Chapter 297: Chapter 297 – Vivian Shaw

Robin’s face contorted slightly, whether from the pain of his injury or from sheer annoyance, Sabrina couldn’t quite tell.

Her instincts of jealousy imdiately kicked in, and she couldn’t help but snap,

"Excuse , can’t you see that he’s injured?"

The woman slowly rose to her feet and locked eyes with Sabrina before taking hold of Robin’s left hand and pouting,

"What is your ex-wife doing here? I ca to take care of him."

She had harbored a crush on Robin for a long ti, but due to his marriage, she never had the opportunity to confess her feelings before moving to Britain.

However, they had managed to maintain communication due to business ties.

When she heard about the divorce a few weeks ago, she hastily wrapped up her affairs in Britain and made her way to the hospital, hoping to finally express her intentions.

Instead, she found Robin’s ex-wife sitting there, smiling at him as if they were newlyweds.

Robin felt a throbbing headache building up from the annoyance caused by her presence and proximity.

He couldn’t help but question her,

"Since when did we beco friends or family that my personal matters began to concern you?"

The woman was taken aback by Robin’s sudden coldness and indifference towards her.

Robin had flirted with her a few tis when he was married, but she was not soone who gave attention to married n, so she ignored him.

Now that she was trying to make her intentions known, Robin was treating her like a stranger.

"Robin, I never saw you as just a business partner. I was only reluctant because you were married," she said, hoping to clear the air.

Robin was upset, hoping that Sabrina would not be angry with him.

They had discussed this before, and she had promised to trust him.

"That is how I have always seen you. Work hours are over. Please excuse us," Robin said in the sa cold and indifferent tone.

The woman was shocked and embarrassed, as he was talking to her that way in the presence of his ex-wife.

"Robin..." she started to say, but he cut her off.

"I don’t want to repeat myself, and I don’t want you to co anywhere near my private life. Our relationship ends with business," Robin said sternly.

His words hit the woman like rocks.

Feeling humiliated, she glared at Sabrina before storming out of the ward in anger. Daniel rushed in imdiately.

"God, Robin, that chick would not listen when I told her you wouldn’t want to see her," he said apologetically, hoping that things were not ruined between Robin and Sabrina because of the woman.

Robin couldn’t bla anyone but himself for the situation he found himself in.

These were the consequences of his past actions. This woman, Vivian Shaw, had never shown him any attention before, but now that things were improving between him and Sabrina, she suddenly appeared.

"I understand. I know her."

Daniel gazed playfully at Sabrina and Robin smiled confidently, his gaze locked on Sabrina before saying again,

"She isn’t upset. She trusts . Don’t you, my queen?" He looked lovingly at Sabrina, who smiled shyly before responding,

"I trust you, but what is her na?"

"Vivian Shaw. She is just a business partner, nothing more," Robin honestly explained. Sabrina smiled and said,

"I believe you."

Robin’s heart ward, and despite the pain he was trying to hide, he couldn’t forget the passionate kiss Sabrina had given him before his surgery. It lingered in his mind and he could have asked for more if Daniel wasn’t there.

Daniel was thrilled that things had not only improved between Robin and Sabrina but also their trust in each other.

"Robin, I think I’ll go ho and shower. Lizzy is coming with ," Daniel announced.

Sabrina rembered sothing and asked Daniel,

"Oh, can you ask Lizzy to pick up so clothes for

before she leaves?" Daniel frowned

slightly, not wanting any more delays since he missed Lizzy so much after their interrupted date.

"Your father is here, so I will ask Matilda to bring them to you since the mansion is closer," he suggested.

However, Robin shook his head, knowing that he didn’t want to make that U-turn, and accused him,

"Dan, you’re being an."

Daniel, determined not to give in to Robin’s request, replied,

"Devin and Matilda. I will inform them both," he shrugged and left.

Just as Robin was about to make a call, he rembered sothing and said to Sabrina,

"I know you want to see your father, but let

make this call first."

Curious, Sabrina asked, "Who are you calling?"

Robin didn’t hesitate to reveal his plan,

"The general. I saved his na as ’uncle’."

Sabrina scrolled through his contact list and dialed the number saved as ’uncle.’

After three rings, the general answered and asked directly, "Robin, are you feeling better?"

Robin replied, "Yes, uncle, but I wanted to ask, are Mara and Martin already dead?" Robin hoped he hadn’t missed out on the excitent, and luckily, the general responded,

"No. Everyone deserves a piece of them, including Sabrina and Matilda. They have to decide what we do with them, so I’m waiting for you to recover."

Robin was relieved, but he knew how compassionate Sabrina was. He hesitated before saying, "Won can be too soft."

Before the general could respond, Sabrina interrupted, her tone serious,

"I’m not as soft as you think in this matter. I want to witness the torture, and I’ll be there with Matilda."

However, Robin couldn’t help but feel that she was only saying this because she had no idea how far the general was willing to go in the na of torture.

Before he could relay Sabrina’s ssage to the general, he interjected, "I heard her."

Robin pursed his lips and added, "The person who gave

the information in Moscow wants to see her before he leaves for South Africa in two days."

"No problem. I’ll send you the location where we’re keeping them, but you should have soone you trust with him, and I’ll have my n nearby," the general responded, indicating his lack of imdiate trust in the guy.

Robin understood the general’s reservations and agreed to the arrangent.

"Thank you, uncle," he said gratefully as Sabrina ended the call. She imdiately went to open the door and embraced her father before letting him in.

When Cobby saw Robin, he smiled and remarked, "Robin, it seems you’ve captured the hearts of every woman. There’s another one waiting for you."
