Chapter 1353: I Have A Girlfriend
Li Qin was only in her forties and although she was slightly plump, her complexion was very well maintained, so she looked like she was only in her thirties.
She tugged at her son’s sleeves.
“Yixuan, do you still rember what I told you the previous ti?” Li Qin asked with a smile.
Mo Yixuan’s brows creased into a slight frown and turned to look at his mother in puzzlent.
“Mom, what are you talking about?”
Li Qin continued, “Rember when I said that your second aunt would like to introduce you to a girl? The girl has since returned ho, so I was thinking if I should ask your second aunt to set up a eting for both of you. She’s rather pretty with beautiful eyebrows and large eyes and cos from a good family. I’ve got a good feeling about her.”
Mo Yixuan’s expression darkened and a look of impatience flashed past his eyes.
“That’s enough, mom... I told you that I’m not interested in eting her nor getting to know her,” he said.
He didn’t know what was wrong with his mother recently and wondered why she was constantly trying to get him to et girls. Her actions were getting on his nerves.
Li Qin sighed and turned to glare angrily at her son.
“I’m just hoping that you’ll get married soon. Your dad’s health has deteriorated so he’d like to see you married and with a family of your own as soon as possible,” she said.
Mo Yixuan was left speechless. His mother had beco very fond of poking her nose into his affairs recently.
He wasn’t thinking about marriage at the mont.
“Yixuan, why don’t you go and et that girl? You could still be friends even if none of them end up catching your eye,” she said with a smile as she gave her son a pat on his arm.
She hoped that she would be able to have a grandchild of her own very soon.
Mo Yixuan frowned. He was getting more annoyed by his mother’s actions.
“Mom...” he said as he turned to look at his mother. He paused for a mont before he said, “I already have a girlfriend.”
Li Qin froze and asked in surprise, “Who?” She smiled in excitent but her smile quickly faded.
Her son had said that he didn’t have a girlfriend the last ti she asked, so how did he manage to get himself a girlfriend in a matter of ten days?
He was probably lying.
Her son was becoming more and more sly.
Mo Yixuan said, “She’s soone from the sa university.”
He thought about the petite girl who treated him very well and was very agreeable to everything he said. She was his first girlfriend.
Li Qin frowned in confusion.
“She’s from your university? Is she your classmate?” she probed further. She didn’t really trust his words.
Mo Yixuan shook his head and said, “No...she’s my junior at university.”
“Who are her parents? Did she grow up at Ye City?” she asked as her earlier confusion was replaced by excitent.
He was her only son and she had been hoping that he’d find himself a girlfriend after he ca back from the United States of Arica.
Mo Yixuan sighed in annoyance and wondered when his mother would stop nagging at him.
He couldn’t be bothered to respond to his mother, so he walked past her and headed straight downstairs while his mother stood rooted to the spot in the corridor, her excitent written all over her face.
He Xiyan stepped out of her apartnt and headed to an apartnt that was three kiloters away.
This was not a student apartnt but a residential apartnt and it was a high-end residential apartnt.
She wasn’t making a surprise visit since she had already called him earlier and told him that she would be heading to his apartnt that day.
She took out the keys that he had given her from his bag.
She didn’t want to move into his apartnt but she wanted to see what his apartnt looked like because she thought that the fastest way to get to know soone was through his residence.
