"What the...? Why do my flas not burn!?" Exclaid one of the two Demons we were fighting, as I got her within the range of my Nullification.
Right as she began to fly up in alarm, Miraliz fired out her water beam and pierced through the Demon’s wings to stop her from flying away, and before she could heal the damage, a massive wave of ice ca bursting out and engulfed the Demon, encasing her in a thick layer of ice.
"Oh, you’re still alive," Remarked Miraliz in surprise.
"Do not just kill off, young lady," Huffed Elise indignantly.
The two Demons we had been up against were Fiend Zeta, Jeanne D’Arc the Burned and Fiend Nu, Pirate Mary Read. And we’d managed to kill the latter already...we’d initially been overwheld by the two Demons, just barely surviving because I was able to use my Nullification to cancel out their attacks that would’ve killed us.
And then, as Fiend Nu went in to finish off Elise, who’d already lost her left arm and a small chunk of her right hip in the battle, she suddenly unleashed what I’d assud was a suicide attack, bursting out ice spikes in her vicinity and killing the Demon.
She must have made sure to avoid skewering herself, which is impressive...given that she’d lost of ton of blood, it couldn’t have been easy pulling off such control in that situation.
Miraliz and I had just assud that she was dead, and we fought Fiend Zeta to try and finish the job. She’s pretty powerful, with insanely intense fla attacks at her disposal. She also ford what looked like a large, broken cross, and she was able to control the broken pieces telekinetically.
"This won’t hold her for long...she’s emitting imnse heat, she’ll break free of my ice in a matter of seconds," Frowned Elise warily.
"Then let’s try to kill her before she can do that," Declared Miraliz, firing out a barrage of piercing water beams at the Demon, the ice encasing her rapidly lting away.
She managed to shoot a few holes through the Demon’s body, right as cracks spread out in the ice before it shattered, the Demon freeing herself and flying up with a roar of anger.
She then blasted out an imnse wave of flas at us, the other two rushing in towards as I activated my Nullification, wiping out the flas as they entered my range.
Right as the flas began to fade, my eyes widened as I saw the Demon co zipping down towards us, her gaze locked onto with a fierce look in her eyes.
Of course she’s targeting , that’s the logical thing to do here...but it’s also pretty predictable. I smirked as she closed in on , as I swiftly drew out the two light energy bombs I’d been given, grabbing the pins between my teeth and pulling them out.
The Demon’s eyes widened as she realized what was happening, abruptly halting and beginning to fly back, but she was too late. The cannisters exploded, eliciting an agonized cry from her as the light energy mist engulfed her, before several more explosions burst out around her as Elise and Miraliz each flung a cannister at her as well.
They’d each used up one light energy bomb earlier in the fight, but I’m glad I held on to both of mine...with four whole explosions of light energy mist at the sa ti, that’s gotta be a significant amount of damage inflicted.
I then flung a couple of daggers up at the Demon, which sliced through her wings and caused her to plumt with an alard yelp. She then scread out in pain as Miraliz sliced her in half with a water beam, before both halves of her body were severely skewered with ice spikes bursting out from the ground right before she landed.
"Ti to end this," Declared Elise, as she swiftly branched out the spikes inside of the Demon’s body, blood trickling down the ice as choked gasps escaped her lips, before a shattering sound echoed out from inside her body.
"Im...impossible...," Muttered the Demon weakly, her body disintegrating and disappearing as Elise shattered her core.
"Alright, we did it!" Exclaid Miraliz triumphantly.
"Yes, quite so...and now that we’re no longer in danger...owww! This hurts so much!" Wailed Elise in pain, collapsing onto the ground.
She’d frozen her bleeding spots, the stump where her left arm used to be and the spot on her right hip where she’d lost a chunk of flesh, so she’d stopped the bleeding, but yeah...she’s gotta be in an imnse amount of pain.
"Don’t worry, I’m sure Inoka would be able to heal you," Pointed out Miraliz optimistically.
"But there is no telling how long it will be before I can get so healing...he might still be fighting his battle, and not to ntion that Neo is in a weakened state and cannot use his powers freely. It’s okay...I can probably bear this for a little while," Responded Elise with a grimace, her expression kinda pale.
Yeah, I have a feeling that she’s gonna start complaining pretty soon...well, considering the fact that she’s literally missing an arm, I wouldn’t exactly bla her. Hm, assuming that Neo’s watching, he probably would’ve portaled us back by now if he could.
Which ans that he probably can’t, otherwise he’d at least try to bring back Elise since she really needs so healing. I just hope he doesn’t keep us waiting too long...if more Demons show up here, I’m not sure the three of us can handle them...

"How are you feeling now?" Zoraiz asked with a look of concern.
"I’m fine, don’t worry...the fighting is all but over. But...I couldn’t prevent more casualties. By...by the ti I regained enough strength to use the Observation technique again, well...most of the others managed to defeat their opponents and survived. But one group didn’t...Leonardo and Petra, they’re...they’re dead.
I-I managed to transport Aurora there and saved Dieter, but...but I failed in my task, I couldn’t keep everyone alive," I grimaced in frustration and remorse, clenching my fists as I added, "I’ll bring all the survivors back in a few minutes. So of them are in dire need of healing."
"You can’t bla yourself, man...if it wasn’t for you, most of us would already be dead. There’s no doubt in my mind that you’re doing absolutely everything that you can-...no, you’re doing even more than that. Given your physical state, you’re probably risking you life by using your powers right now...heck, I’d have died if it wasn’t for you," He pointed out, placing a hand on my shoulder.
"But what about Kiyana, Petra and Leonardo? If I’d just had a fraction more strength, I could’ve saved them too...I should have saved them. But I wasn’t able to...worse, they were all dead before I even noticed," I shook my head in disappointnt.
"It’s not your fault. I’m sure everyone realized that getting help from you during these fights would’ve been a bonus, but not sothing to expect. I know I was, I had genuinely resigned myself to die after the battle against Lucifer. And this may sound a bit harsh, but...there’s no point in agonizing over what you couldn’t do, at least not right now.
There’ll be plenty of ti to mourn and regret after this is all over...but for right now, all we can do is keep moving forward. This is still far from over...just focus on regaining your strength enough to portal everyone back over here. There are still a ton of Demons and Devils out there, so we’ve still got a lot of work to do...isn’t that right?"
