The vast expanse of the Inheritance Space found a silhouette, which glowed black tinged with red, soaring into the sky. It unfurled its small black wings, gliding unpredictably in all directions within.
"Your observational skills are really keen, to easily notice that my hearing is impaired. Could this be animal instinct..." Surrounded by the erratic gliding path of the black and red figure, Qing Yu scanned his surroundings, murmuring to himself.
With the new month starting, Qing Yu pulled another Character Card. And this ti, the Character Card was:

A mber of the assassin organization "Reverse Sand" from the Qin Dynasty era, Hidden Bat. Clad in a black bodysuit full of fleas’ vigor, and wrapped in red floating ribbons, if it weren’t for his appearance being so displeasing, he could very well compete with Mr. Wei in the simplistic Gotham City for a spot.

The advantage lies in the Inheritance Space being a blank white expanse where Hidden Bat, as he is not a guarding boss, doesn’t qualify for the system to provide him the necessary environnt. Hidden Bat excels at suppressing his own lust for killing, capable of lying in wait for a long ti to murder. Specializing in the "Bat Blood Technique" gave Hidden Bat survivability far beyond an ordinary person; he could lie in wait without food or drink for seven continuous days.
However, this all-white space offered nowhere conducive to his talents. Moreover, as a side effect of the "Bat Blood Technique," Hidden Bat had beco a half-man-half-bat creature, which made him very uncomfortable in the bright space of the Inheritance Space.
As for his disadvantage, it’s naturally the discovery that his hearing is flawed. Hidden Bat’s movent technique is mysterious, but his speed is slower than Qing Yu. The fight should have been one-sided but beca unpredictable once Qing Yu’s hearing issue was exposed.
After all, even the strongest eyesight is limited to a 180-degree field of vision, unable to see what’s behind. Hidden Bat relied on continuously circling to his rear to bind Qing Yu and drag out the fight.
But even in such a dire situation, Qing Yu still did not unblock his sealed hearing. The more dangerous the situation, the more it propelled his potential, improving his eyesight and bodily reactions.
Furthermore, the technique Qing Yu used to block his hearing originated from annotations on the "Yin Runes Scripture" by masters of the Yin Yang technique from Yin Yang Family records. What’s more, in the Inheritance Space, death wasn’t really death, and a bit of pain from dying in exchange for progress was worth it.
As for the consequences of failing the challenge, with the Character Card disappearing—frankly, Qing Yu didn’t highly regard Hidden Bat’s Martial Arts. The "Bat Blood Technique," which transford oneself into a half-man-half-bat creature, wouldn’t be chosen by any sane person.

Despite the lack of a suitable environnt to hide, Hidden Bat still proved his endurance, hiding his full speed from Qing Yu, leading to an underestimation.
The strike ca in the blink of an eye; Hidden Bat’s hooked claws had already reached before Qing Yu’s neck, and soon, enticing blood was about to gush forth, as Hidden Bat’s lips curled into a sinister smile.
However, an embarrassing incident occurred—the sharp hook, just before touching the blood vessels of the neck, was blocked by an extrely soft and Yin Gang Qi.
The Gang Qi seed endless, dissolving every bit of the Qi Force of the Hidden Bat that clung to his hooks until nothing remained.
Even though his True Qi Realm surpassed Qingyu, in terms of the quality and quantity of True Qi, the Hidden Bat was no match for Qingyu, who practiced "Qi Dual Flow" with double the power of the Innate Sixth Layer. With full protection, Qingyu could stand still, unhard.
After a fruitless strike, the Hidden Bat quickly retreated to await another opportunity. His attack was blocked by Gang Qi, but the Hidden Bat did not believe the enemy’s Gang Qi could protect him forever. A passive defense was bound to fail eventually; he did not believe Qingyu’s True Qi was limitless.
"How disappointing," said Qingyu slowly turning around.
In that mont, although Qingyu knew he would be hit, he did not feel the slightest inkling of facing death. The Hidden Bat’s attack could not concern the protective power of the "Innate Gang Qi" and was thus unable to bring a crisis to Qingyu. This also was the biggest reason why Qingyu’s spiritual sense had not promptly noticed the Hidden Bat’s surprise attack.
After all, who would feel anything for an attack that couldn’t possibly harm them?
"I thought you could bring enough pressure to help improve, but it seems I was mistaken."
He did not choose to drop his "Innate Gang Qi" and fight the Hidden Bat—it would be aningless. Deliberately creating a death threat and facing a real crisis, the two brought very different senses of pressure. Moreover, Qingyu had already held back.
With killing intent settled, Qingyu True Energy circulated, displaying the true speed of his superior movent technique.

His figure vanished, and at the sa ti, an invisible palm print aid at the top of the Hidden Bat’s skull from behind.
However, the palm was preemptively dodged by the Hidden Bat, as if he had anticipated it.
Interesting, bat’s hearing?
Qingyu noticed that before his attack, the Hidden Bat’s sharp, bat-like ears twitched, probably using his hearing to detect Qingyu’s movent.
Bats can detect obstacles precisely in the dark by relying on superior hearing. Undoubtedly, the half-man, half-bat Hidden Bat possessed such hearing as well.
But this only delayed the Hidden Bat’s demise; it didn’t really remove him from danger.
Qingyu shadowed him closely, never letting the Hidden Bat out of his sight. If the range of vision is limited, then simply don’t let him escape that range.
"Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms," one palm after another, each more powerful than the last, each palm directly threatening the Hidden Bat’s life. "Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms" is known as "The World’s Number One Palm," not because of its extre yang and hand power, but because of its profound principle of "excessively inexhaustible." Every move leaves spare force, and each palm connects continuously without end.
Combined with the enduring effects of "Qi Dual Flow," Qingyu could pursue the Hidden Bat and execute "Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms" for an entire day.
In the end, it did not take a whole day for the Hidden Bat to die under Qingyu’s palm. Exceptional hearing could only let him detect Qingyu’s attacks in ti, but could not compensate for the difference in speed.
A great disparity makes detection of an attack irrelevant. If the body cannot keep up, one is still dood to be struck.
And so, the Hidden Bat died.
