After Catherine had decided that she had eaten as much as she possibly could, we moved to my rooms.
It was a ti for her rest or ti for a very uncomfortable and long talk. So much had happened from my side and I did not even know what had happened with her. It had to be a long catch up on all of it and I knew that my sister was not going to be very very receptive to it.
It was going to be difficult for to put her back through everything as she would tell what happened to her in the past year, but I would have to make my sister do that. Otherwise, there was no possible way for to know anything.
It hurt my hurt to see my sister go to sothing so bad. She was still very young in comparison to and my elder sister which is why, it always made want to protect her and this was sothing I should have protected her from.
I took her to the bedroom that was beside mine. It would be Catherine’s decision if she wanted to stay the night with or not, but for now, I was putting her by herself.
"This is not how our Palace looked.." Catherine noted as she looked around my apartnt and then the room that she was in. "These are more.."
"The colors in the palace are much darker than what we had." I answered for her. "I noticed that the first ti I ca here as well."
"Ah, I see." she lowered her eyes, and then sat at the edge of the bed. Catherine looked at her feet while I moved to sit beside her. Marilyn took the small stool that was in front of the dresser in the room and sat beside .
Looking up, Catherine appeared to be mildly shocked that we were both looking at her. "What?" She asked. "Do I have sothing on my face? I cleaned it before going to the dining room."
"No, no, it is not that. We," I glanced at Maryln, "we just wanted to know how are you reached at the borders."
"Oh." She lowered her head. Keeping her eyes on her lap, she said, "I don’t think you would understand."
"Why would I not?" I chuckled, not understanding why in the world would my sister think that about ?
She tsked and shook her head. "You would think that I am lying."
"Catherine," I turned her face towards , "why would I not understand? No matter what you say, I am going to trust you. To benefit you, I know when you lie and I can tell that you are not lying to about this. So why don’t you just begin to tell what’s going on?"
She considered what I said, and I could feel it out. Want to tell about it. What could have happened that made my sister not trust with sothing so big? This was sothing that should be told to everyone, especially her elder sisters, but my sister did not trust enough to confide in .
If you did not trust , I felt obligated to believe that it was sothing that had to be related to Estelle. Had my sister said sothing to Catherine?
"Trust , my darling. Have I done anything to you but have made you think twice about my feelings for you?"
"No," she shook her head slowly. "But I don’t think you are going to trust on this, Evie. This is very big."
Marilyn shifted ahead in her seat. "It has to be very big, Princess. Otherwise how in the world would you be miles away from the palace?"
Marilyn’s words sowhat convinced Catherine. But only sowhat, because my sister still looked hesitant.
This did nothing but worry even more. What happened? That was constantly on my mind. What happened with my sister that made her not trust anyone?
"Please," I grabbed her hand, " if you do not tell what’s going on, I will never now, and if I never know, you will never receive Justice."
She licked her lips. "What if I don’t want to Justice?"
Dear god.
"Why?" I asked her. " Why do you think you do not deserve justice? Did you want to live in those conditions? If you want to stay in the constant threat of anything could happen where you were living and no one would blink twice in your direction? That was not the life you want to live Katharine, which is why the borders are not a place inhabited by many. So, tell what’s going on."
"I can’t!" She yelled, standing up and running out of the room, making and Marilyn follow. Before she could reach to the door, Marlyn was standing between her and it.
"What?" She stared at Marilyn and her before turning around to look at and then behind .
That was right.
Marilyn was behind but now she stood in front of the doors that Catherine was supposed to reach since she ran out of the bathroom first. She could not place the logic to why this had happened.
"We Have a lot to tell you as well Katherine. I will only tell you every thing that has happened with when you tell what’s going on with you." I stepped closer to her. " unless you do not want to know how that happened, you can stay quiet. Otherwise, walk back into the bedroom and tell everything right now."
"This is no longer a request, it is a command." I snapped, making her flinch.
I was done now. It was high ti that Katherine told about the hotel that has happened to her, and if she did not, I was not a bus from forcing her to do it.
She was my sister, but I was also the to be Queen of the country and her elder, and if I had to use my power to know everything then so be it.
