The Dragon Slayer warrior, laughing heartily, leaped down from the thirty-ter-high wall amidst the gasps of the crowd. His physique towered over ordinary people; his muscles were rock-like and distinctly visible beneath his skin, and his bare chest and shoulders were covered with battle scars. His hair stood up defiantly like a wild beast's mane, and his rough, disheveled beard added a feral quality to his rugged appearance. What amazed everyone was that he wore no armor, not even leather, only a crude fur loincloth. He gripped a crimson, irregularly shaped spear—a weapon made from a dragon's horn—its blade still looking as if it bore the residue of blood.

But only David, a dragon himself, was keenly aware that this was the standard equipnt of a true Dragon Slayer. After all, no matter how much a human might grow in strength or constitution, they were worlds apart from a True Dragon, especially a young Red Dragon; the innate size difference was undeniable. Therefore, what Dragon Slayers could stack was only their agility and sharp attacks. They definitely couldn't block or even parry direct hits from a dragon like in the online gas he'd played in his past life.

You think you can stand still and parry one for to see?

If I smacked anyone to the ground with one swipe of my claw, with no way for them to dissipate the force, they'd be reduced to a pile of at paste, no matter how much defense they stacked. On the other hand, a Dragon Slayer's sole advantage over a dragon was also their smaller size. Combined with their Martial Techniques and dragon-slaying weapons, this ant… Unparalleled, sharp, and lethal attacks! A legend's fully empowered strike was often more fatal than a siege-breaking, demon-quelling crossbow!

"Sorry, I don't really recall that na," David said. "I'm only here because, after hearing about my mother Crimson Calamity's experiences, I wanted to personally feel what it's like to engage a so-called Dragon Slayer in close combat."

Faced with a long-famous, legendary Dragon Slayer, David didn't use his winged advantage to kite his opponent. Instead, he slowly folded his wings and landed with a thunderous CRASH in the center of the grand arena.

If he resorted to such tactics to fight at range, this battle would be aningless. This was a rare opportunity—a chance for a fair fight with a Dragon Slayer. As his fa grew, more and more Dragon Slayers, drawn by his reputation, would co for him. He also wanted to see if he could replicate the Martial Techniques of legendary human warriors. Since he hadn't found any Martial Monk legacies yet, he might as well try being a draconic warrior. Otherwise, his Blood Scale Berserker class would be a waste.

"Just like a Red Dragon, your Pride is always the sa. Before I beca a legend, the Scarlet Fla was just as arrogant. You'd better be careful. When the ti cos, I might not be able to hold back. Don't go crying to your mother in the Divine Realm then," Baptiste laughed boisterously. Unlike other Dragon Slayers, he didn't even bother to drink an elental immunity potion.

David, too, flashed a savage smile. "Good, that's what I wanted to say to you. When I get worked up, I can't hold back my claws either."

As he spoke, David crossed his claws. Then, under the astonished gaze of everyone, he slowly drew two greatswords from his Portable Cavern. Each was over six ters long, covered in countless marks and irremovable bloodstains. These were the very Abyssal Iron Greatswords, once drenched in the souls of countless demons...

THUD! A tremor like an earthquake ran through the ground as if two city gates had crashed down, kicking up a cloud of dust.

Baptiste's eyes slowly widened, then he sneered, "...I must admit, you're nothing like any dragon I've ever seen."

Then, under the excited gaze of David and the spectators, he hefted his dragon-slaying spear... and with "Sprint," charged into action!
