Sir Walter did not specify on how he would be able to help that had just sent back. He felt that soone must be following for my security and if I was in the library for more ti than required it might raise more suspicions.

I retired that night to a dreamless and uncomfortable sleep. It was difficult at first but at the end of it I was deep asleep and almost dead to the world.

****

My eyes snapped open at the incessant shaking. I turned around to see a young girl standing beside my bed shaking my shoulder but retrieved her hand when she noticed that I was awake.

"I was told to wake you up," she whispered, "it is the middle of the night." She inford .

I stared at her with our eyes half filled with sleep and half filled with disbelief. "Why are you waking up then?" What was I supposed to do if that were the middle of the night?

She gulped and licked her lips. "The judgent," she whispered, "the king is about to pass his judgent." She gulped again.

It hit then. Tristan’s judgent. Sir Walter had sent her instead of coming here himself.

"Do you know where it is?"

She nodded. "The Grand courtroom. It is in the middle of the night and no one would be awake or outside the bedrooms."

That was enough for an explanation. No human would be awake in the middle of the night which made it perfect for them to start their reign of terror.

I nodded firmly, "Let us go then." If it was all very happening then I did not want to miss even a small mont of it.

She nodded and stepped away as I stepped out of the warm blankets. Hissing slightly as my feet touched the cold ground, I wrapped a shawl around as I wore my slippers.

"The servants’ hallways would be better." The girl whispered. "They won’t know."

Wouldn’t they? Sohow that sounded awfully dubious.

She took through a series of passages. Part of wondered how much access they were granted as the servants to the palace.

This was sothing I was definitely going to learn. I need to know where the passage went because it was certainly going to benefit .

If any date a situation arrived where my life was in danger, these passages could be used.

"Here," she whispered in front of a door, " this is one of the servants’ entrances to the courtroom. Fortunately for today everyone would be entering from the main entrance so we can sneak around."

Sohow staring at the door made rethink everything I was doing. This could change the way I looked at Tristan but it was also sothing that might be needed. I understood the lesson with Aaron and there might be a reason why Solomon had pushed Olivia to get punished by the king.

That was all I was doing it for. I was just doing it to know why she was getting punished.

I nodded to her and she open the door to the slightest degree and we pushed into it. Once I was inside she closed the door behind before grabbing my hand and gesturing to kneel slightly.

I would have questioned it or said no, but then my eyes went to what was in front of us.

Rows and rows of people were in front of us. By the clothes and dresses, I could tell that it was a uniform the staff mbers wore. She nudged and gestured to follow her. I stepped ahead and crouched down just as she told to.

She ended up kneeling down in front of the balcony. In the balcony which was made of bricks there was a long cavity in horizontal length but enough for us to see without making ourselves visible to everyone.

"Don’t talk," she whispered to and I nodded, taking her words seriously and effectively following them.

I waited for it to unfold. The anticipation of waiting for what was about to happen, my hands grabbed my dress tightly. I could feel the sweat coming in between my fingers and in my palm. I dropped my hands on my dress before gripping the fabric again.

The doors opened and certainly the entire courtroom changed.

Silence blanketed us all in thick waves that made it unbearable to breathe.

The atmosphere of the Grand courtroom changed and I felt the change happening. From the nervousness it had gone to complete fear.

It was then Tristan walked in with an army of n behind him. If I had never thought that Tristan behaved like a king with I was wrong. I could not have been more wrong.

His entire body screened the word power as he walked. With his head held high and his chin tilted upwards, he made it seem like he was the only one who was the most powerful one in the room. The crown that rested upon his head proved it to be true.

He strode to the throne and turned around as he sat down on it facing every servant that would in the palace.

That was all I could say. I could no longer see his face but could see his head and the crown that was on top of it.

I was unable to see his face. I knew by the looks of everyone he was the scariest man to look at. Even with the number of vampires present, Tristan; the king, appeared to be the scariest.

"I have heard rumours," he began and I gulped, "more rumours that I would like to hear about myself. Even more whispers in the hallway that my ears have caught and I do not like it."

No one spoke and everybody seed to be holding in their breaths like I did.

"With repeated warnings, it seems that you have failed to hear them." He chuckled and the sound was sothing I found to be haunting. "Which is why we have decided that it is ti to take a different course of action."
