I blinked in slight shock as I stepped back. Why was he smiling like that? I could not help myself as I found imdiate similarities in his smile and of the man who had taken advantage of .

"Tri-Tristan," I stamred but try to get a control on my words and my breathing, "why?"

Nodding, he smiled again, this ti it was the one that I loved. "Co here," he once again held out his hand and I grabbed it. The dungeons were an unruly place as a reminder that he was once in them and I would not mind having a support with right now.

It only made it certain that this ti I was not visiting him.

She walked us out of the dungeon with him successfully not allowing to look inside. Once we were outside I noticed that the lanterns were lit which gave the dungeon a good light for us to walk in.

But he took out to where the soldiers sat. He nodded at them and they left making the chairs empty for us to use as he made comfortably sit on one and then took the one in front of himself.

"Do we really have to co down here?" I asked, not giving him the chance to speak first. "Being in the dungeons with you does not bring happy mories."

He chuckled and lowered his head for a mont before raising it back up and smiling at , "Forget about those, princess. Those mories hold no place in your mind and heart."

I shook my head and gave him a sad smile. He had no idea what looking at him bleeding on the floor and unable to get up or even open his eyes felt like. "It is not possible for ."

He sighed longly before nodding his head and letting be with it. "Alright then," he took my hand in his and I made sure to glance at his hand and then his face. I glanced all the way to where his hand was connecting to his shoulder to make sure that it was his hand that was touching and nobody else’s.

". . . Genevieve?" A light squeeze ca on my hand jerking out of it.

"Yes?" I blinked repeatedly to get the haziness out of my eyes and looked at Tristan whose eyes had beco impassive again. "What happened?" Why was he hiding his emotions from now?

"How do you feel?" He asked sincerely.

"Fine?" I answered him back within monts. What was I supposed to say to that? I felt like everything had been taken away from in a matter of a night.

He shook his head, "Fine is not a feeling, my love."

My love? Hide the blushing cheeks!

Tears burnt into my eyes as I realised what I was doing. I was acting like a whore.

I lowered my head only to be brought back by his fingers on my chin.

Why was he doing this?

"I promised that I will let you go for today and tomorrow and only trouble you for eating. Now to get back on that promise the more quickly we finish is the quicker you can go back to solitary confinent of yours. Is that right?" I nodded, "then do you promise to answer honestly and as quickly as you can? I shall take any answer that arises in your mind when you hear the question."

I gulped and nodded nevertheless. I could refuse right?

"Do you rember what wrongs you have faced recently? The wrong that you know you did not deserve."

I nodded. I knew them.

"tell ,"

The gentle yet firm command had open my mouth and puke everything in front of him. "Everything." The first word was, "I did not deserve to be sold in a brothel and almost get . .. raped. I did not—I did not. . I got hurt! rilyn got hurt! rilyn’s dead! Because of and I don’t even know where Diwal is! The—then that man ca who allegedly told everyone and then I really got taken advantage of!" I heaved loudly. Nothing out of my mouth after that. I wanted to say but the jumble of words had caused a restriction in my throat and nothing passed out.

"Co here." I felt arms wrap around and I welcod the warmth and the familiar scent. I loved it, it soothed .

"Let it go." And I did.

I wailed loudly like a mad woman who had lost everything which I had. I had no friends with , I had no virtue with , I had nothing. I had no family remaining.

I was lost.

I had nothing to exist for and realisation only made cry harder than everything else. It hurt . It hurt more than I had ever gotten hurt and I had broken my bone once. That pain was in no comparison to the one I was feeling now.

"Wha-what am I going to do now?" I sniffed and closed my eyes as the tears slipped out again. They didn’t stop! "I feel like there is no route to go to. Everywhere I feel is a path restricted with sothing and I do not know what to do."

It just felt like I was standing in the middle of nowhere with darkness all around and if ever I saw the light then there was sothing that just restricted from going there.

I heard him sigh and he pulled away from slightly. He stayed at my face, making glance at the corner of the room and continue looking there. I knew I looked hideous.

Hidden leaned back and I leaned back into my chair. He picked up sothing from the table and put it in front of .

A mirror it was.

"This," he pointed to the person inside the mirror, "is you. And only you have the power to make yourself better."
