"I can’t believe that you’re seriously attacking the sa country in a span of three days...I’m impressed, they’ll never see it coming," Smirked Wrest in approval.
"Also, also, also...you ant it when you said that I can be a part of this attack too, right!?" Exclaid Afro eagerly.
"Yeah, and don’t worry, if it looks like you’re about to die, I’ll have Glenn portal you back here," I replied with a thumbs up.
"Sweet! Countin’ on ya, buddy!" Grinned Afro, as he slapped Glenn’s shoulder.
"Oh, uh...right, okay, leave it to ," He nodded in response, before rubbing the spot on his shoulder that was struck.
"Honestly, wish I could be a part of this too...but I’m way too low on Aura right now," Sighed Wrest wistfully.
Soone then knocked on the door and entered...
"Oh, hey, Rasputin, what’s up?" I greeted him.
"I just received word from the scout, a handful of Eden’s mbers just ca out of the airport. They should be at the spot you plan to attack within about an hour or so," He inford .
"Nice! Oh, did they happen to spot the one I specified?" I inquired curiously.
"Yes, the girl with purple hair was seen among them, but was wearing a long coat, so they couldn’t confirm the scars."
"It has to be her, who’d wear a coat in such humid weather without a good reason? She’s likely wearing it to hide her scars in order to avoid any unnecessary trouble in the airport. Also, this is great, they succumbed to my threats," I smirked triumphantly.
"If that is all, I will be going now," Muttered Rasputin, heading back out of the room.
I can’t get a read on that guy...well, he has been alive for a really long ti, guess he had plenty of ti to work on that poker face.
"By the way, where’s Drac? Ain’t he gonna be a part of this?" Afro asked .
"Nah, having both him and Lucy at the sa ti will kinda be overkill. He’s currently overseeing Calia’s training," I inford him.
"You said that four people will be a part of this, right? Let’s see, there’s Lucifer and Afro, of course...who are the other two?" Inquired Wrest curiously.
"Heh, glad you asked. One of the two is Lance Cronje, the younger brother of Neo," I replied with a grin, before adding, "As for the fourth...that’d be . Oh, and let clarify, I ant that four SIGNIFICANT mbers of our group will be a part of it. I’m also having about ten others, all about Category 2 level, be a part of it. But they’re just lackeys who will almost definitely die, so whatever, they don’t really count. And naturally, I gave them all the option to withdraw or opt out, but none of them did."
"Oh, you’re getting directly involved this ti, huh? Nice. But, uh, won’t that Aurora girl recognize you if she gets a whiff of your scent?" Wrest pointed out in response.
"Nah, I’ll be wearing so pretty heavy cologne over my cloak. She didn’t recognize in Paris, so it’s definitely strong enough to mask my scent. And besides, if she does show up, she’ll be the only one who can handle our dear Lucy, so she’ll be too preoccupied to focus on ," I responded objectively.
"Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Also, stop with the Lucy thing, he’ll kill you if he hears you call him that again," Sighed Wrest in exasperation.
He’s probably right about that, but it’s so cute though...
"By the way, about those Eden peeps, you got them to co to the country, and to the site where the attack will take place, but how do you know they’ll actually join the fray? Won’t they decide to stay out of the way instead?" Chid in Afro.
"Not to worry...I’m having our scout follow them, so we’ll know exactly where they are. If they decide to simply hide and watch, I’ll go attack them myself. That’ll force them to spring into action," I smirked in response.
"I hate to say it, but that X’s Nullification power is no joke. Can you handle yourself without your powers?" Inquired Wrest pointedly.
"Oh, I’m quite confident in my close range combat skills, don’t you worry about that. X is quite skilled herself in that regard, but the sa can’t be said of Trevor Compton, the Category 0 who’s in charge of her. Isn’t that right?" I pointed out.
"Yeah, co to think of it, he’s not that great when it cos to fighting without the use of his powers. Heh, from what I heard, even that kid Outlier landed a couple of hits on him, while restrained and without so much as an ounce of control over her powers!" Scoffed Wrest in amusent.
"For real? How’d a guy like that beco a Category 0?" Responded Afro in surprise.
"Well, he is exceptionally good at using his Skills, admittedly," Sighed Wrest reluctantly.
"I have to say, I’m loving how perfectly the timing of everything is lining up. Neo will be making his way to the Outliers’ campsite in about half an hour, to drop off so supplies and stuff. And at the sa ti, the Eden mbers will be arriving at the designated area. Now, then, ti to contact our scout and find out exactly which mbers of Eden showed up, and how many of them are here," I remarked in anticipation.
"Wait a sec, if you could’ve just contacted them, why have Rasputin deliver the ssage to you?" Asked Afro in confusion.
"Isn’t it obvious? Because I thought it’d be cool, having a subordinate co in with important news," I responded with a shrug.
"The way your mind works is so weird," Snickered Wrest with a shake of his head.
"Hey, so, uh, we won’t be activating an Anti-Teleportation Field this ti, right?" Chid in Glenn.
"Yup, that’s right. What about it?" I replied with a nod.
"Well, uh...how do you plan to inform Neo and Harmony about the attack and have them arrive on ti?" He asked curiously.
"Simple...we call him. I already have his number, we are pretty good friends, after all! So, we just call him from an unknown number and let him know, simple as that," I surmised with a grin, before adding as I glanced at the ti, "Alright, then...Glenn, go fetch everyone who’s going to be involved in this, have them gather here. It won’t be much longer now before we get started..."

Point-of-View: Neo Cronje

I wish I’d never mastered the portal technique...I’m sick and tired of being used as a workhorse, transporting stuff around like this.
"Yo, dude, you got my beers?" Inquired Inoka expectantly, looking through the stuff I’d brought.
I was bringing in materials for the construction of the hidden base inside the waterfall, and of course, the Outliers made sure to send in a bunch of requests for stuff that they wanted too.
Inoka asked for cigarettes and beers, Zoraiz asked for chocolate, Alexis wanted so sour candies and sodas, Aurora requested deer at of all things, saying that she was craving so since she hadn’t had any since the ti she lived with cheetahs, and Dieter asked for stuff to play with, like fidget spinners and yo-yos, guilt-tripping by saying that he never got a chance to play with toys like normal kids.
"Hurry up and make sure everything’s there, so that I can leave already," I sighed, as they gathered around and began going through the boxes I’d packed all their requested stuff into.
"Deer at, after so long!" Squealed Aurora in excitent, as she found the packaged at and gave it a sniff.
"Is it really that much better than beef?" Alexis asked her, as she opened a pack of candy sour worms.
"I wouldn’t say that, but it has a flavor to it that beef doesn’t," She grinned in response, her eyes practically sparkling with excitent.
"Oh, sweet, found my poison juice and cancer sticks," Remarked Inoka dryly, holding up the beers and cigarette packs.
"You consu those everyday and still call them that?" Inquired Dieter in bemusent.
"Well, yeah, because that’s an accurate description. Although, thanks to my Light Skill, I can easily negate the negative effects, so they aren’t really harmful to anymore," He laughed in response.
"Aw, man, I totally missed my chance to request so stuff I wanted too," Groaned Mike in dismay, as he approached us.
"Yeah, no, after your recent screw-up, you get nothing," I stated icily.
"Brr, so cold!" Shuddered Mike in response.
"By the way, where’s Kiyana?" I asked, looking around.
"Oh, she drank too much and passed out," Answered Inoka sheepishly.
...he’s the only one with booze in this place. So, he’s the culprit.
"Don’t get people overly drunk," I sighed in exasperation.
"Yeah, actually, it was just one beer, and she conked out. How was I supposed to know how low her tolerance is?" He shrugged in response.
What an irresponsible thing to say, he’s so-...hm? I’m getting a call...from an unknown number. That’s weird...all the people who have my contact info are people whose contact info I’ve saved in my phone.
Maybe soone got a new phone, or are calling through soone else’s phone for so reason?
"Hello? Who is this?" I inquired, as I answered the call.
"Put the phone on speaker," Ca the reply, a distorted voice...oh, no...
"You must be Anarchy," I remarked with a grimace, as I put it on speaker...whatever this is about, the others might as well hear about it...
"Wait, what?" Responded Inoka in surprise, as they all looked up at .
"Hi, there, everyone! How’s it going? Nice day, isn’t it? Perfect for a bloody battle! In one minute after I hang up this call, we’ll be launching an attack on the Lotus Tower in Colombo, and it’s gonna be grand! Lucy’s gonna be there too! So will an Outlier, by the way! Yours truly is also going to be a part of the action this ti!
Oh, and...soone you know very well will also be there, Neo...soone whom you were recently supposed to kill, but failed. I also invited so other guests to attend this party, it’s gonna be a grand encounter! Rember, it’ll comnce one minute after I hang up, the location will be the Lotus Tower in Colombo...and bonus, no Anti-Teleportation Field this ti! See you soon!"
