"I wanted to talk to you about lenmore but now I realize that it might be better if I do it in front of Tristan."

Annoyance and angle shot inside my body making glare at him. "You had brought here for nothing and now you tell I wanted to talk about my kingdom? Am I supposed to wait until he cos back?"

This was a waste of ti then. Dominique was not exactly soone I wanted to talk to, and he did not seem like soone I could trust with my eyes closed.

"Yes, you are supposed to wait until he cos back." He said rather cheekily. " I thought of having this conversation with you, Genevieve, but I think it will be better with Tristan here. His input matters more."

"I know more about my kingdom than anyone else here." I wave my hand back at the Palace. "There is no one who can give you the kind of information I can."

Dominique nodded with a hum. "Sir Reginald Walter can be very useful when he wants to be."

I halted imdiately, staring at his back as he moved forward. Sir Walter? He was participating in this?

Running after him to catch up, I asked, "where is he? Is he in the palace at the mont?"

"No." He shook his head. "Sir Walter is with your husband at the mont. Guiding him and telling him everything you should know about lenmore."

"But will he co into the palace?" I wanted to et him. It has been quite a long ti since I have seen him and talked to him. After what had happened, I had assud that I would never see him again.

"Maybe," he did not give a definite answer. "It depends on him and I have not asked walter anything yet."

How was it that she could start sothing and then say sothing completely different in the middle of it? He told about Sir Walter and then ended up giving almost nothing for information when I asked him.

"Then I think we can end our conversation here?" I turned to him as we walked. "since you have nothing more to say then idle chit chat to ."

"I am going to be your uncle in law soon, I think you should talk to about matters more regarding family that this."

Was he saying sothing that I did not understand? I felt like there was a hidden innuendo there.

"What do you want to talk about?" it felt like he was reaching the topic of conversation for which he had brought out here for.

"I want you to prepare yourself for saying goodbye to your kingdom. There is going to be no more talk about my kingdom anymore. This, Astria," he raised his hand towards the palace, " it’s going to be a ho country from now on. In front of anyone, I do not want to hear lenmore being called as your country by you. Is that understood?"

No, that was not understood. It was my country. It was my everything that I was sacrificing everything I had for. I was not about to give it up just because soone had asked to do it.

Seemingly, Dominick had caught my train of thoughts. He shook his head in warning. "I do not want a negative answer. It would not have a good impact."

"Impact on what? I am marry tristan so it’s not going to have an impact on anything." I had given him I would and I knew that Tristan was not going to back out of it.

Dominique stared at like he wanted to say a lot of things at the mont and was wondering what he should start with. He looked down at his feet before coming back at the palace, and then he murmured, "you are going to be the Queen of this palace soon and as I can see, there are a lot of things that you must learn. One of them, most importantly, is thinking of the consequences."

He turned to with dark eyes and I almost wanted to take a step back. "Just because you do not realise the consequences, does not an you challenge a situation because of it. They can arise any mont and anyhow."

He smiled politely. "Just like you challenged , that there are not going to be any hurdles because you said yes in marriage to my nephew, I do want to prove to you what I can do to make sure that your kingdom is not sent help before every thing is gone but I was refrain from doing it."

"Why?" He was not soone who was just going to do it out of the goodness in his heart.

"Because I want you to understand this as a lesson." He replied. "As an official queen in making, you must be aware what you are talking and to whom along with the impact it will have on every thing we have worked for."

I looked at the palace behind him. "You were instigating to do this."

He nodded without sha. "So will everyone else that is not us. Loyalty will not co easy to use and it involves humans. Do not take confidentiality granted."

Humans in comparison to vampires, according to him for people that was going to change their loyalties like that changed their clothes and he was not wrong about that.

I have seen it happen first hand when their loyalties of my people turned from my mother to my father because now he was the king and how they refrained from doing the sa for my sister.

He was not wrong in that and to was teach this lesson, Dominique had chosen to provoke until I did as he wanted.

He turned his head to the side for a minute before looking back at . "Your husband is here. Enjoy your night with him." With a slight bow, he left and was replaced by Tristan charging towards .
