At the height of noon, the little Taoist, Qing Hai, opened the large doors of the Taoist Temple, holding a long sword, braving the fierce sun outside, he huffed and puffed as he practiced his swordsmanship.

During his practice, this little Taoist would occasionally gaze longingly into the interior of the Taoist Temple.

The interior of this temple was like a different world compared to the outside.

Outside, the fierce Yang scorched the Earth, making people wish they could shed several layers of skin. Inside the Taoist Temple, however, it was cool and clear without a trace of scorching heat; only a refreshing breeze wafted back and forth as if it were another world.

Of course, this other world was off-limits to the little Taoist for the next six hours. His master had caught him being careless during sword training earlier and had punished him to practice outside for six hours. He could not enter the temple until he had completed the training.

If he did not practice diligently enough, he also would not be allowed inside the temple.

"Little Taoist, with your lack of focus, I am afraid you could practice for another twelve hours and still gain nothing,"

A gentle teasing voice, like a refreshing breeze, soothing and cool, made the sweat-drenched little Taoist feel as if he had drunk from a pot of cool mountain spring, refreshing both body and mind.

Yet the little Taoist suddenly tensed up and, holding his long sword, shouted sharply, "Who?"

The tip of the sword moved precisely in the direction of the voice. In that mont, the little Taoist was no longer the sweaty and disheveled figure from before. His sword montum was poised, and his body was like a cheetah ready to pounce, filled with a fierce energy.

Although the Ten Thousand Poison Sect did not venture beyond Shu Province, it was dominant and tyrannical within the province, and its disciples road unrestrained.

Moreover, Shu Province was located next to the chaotic Western Regions and was a necessary passage to the Western Regions. Often, many who had caused troubles in the Central Plains and could not stay there passed through Shu Province on their way to the Western Regions.

There were also many from the Western Regions who would co to Shu Province to stir up trouble; thus, Shu Province was not a peaceful place.

Although the Taoist Temple was located in a remote area, because of its remoteness, it often attracted various nefarious beings. The little Taoist, having encountered many of these, had naturally beco cautious.

His sword had also tasted blood.

The tip of the long sword pointed toward the source of the voice. But shockingly, there was no one there; it was as if the words spoken earlier were uttered by a ghost.

This sight caused the little Taoist’s eyes to narrow, and he slowly stepped backward.

With his worldly experience not being shallow, the little Taoist naturally did not regard this anomaly as the work of ghosts. There were no genuine ghosts in this world, only people pretending to be ghosts. This was what his master had taught him, and the little Taoist always rembered it by heart.

However, soone pretending to be a ghost in such a traceless manner was undoubtedly far stronger than himself. Seeing the situation, the little Taoist quietly retreated to protect himself, leaving it to his master to handle the matter.

But just as he was cautiously about to shift his gaze to observe elsewhere, a figure appeared where there should have been no one.

With white eyebrows and white hair, wearing a lotus crown and a purple and white Taoist robe, he truly looked the part of a hermit from another world.

Seeing this, the little Taoist beca even more cautious, his hostility toward this mysteriously appearing person clear to see.

So people, despite appearing virtuous, might harbor vile intentions inside.

His master had spoken these words and had specifically warned him to be wary of Taoists with such an appearance. The little Taoist did not know why his master, being a Taoist himself, spoke ill of other Taoists, but he always believed his master was right.

"Who are you, exactly?" the little Taoist Qing Hai demanded sternly.

"Guest, a guest who ca out of admiration," said the figure, carrying the air of an otherworldly expert, with a smile.

"I don’t recall Tianzhen Temple ever inviting such a guest," ca the cool reply. Dressed in a green Daoist robe, the temple master appeared at the door, scrutinizing the uninvited visitor.

With the appearance of this person, the external fiery climate suddenly beca moderate in temperature, with a gentle breeze flowing as if from nowhere. It held the warmth of a spring breeze and the freshness of an autumn wind.

Where he stood, he created a blessed land. Although the temple master hadn’t reached the stage of creating a blessed land, his internal intentions influenced the external environnt, demonstrating the depth of his Realm.

"Master," said the little Taoist Qing Hai in a soft voice as he ran to stand behind the temple master.

"I am Qing Yu. While passing through Shu Province, I heard that there was an expert from Zhenwu Sect stationed here, so I specifically ca to visit," Qing Yu said, bowing deeply.

"Qing Yu..." The temple master murmured the Daoist na, his eyes flashing with complexity.

Indeed, it was a nostalgic na.

However, that nostalgia was fleeting. The temple master’s expression suddenly turned stern. "Since you know who I am, you shouldn’t deliberately use that na to provoke !"

With the changes in the temple master’s intentions, the surrounding area suddenly beca harsh and cold, as if a biting wind had swept through, chasing away the heat.

Moreover, there was a somber force, slowly pressing through the air from all directions.

Suddenly, the environnt from all sides was dominated by the opponent, invisibly repelling and suppressing Qing Yu.

However, Qing Yu seed indifferent. With a relaxed expression and no sign of tension, he still smiled lightly, feeling the situation around him, and said, "Xuanwu Sea Control, White Tiger Slaughter World, and previously Qing Feng, Daoist Xuan Shang, your Four Symbols Ultimate Skills have integrated into nature and almost reached Great Success with three already. You just need to rge the Vermilion Bird Burning Sky Technique, and you could ascend to the True Pill Peak, attempting to break through to the Martial Arts Divine Realm."

Xuan Shang watched the white-haired Taiost’s ease and couldn’t help but feel secretly amazed.

Though he had not yet made a move, he had driven his montum to the extre. In such a situation, the other seed to rge with nature, elusive and omnipresent, nowhere could force be applied. The oppressive aura on him was like beating at air, completely ineffective.

What kind of master would use another person’s na to provoke him?

Xuan Shang was a bit perplexed.

Yet such shaless masters were not uncommon. Like that Sect Leader of Zhenwu Sect, he was a prominent example, so Xuan Shang was not surprised.

Thus, the situation around them grew even more ominous, a murderous intent fernting. Moreover, a strong Fla Power began to rise, attempting to join this sowhat mismatched aura.

"Take it easy, take it easy," Qing Yu swept his horsetail whisk, his eyes deep, his presence increasingly ethereal, making Xuan Shang’s Qi chanism unable to lock on, "Daoist Xuan Shang, I truly am nad Qing Yu. This was bestowed by my master. It is not easy in this life, and coincidentally having the sa na as your late disciple, truly is just a coincidence."

Hopefully calling him ’Daoist’ was correct. Hope the old ghost master wouldn’t leap out of his coffin.

"A coincidence?" Seeing Qing Yu continue to insist on this na, Xuan Shang also thought that if the other was doing this, it was sowhat unnecessary.

Hence, Xuan Shang’s expression eased slightly, but welcoming Qing Yu was still impossible.

"Coincidence or not, Tianzhen Temple does not welco such an uninvited guest." Xuan Shang flicked his sleeve, turned around, and was about to reject Qing Yu from entering.

"What if I say, I have a way to unveil that hypocritical mask of your brother from the Dao?"
