This fear was not of him, but for him.
Few may not understand what t ans to constantly be changing and evolving who you are from the root, while still keeping a asure of your true self alive.
Her father had lived a turbulent life, and he had transford from a mortal to a being whose true self was beyond comprehension, even to her, and she did not know how much more he could bear before it all beca too much.
Yet, she knew that the best she could do to help him was to reduce the burden on his shoulder as much as possible, and for this reason, she created the Field of Elysium.
Only soone like her who could see Existence in a way that stripped away all the fluff would be able to create a place like this, and after Elysium was created, Serathis began her next project, and it was about to be completed.
"Oh, that reminds , Father, you have not seen what I have been working on, let show you," she said with excitent in her eyes.
Eos smiled, "Let guess, it is related to trees."
Serathis paused, her eyes squinting in suspicion, and then she blushed, "Am I that obvious?"
Eos looked around the expansive garden of Elysium, filled with flowers, trees, and lazy streams, and he shrugged, "You were made from the essence of life and beauty itself... it was not such a hard guess, but Serathis, you are still a child, and with ti, you shall discover more of yourself than what I placed in you."
She rolled her eyes, "You still call a child when I am hundreds of millions of years old."
Eos flicked her forehead, "Even at a trillion, you will remain a child in my eyes," then he smiled, "At least, not until the day you get married."
Serathis' eyes widened, and then she gagged, before she frowned, her mouth opened to dispute his statent, then a naughty look entered her eyes, "Ok, I will get married, Father, but I will only do that if you do."
Coughing, Eos looked at the book in her hands, "So, show what you have been working on. You made Elysium nearly twenty million years ago, and since that ti, you have hardly moved from this place. Whatever you are working on must be truly special."
Serathis bead, and her eyes glowed like stars, the teasing of her father forgotten as she got excited to show him what she had been working on. She knew that Chronomanver Pri constantly went to their father for advice, and many tis, as she worked, she wanted to do the sa, but what held her back was the look of surprise and happiness she knew she would see in his eyes when she finished her project, and this made her push ahead.
Without the aid of her father, Serathis went for the next best thing, his Archai and that annoying Primordial Serene Ascension.
When Eos had ntioned marriage, Serathis could not help but think about this Primordial who always seed to forget himself when he was in her presence. To Serathis, it was not flattering, just annoying, and although she did not dislike the Primordial, especially when he was a great help to her, the idea of being with soone except to stay by the side of her father repulsed her.
Pairing and partnership were mortal concepts that had no sway over her, as she was not born a mortal, and the idea of passing along her genes or finding a partner was alien to her nature.
With her father's mortal roots that he still decided to keep, it was expected that sotis he thought about partnership, but Serathis abhorred the concept. Although she was not as arrogant as Pri, even the bloodlines of the Primordials did not attract her attention.
Pushing all of these random thoughts away from her head, Serathis showed her father the "book" she was holding. Made from her essence, it was a pathway to her mind and power, and if she were to give a Primordial this book, or even a mortal, they would be able to wield a portion of her power.
"I had this idea even before the creation of the Field of Elysium, but I could not go along with it because I did not have enough data on hand, so I created the Field of Elysium as a buffer during this period, and I have had the chance to research and perfect this work."
Eos was silent as his eyes went through what Serathis was proposing, and slowly his eyes began to light up. Even with his powerful consciousness, even though it was just a single strand, it took Eos almost three years to go through the complex arrangents she had made.
If he had wanted, he could have poured more of his consciousness into this strand so he could finish going through Serathis project much more quickly, but she was eager to point out details that he was not comprehending quickly enough, and noticing her excitent, Eos no longer looked at this as a project he wanted to go through but as a chance to spend ti with Serathis.
He had many regrets in life, and one of them was always rushing towards the next fight and not spending enough ti with the people he loved, when they were part of the reason he was fighting in the first place.
So eager he was to win that he had forgotten how to live. After three years and a lot of talk and laughter, Eos finished comprehending the project Serathis had been working on, and he could not help but sigh in amazent. "This... is fascinating," he murmured, "You have solved a problem that I had brushed aside as a normal price for reaching the level of a Primordial." Turning to look at her, he laughed, "With this creation, is it possible that soday in the distant future, there would be a ti when everyone could beco Primordials?"
Serathis rolled her eyes in happiness, "You know that is not possible, Father. This might ease the burden, but it would not take the place of talent or effort." "Still, I can be assured that there would be more Primordials being born before the battle begins. Have you thought about na for this creation, Serathis?" "You know, I have not even thought about it to that extent, let see... it is a formation that would ensure a Primordial Candidtate survive, even if they failed their tribulation, let us call it... the Destiny Anchor Formation."
Eos paused, the na of this formation teasing his mind and bringing forth old
mories.
"That is a good na... Destiny's Anchor. So this ans you are pursuing the fifth layer of Destiny, Serathis?"
She nodded with seriousness flashing in her eyes, "Pri may be stubborn, but he has a point. After a certain point, our abilities beco useless to you, Father, and unless we push past the limit of what we are capable of, we would be left behind." She smiled, "But unlike him, I see no reason why I cannot be helping you when pursuing the limits of Destiny... this path, I alone can take, as no Primordial can walk this road, at least, that Primordial is yet to be born."
