Over the next couple of weeks, Elias received seventeen recruitnt offers. Each one more elaborate than the last.

The Eternal Spiral Sect offered him an Elder position, a personal cultivation mountain, and 100,000 Infinity Essence signing bonus.

The Boundless Path Alliance offered similar terms plus access to their ancient technique library.

The Probability Collective, true to Vel’kora’s warning, sent a Master-level cultivator nad Chon to "extend a personal invitation."

Chon was a being of pure probability, existing in multiple states simultaneously. He appeared at Elias’s door unannounced.

"Elias Vance," Chon said, his voice coming from multiple probability states at once. "The Collective recognizes your talent. We offer you a position as Core Disciple with imdiate access to Master-level resources."

"I decline."

"You should reconsider. The Collective doesn’t make offers lightly."

"Neither do I make declinations lightly. I’m not interested in joining any sect. Just please leave."

Chon’s form solidified slightly—a sign of irritation. "Perhaps a demonstration would change your mind. Would you be willing to spar? Just to see the benefits our techniques could offer you?"

Elias recognized this for what it was—a thinly veiled challenge. The Collective wanted to test his strength and pressure him into joining by showing him "superior" techniques.

"No, thank you."

"I’m afraid I must insist." Chon’s aura flared. "As a Master, I have certain... prerogatives when dealing with Adepts who refuse reasonable requests."

That was a threat. A subtle one, but a threat nonetheless.

Elias sighed. "Fine. Just One strike. If you can withstand one strike from , I’ll consider your offer."

Chon smiled. "Agreed. And when you fail to harm , then you’ll join the Collective."

They moved to a section of the courtyard, an open battle arena . of compressed multiverses. Chon activated his defensive techniques—multiple probability shields layered across different states of existence. It was an impressive defense that could withstand attacks from multiple tilines simultaneously.

"Ready when you are, Adept Elias."

Elias raised one finger. Then he activated his new Adept-level power—Infinite Multiplicity Strike.

The technique created one attack that was infinite attacks. His finger didn’t just tap Chon’s shield—it tapped the shield in infinite variations, from infinite angles, in infinite tilines, all simultaneously.

The probability shields didn’t just break—they ceased to exist. The concept of "defense" beca aningless when faced with genuinely infinite offense.

Chon flew backward, broke ti and space, smashed into multiple dinsions, crashed through three realms, and finally landed in a fountain in the next district over.

Elias lowered his finger. "I decline your offer. Please don’t co back."

The Master didn’t return.

After that incident, the recruitnt offers stopped. Word spread that Elias Vance had casually defeated a Master-level cultivator with one finger while only being an Adept.

This had two effects: First, people stopped bothering him. Second, people started being much more polite when they saw him.

Elias used the peace to organize his resources and plan his next steps.

Current status:

Infinity Law: 47% (Adept level) Remaining Essence: ~39 million (after spending 10 million on breakthrough) Luminite reserves: 300,000 units still available

He could push imdiately toward Master level, but that felt rushed. Better to stabilize at Adept, explore what this level offered, and advance when ready.

Besides, he’d been cultivating non-stop for three months. A break might be beneficial. Not a long break—that would be inefficient—but perhaps a few weeks to explore the city, take so missions, experience what the Infinity Realm offered beyond constant cultivation.

He reached through his quantum link to his other self. In the multiverse, Aria was asking when she could visit the Infinity Realm.

"Soon, little one," his other self promised. "Father needs to reach Master level first. Then it will be safe for you and Mother to visit."

"How long will that take?"

"Not long. I’m advancing quickly."

"You always say that," Aria pouted.

"And I’m always correct."

Kaelen laughed. "She has you there, dear."

Elias smiled through the link. Soon. He’d bring them here soon. But first, he had a realm to explore properly.

Before he could relax, though, there was one practical matter: his mansion was in the Initiate district. Now that he was an Adept, staying there was... awkward.

It was like a college graduate living in a dorm. Technically allowed, but weird.

So Elias visited the Guild’s real estate division again.

The sa receptionist from before processed his request. "You want to sell your current mansion and purchase one in the Adept district?"

"Yes."

"Your timing is perfect. A Master just ascended beyond the realm—their mansion in the Pri Adept sector just beca available. It’s expensive, though. 5 million Essence."

Elias didn’t blink. "I’ll take it."

The receptionist’s liquid crystal form rippled. "You’re not even going to inspect it first?"

"Is it suitable for Adept-level cultivation?"

"It has three separate cultivation chambers, each with Master-grade arrays. The main chamber can dilate ti at a 10-to-1 ratio. It also has a personal training dinsion for combat practice."

"Perfect. Process the purchase."

"I... yes, sir."

An hour later, Elias owned a mansion that made his previous one look like a shed. It was located in the Pri Adept sector, surrounded by other Adept and low-level Master residences.

The building existed in ten dinsions simultaneously. The cultivation chamber contained a miniature Law Convergence Zone where Reality and Infinity Laws overlapped, creating ideal conditions for soone like him. The cultivation chambers were works of art—arrays carved by Masters, energy concentration that could support breakthrough to Sovereign level, and ambient Infinity Law so dense he could feel it just by standing in the entrance hall.

The mansion wasn’t just luxurious—it was conceptually optimized. The walls were constructed from Infinity Marble, a material that naturally resonated with Infinity Law, making comprehension of infinity law more efficient. Even the gardens grew Eternal Herbs that blood across infinite tilines simultaneously, each flower existing in countless states of growth at once.

"This is acceptable," Elias said to the empty mansion.

Then he set about moving his belongings—which consisted of cultivation resources, technique manuals, and a single picture of his family that he’d commissioned from a mory crystal.

The picture showed Kaelen, Aria, and both versions of himself, all smiling. It was illogical to keep such a thing—he had perfect recall and the quantum link—but Kaelen had insisted he display it sowhere.

He placed it on a shelf in his personal study. The only decoration in the entire mansion.

Perfect. Now he could focus on the next phase: actually experiencing life in the Infinity Realm rather than just cultivating through it.

Tomorrow, he’d visit the Guild and look at missions. Sothing interesting. Sothing that would let him explore.

But tonight, he’d rest. Even optimal efficiency required occasional downti.

He settled into the mansion’s master bedroom, checked his quantum link one last ti to ensure his family was safe, and closed his eyes.

For the first ti in years, Elias Vance slept without cultivating.

It was... nice.

Elias woke to sunlight—or rather, the Infinity Realm’s equivalent, which was a gentle glow of compressed probability that served the sa purpose.

He felt refreshed. Apparently, sleep was still valuable even for soone at his level.

A ssage array near his bed was blinking. He activated it.

"Congratulations on your advancent to Adept level! The Infinity Comrce Guild invites you to register your new rank and update your privileges. Please visit at your earliest convenience. - Guild Administration"

There was also a ssage from Vel’kora: "Heard you bought a mansion in Pri Adept sector. Fancy. Want to get tea and celebrate your advancent? My treat, since I won big betting on you. - V"

And finally, a formal notice: "An Adept-level cultivator has challenged you to a friendly spar. Ryx’mor of the Boundless Path Alliance wishes to test himself against the legendary ’Multiverse Destroyer.’ Response not required, but the challenge stands. - Arena Administration"

Elias read all three ssages and made a decision.

Tea with Vel’kora sounded pleasant. The Guild registration was practical and necessary. The challenge from Ryx’mor was... probably soone trying to make a na for themselves by fighting him.

He’d handle the Guild registration first, then et Vel’kora, then decide if the challenge was worth his ti.

Organization. Efficiency. Optimal ti managent.

So things never changed, no matter how powerful you beca.

He dressed, checked that his storage ring containing 39 million Essence was secure, and headed out into the Infinity Realm morning.

Ti to see what life as an Adept was really like.

And maybe, just maybe, find sothing interesting to do besides cultivating for once.

After all, he had his whole life—which was now effectively infinite—to reach Master level.

A few weeks of exploration wouldn’t hurt his progression.

Probably.
