Logi drowned the rest of his ale in one swift move before discarding the cup, the clatter echoing around the threshold.
Suddenly, with lightning speed, a sword launched toward him, embedding in the wall just inches from his head.
"Whoa...You could have taken my head there" he turned to Kraven, barely seen because of the dim lighting, and the sharp scrape of a blade’s tip dragging against the ground echoed through the area.
"Take the sword and fight "
Logi licked his lips and pulled the sword out. "Are you rattled?" he asked, matching toward him in bravery but he paused when the light hit Kraven’s face, and found him unamused.
Kraven is never unamused.
"Tell Logi, have you taken ti to train yourself properly?"
"What—" he began, but the words caught in his throat as Kraven charged toward him with incredible speed.
He managed to block the attack, but the force sent him stumbling backward.
"I see your brains are still your strong suit, didn’t I warn you they are not the only factor needed?" he charged again, faster and stronger than before.
Each swing of his blade clashed against Logi’s with an overwhelming force it felt like a giant wielding an axe.
"You need brawls!" Kraven swung his sword, the clash of steel ringing out as it t Logi’s blade.
He stepped closer, closing the distance between them in a heartbeat.
"Is the Fae ale dampening your senses?" he chuckled and Logi struggled to keep place.
With a powerful shove, their blades separated, and Kraven delivered a swift kick that sent Logi flying across the threshold, his back crashing hard against the wall.
"Get up!" he snarled.
Logi spat a mouth full of blood, wiping the stain on his lips with a smirk.
"What’s with the long face? They are celebrating about you, you should be overjoyed, drinking and a woman on your lap" He struggled to get to his feet. "And here you are, bullying "
Kraven ca at him again and this ti Logi was able to stay rooted as their swords clashed nurous tis but it was hard to overco the terrifying strength Kraven displayed, it was akin to fighting with a beast on a rampage.
As the second passed, Logi grew frustrated not because he was getting his ass handed to him but because his fruition was proved right.
He ant to allure Isadora with the ale and act as if he was trying to seduce her just to get a reaction out of Kraven.
’Is he not going to say anything?’ The anger ate him up, fortifying his move and able to push Kraven back an inch.
Everything is clear now and yet he chose to remain stoic. "Say sothing!" Logi yelled.
Why would he keep such a thing from him? Leave without a word for winters.
Kraven remained silent, rotating his sword as he charged at him once more. This ti, he overpowered Logi, bringing him to his knees and knocking the sword from his hand.
Without hesitation Kraven impaled the blade in his right hand, earning a gut-wrenching scream from Logi.
Growling, he glared at Kraven, whose eerily calm expression remained unchanged.
For a split second, he thought Kraven might take his head, but instead, he crouched to his level and placed a hand at the back of his head.
"Touch her again and I’ll cripple you" he threatened. "She’s my prey"
Logi released a forceful chuckle that had more pain than humor.
"Your prey?" he mocked. "Or you an mate?"
At Logi’s words, his teeth clenched as he redrew the blade, earning a wail from Logi.
He had slipped. He should have known Logi was trying to outsmart him, but his rage had gotten the best of him.
"Get yourself fixed," Kraven said, turning to walk away.
"IT SHOULD’VE BEEN !" he bood, causing Kraven to halt.
"Do you have any idea how it felt?!" he trembled, holding his bloody hand.
"You should have taken with you," he mumbled. "But you took Rav instead" he grinded his molar until he was certain it would turn to dust.
He glared at Kraven’s back. Wishing he would turn and see the look in his eyes and how sincere he was.
"Yes, I should have, you would have been the better choice,"
"Then why didn’t you?"
In silence, Kraven walked away.

Logi staggered forward, searching for dical attention. He had lost a lot of blood, but his mind was consud with sothing else.
He stopped, leaning against the wall and clutched his wounded hand to his chest. The wound was severe—it had been caused by the Kraven’s blade, after all.
It seed like he would never build again. He chuckled at the thought, shaking his head.
It was worth it because he found out Kraven’s secret, which foolish Rav could not figure out. This proves everyone was incompetent except him.
"Logi?" Nyssa said with wide eyes slowly approaching him and then her eyes found his wound. "Almadra! What happened to you? You need a skin weaver at once!"
"Kraven will slumber soon," he said.
Nyssa blinked confused.
"Make sure she fails," he faced Nyssa with a look of indifference. "Accidents happens all the ti when training"
She paused at his words before folding her arms. "Why the change of heart? I thought you were certain she would fail, you didn’t even give the stray a thought"
’That was before I found out she’s Kraven’s mate’ he thought sternly.
"Logi?"
"Your intuition was right Nyssa, your master seems to have so fascination with the stray, I got this because I tried to touch her"
Rage blazed in Nyssa’s eyes at Logi’s words. "What?"
Logi pushed himself off from the wall and stopped beside her, leaning to her ear. "You should have seen his face, he was unamused"
Nyssa’s fist clenched hand and a foul expression devoured her features.
"And look at what I got in return" he said, clicking his tongue. "I’m going to get myself fixed before I pass out"
