The resemblance in both Daniel’s face and Adam’s face when they are delivered an insulting blow is quite strong and comical.
Adam was looking at like I had punched his gut. It took him a full minute to recover from the punch.
By that ti, I had already taken two steps backward, my eyes darting to the lightened entrance in case I needed to make a head run away from this monster, in case he decided to get physical.
He didn’t.
"Why did you say that? Are you calling a shit?" He asked rather, still looking perplexed. I’m sure he isn’t used to being dissed by a girl.
"At least you aren’t dumb." I muttered, aware that he could hear . "As I ntioned before, I don’t have the ti for a chit chat. But if you are looking for soone to warm your bed tonight, then find soone else. Although, I will suggest you freshen up your mouth first, it slls like fish and garlic. Not a good combo if you ask ." I stated nonchalantly, folding my arms across my chest, a smirk threatening to break out on my lips when I saw the unbelief nestled on his face, an unbelief which shifted to amusent in a very short span.
He was beginning to find the jab amusing.
Does he think that I am here to joke around?
"Wow, you really don’t like , or my brothers. I am not sure why. But if we have ever done sothing to you, maybe in the past years, I hope that you forgive us. We are better now, not young boys that worried about giving mischief always." Adam ntioned, rocking on his heels.
I scoffed once, then twice, before chuckling drily. Nice try I must say.
"I see. .if you say so. You are forgiven." I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"Thank you, Dora. I really appreciate it." He answered, giving a mock bow, that was supposed to make a smile, but I kept a stoic face, not bothered to make an effort to humor him. I wasn’t a clown.
He must have noticed the non smiling face for he straightened to his full height, and ruffled his hair in frustration.
I smiled then. Good. I was giving him a hard ti. Well, he wouldn’t see what was coming soon.
"I am trying here." He muttered.
"Didn’t ask you to try. Can I be going now?" I asked, already turning to leave, except that he held by the arm, and drew to himself without preamble, such that my back landed squarely on his chest.
Sensing the compromising position, I tried to turn away, but he held put, with his hand around my waist, then sunk his mouth to my neck like a vampire would.
However he didn’t bite, rather he dropped a kiss there. "Let in, stranger. Don’t fight it." He breathed into my neck whilst I struggled to get away from his arms.
The strength he used to hold down was beginning to tether on forceful and made wonder if he was going to rape at this point.
The thought had shaking intermittently whilst I struggled to get out. Yet, try as hard as I may, I was stuck in his arms.
"Stop struggling stranger, you are turning my little man on. You wouldn’t want that now, would you? Because if it goes up, you alone will have to make it co down. That would be your responsibility. Do you want that?" He asked, dropping another kiss on my neck.
I shivered, but not out of the effect of his kiss, but rather of disgust. The guy was a scum.
I needed to play this out for now, but once I get back to the community, I am prepping Laura to dig out my magic potentials and teach magey things, so that I wouldn’t be this helpless.
I couldn’t even move, and with the way I am acting, he might figure that I have no magic.
"You don’t have magic right? That’s why you left your community to explore the country. Is that right?"
I sighed, just what I was thinking. Now he would know that I am helpless.
Thanks to the pill I wasn’t going crazy yet.
"Answer , stranger. You don’t want to deal with an angry prince. I think I have had enough of your back and forth. I know that you want -stop playing hard to get." He whispered in that down tune, biting my neck softly, then sucking the spot.
However, I remained as stiff as a rod, not reacting at all to the touch that was sending sparks down my spine. Of course my body will rember.
"Yes, that’s true." I muttered, left with no choice, again.
The thought brought tears to my eyes. I can’t afford to be abused by the sa people twice.
"Ah, I thought as much. So, why did you co back?" He asked, his hands roaming around my stomach, sweeping higher with every nanosecond.
I held my tongue, I held my breath. I wouldn’t give him the fat chance to boast. I will die before I will moan because of his touch.
"My aunt called back. She thinks she has a cure."
At my reply, there was a minute silence as if he was pondering on the answer.
His next question threatened to knock the air out of .
"Do you think her cure could work for a wolfless person?" He asked this steely, his hand that had been gaming to reach my breast, falling back to my waist, as if suddenly disinterested.
"I..am..not sure." I croaked out, wetting my lips, wondering why he was asking this.
Was there another wolfless girl in the pack, that had taken my place, another wolfless girl that was subject to their bullying, who maybe has gotten his attention, so much so that he cared enough to ask for a cure to her malady?
The thought didn’t sit right with . I didn’t stop to think about that. "Are you having issues with your wolf." I asked rather, testing the lines.
I felt him shake his head. "No, I don’t. It is for an old friend. She is not around any more though."
I stilled, partly because I was reminded freshly of their wickedness and partly because I was seeing Noah and Daniel walking toward us.
