Chapter 19: Chapter 19 - Alpha king for a reason
He took a long deep breath and nodded. "If you ca to the blue moon pack in your wolf form, then from where did you get this car?" I asked him, and he stretched his hands behind his back, making his muscles flex. I instantly removed my gaze from him and gulped... {damn, he should stop distracting }
He chuckled and again shook his head. "It is Alpha Aiden’s. When we reach the crescent moon, others have to leave for the blue moon, so they will deliver his car back to him," he explained, and I nodded.
"Are you hungry?" I asked him, and he groaned.
"You said that was the last question," he said and practically whined.
"I am hungry," I said to him and looked at the map. "We are only fifteen minutes away from McDonald’s," I told him, and he took a deep breath.
"Fine," he said, and I don’t know if I heard it correct or not, but I heard a soft mutter {’my remaining life is going to be more adventurous’}
After fifteen minutes, I parked our car in the parking lot "get up, sleepyhead," I tried to wake up dee.
"Two more minutes," he mumbled.
"Fine, I am eating your burger then" as soon as he heard this, he opened his eyes wide and looked around, then slowly sat and rubbed his eyes.
"I want a cheeseburger, chocolate shake, and fries," he mumbled in his sleep.
"Get up, dee, we are going inside, then you can eat whatever you want" I went to the back seat and raised him to wake him up while he whined and pouted.
"Please addy, I was not able to sleep at night. Let
sleep for so ti," he said cutely, and no matter how much I wanted him to eat the food right now, I couldn’t ignore his cute request. I let him sleep on the back seat and kissed his forehead.
Alpha king was waiting for us. "Where is Diego?" he asked .
"He is sleeping, and I can’t make him co out, as today he is in his cute mode," I told him and started walking towards McDonald’s.
"But we can’t leave him alone there," he said, and I smiled.
"Yeah, that’s why you are staying here. I will grab so food for all three of us," I said to him, and he took a deep breath.
"At least you can ask
what I wanted to eat," he said and looked at
pointedly.
"What else does a werewolf want besides at?" I said this in a whisper as I knew we had many humans around us, but he heard it, and a sexy smirk ca on his lips. He smiled and mouthed, ’be quick’... I went inside, and as soon as I got the orders, I paid the bill and ca outside. I went near him, and he quickly took a few packets from . I placed the remaining packets and shakes on the car’s hood. I was about to go to dee and wake him up, but Alpha stopped .
"I already tried to wake him up, and I have to accept that he is in his cute mode," he said, and I huffed.
"Fine," I told him and went towards him. We unwrapped our burgers and started eating them.
"I have to et soone before we reach the crescent moon," he said, and as my mouth was already full, I nodded and continued munching. He kept silent for a few minutes, then looked at . "Don’t you want to ask so questions?" I looked at him and gestured to wait as my mouth was still full. He waited for , and I gulped the food without chewing it properly.
"I told you to wait, not to ogle ," I said to him, and he rolled his eyes, "and for your question, yes, I wanted to ask you many things, but the question is would you want to answer my questions?" I asked him, and he took a deep breath.
"That depends on your question," he said and took a massive bite from his burger... {He even looks sexy when he eats} ... I removed my gaze from him.
"Who is that person?" I asked him, and he looked around carefully, then turned his head towards , and instantly my eyes fixed on his lips, specifically on the lower lip, which had a little ketchup on it. I gulped and tried to collect my thoughts when he mouthed ’a witch’.
At first, I could not understand anything as the distraction was extra distracting for , but when I finally understood, I got shocked. Instantly he took a few steps toward
and raised his hand to shut my mouth, but before he did so, I took a step backward.
"I am not going to shout in excitent," I said, and he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"I was expecting that you would do this," he said awkwardly, and I could see the slight shade of pink on his cheeks.
"Well, I can understand why you didn’t say it out loud" he nodded and acted like he was observing everything around. I also didn’t say anything because I am actually glad to ignore that sexy distraction. After we had eaten our food and I had saved Dee’s food from that giant man with a black hole, I went back to the driver’s side, but he stopped .
"What?" I asked him, and he rolled his eyes.
"Didn’t I tell you that we have to go sowhere? I don’t think you know the route," he said, and I rolled my eyes. I went towards the passenger side and hopped inside. Dee is still sleeping, and we have already given up on waking him up as he is in his cute mode today.
"What are the witches like?" I asked him.
After a long deep breath and his ’here we go again’ "like living beings," he said, and I rolled my eyes as he used my words.
"You are taking dee near a witch, I think I have every right to know about her more than this," I told him and gave him a pointed look, and he chuckled.
"You have killed vampires and werewolves... and here, don’t ignore the ’s.’ You are not afraid of pulling the leg or ordering the alpha king himself, and yet you were afraid that a witch could hurt Diego when you are with him," he pointed, and I rolled my eyes.
"We are talking about dee, Alpha. I don’t think I can take any risks in his case" he rolled his eyes but started stating the basic details.
"I am just telling you this because you are concerned about dee; you are not allowed to talk about her to anyone," he warned seriously, and I nodded "she is the one who always helps us when we got in so trouble where witches and warlocks are involved," he said to , and I nodded.
"So, you deal with those supernatural creatures also," I said in amusent, and he laughed out loud, and I don’t think I have to point out how the little things connected with him are affecting . "What’s so funny, alpha?" I asked him, and after five minutes, he steadied himself.
"You are asking the alpha king himself if he deals with supernatural creatures, and the hilarious thing is your excitent in questioning this," he pointed, and yeah, fine, I actually felt very foolish right now. He again started laughing at my expressions, and I waited for him to stop, but when he didn’t, I finally interrupted him.
"Fine, I knew that it was stupid, but it was not that funny," I said sternly, and he nodded while chuckling and nodding.
"Sure," he said, and I rolled my eyes.
"So where does that witch of yours live?" I asked him.
"An hour’s drive from here. Why don’t you wake up Diego now? I think he needs to have his breakfast before we reach there," he said, and I took a deep breath.
"I think I have to do it differently," I told him, and he scrunched his eyebrows "my voice is not enough to wake him up now" I unbuckled the seat belt, and he looked at
questioningly, "just don’t get distracted by our .. umm.... nuisance" with it I stood from my seat.
"Careful, Aadhya," he said and took hold of my hand, and instantly, I felt the tingles while his eyes were still on the road.
"It’s alright," I said to him and tried to get rid of his hold, not because he was hurting
or sothing, but because of the feeling I was feeling towards him.
"Careful," he said and left my hand, but he slowed the car. I smiled at this and sat on the back seat near Dee’s feet. He is still sleeping soundly... {he indeed did not sleep properly yesterday} ...
I started tickling his feet, and after a few seconds, he began to reciprocate. When he was a little awake, I started tickling him everywhere, and finally, after many warnings from the Alpha of ’be careful and a lot of laughter from dee, I succeeded in waking him up.
"That was fun, addy," dee turned and put his head on my lap.
"Nah, young man, you are not allowed to sleep. Your food is already cold, and I am not giving you more ti to sleep," I told him, and he gave
a toothy grin but finally got up and sat like a good boy. I gave him all the things that he wanted to eat, and like every ti, he blabbered yet another dream that he had of another fairyland. After a few minutes, Alpha turned the car towards a human town, but as I didn’t know anything about witches, I didn’t ask him any questions and participated in senseless talking with dee. After half an hour, he parked the car in front of a house. I can only see trees on the other side of the wall and nothing else... {Is there a house?}
"I think we will wait here," I told him while clutching Dee’s hand in mine, and the Alpha looked at
pointedly. "I knew your business here is a little secret, so don’t you think it will be great if we stay in the car?" I tried to make him understand, and he rolled his eyes.
"She is a living being, and that also an old one. I don’t think she can hurt Dee, and if you are still unsure, then I will go first, and you can follow . If you want, then take your silver knives with you," he said and opened the door for us. I took a deep breath, ca out of the car, and Dee ca after .
When we entered the main door, I realized that many trees were planted along with the boundary, which hid the house perfectly from outsiders. On my right side, a greenhouse is built; on the left side, many colorful flowers are planted. In between, there is a path leading toward a small but cozy house. Dee beca very excited when he saw so many different types of flowers and butterflies, and I had to stop him from running there. Alpha went towards the house and rang the doorbell, and to our surprise, the door opened itself. I stopped at the sa place, and Alpha entered the house, but when he realized we were not following him, he stopped and turned.
"Co on, won, Am I looking like a serial killer to you? I am a fucking alpha king for a reason," he again said his famous line, and a small smile ca on my face... {let’s try to trust him} ...
"It will be better if you will not be a serial killer alpha, or my silver knife will pierce your heart in a second without thinking that you are THE ALPHA KING FOR A REASON," I said, and he chuckled.
"Fine, now co," we followed him. He was about to open another door when it also opened on its own...{and then he told
that there is nothing to be scared about}
"You can’t scare , young man," we heard a voice, and Alpha chuckled... {I think I have heard this voice before... but where?}
"No one in this world can dare to scare you, beautiful," he said, and a pair of old hands encircled his torso, and he kissed that person’s forehead. "Here, I have guests for you and be a little gentle, sweetheart. They are already scared of you being a witch," he said, and the lady chuckled. He moved to a side, and I put a fake smile on my face, but as soon I saw the person, I could not stop myself.
