet, this hatchling seed more affectionate toward Nifadora, calling her ’Mama,’ while disrespectfully addressing her own mother by her na. So much so that sotis Lizrite had the odd feeling that this hatchling was her sister rather than her daughter.

Nifadora lifted her tail and gently stroked each hatchling’s head in turn, offering a aningful admonition, "Once you’re out of the nest, take care of yourselves."

"Hmm..."

"Okay, Mama."

"Anyone who dares to bully , I’ll thrash them!"

Nifadora looked at her Dragon Whelps, who at that mont were as docile as tal Dragons, and couldn’t help but smile. "That’s good. After spending half a lifeti bustling about behind your father, it’s ti for to look for my own path too."
