The reunion is tonight. And I got the invitation from Kayla this morning.
"It was made in a hurry, but this is the invitation. Only those who bring this invitation can attend the event in the restaurant," Kayla said.
"It beca so luxurious. Is there anyone who beca rich after the stampede perhaps?" I asked as I grabbed the invitation from her.
"Rather than after the stampede, she was already rich before the stampede. Her family owned a jewelry shop that many nobles in lk and even those from outside had heard about. After the stampede, they moved to another city. She ca here trying to reopen her shop after so long leaving here. It’s a coincidence that she ca here at the sa ti as us. And using her connection, she booked a restaurant that many nobles usualy visit when they ca here," Kayla said.
"And using our connection, we made sure that no one would co to the restaurant tonight. Am I right?" I asked.
"Right. Wendy took care of that. Since the lord of lk was a forr agent, it was easy to do that. Though since Angela and I will be there, I don’t think that’s the case. Because soone with invitation can still bring so people. But I don’t think it will cause any trouble for us," Kayla said.
The forr lord of this city was soone who planned the stampede. We killed him in the end. And the new lord was soone prepared by Albert. He was a forr agent. So he can be trusted.
I looked at the invitation in my hand. It’s just about the invitation to a reunion in the restaurant for all the students from the introductory school during a certain year.
"Is it just us who attended the school at that year who got invited?" I asked.
"Well, there were several of our seniors who couldn’t manage to graduate the year we awakened our elents. So there could be so of them who claid to be from the sa year as us. Then there’s the teachers as well," Kayla said.
I could careless about the seniors. They never gave trouble and I never cared about them.
But the teachers though, there’s one annoying teacher. Mr. Wig.
Unlike other teachers who didn’t seem to care that I rarely ca to classes, this one would always pick on whenever I’m in class. Trying to show off his superiority by aiming for that one student who might be lazy.
"Well, I don’t think anyone would care about him, so I’ll make sure that he can’t attend," I said to myself.
"Who are you talking about, Roy?" Victoria asked.
"That teacher who always put on his wig. I don’t like him so I don’t want to et him in the event," I said.
"Right. He always made fun of back then. Saying that the Black Sli is the worst monster anyone could make a contract with. Let’s do it!" Victoria agreed with suggestion.
Though for that, I could agree in my past life. I an, I didn’t know how to utilize Blobby in my past life. Though right now, I don’t think I can find any better partner than Victoria even now that I have five familiars.
Kayla and Angela just smiled hearing that I’m planning sothing bad to our forr teacher. I guess they don’t like him as well.
As for Wendy, she’s not here. But I heard that she got an invitation as well. I guess I’ll et her tonight.
It has been two weeks since I stayed in lk. And I just mostly went to the brothel or visit Oleg’s place. Other ti, I would just went on a date with soone here. Or when I got really bored, I just left this place and went sowhere else before returning later at night.
Maybe it took that ti until the reunion so everyone can contact those who are outside of lk to co here.
It’s a reunion for an entire school year. Plus so seniors and teachers. So there should be many people there.
With that many people, I only have a few people I know. Well, maybe not. I don’t really know them that well other than when I watched the illusion of my past. And we’re not really acquaintances. I guess we’re just strangers who ca together because we attended the sa school.
Though I did hear a lot of rumors about during my school life. Mostly because people were jealous of since I had Kayla and Angela often hanging around with .
Jealous people are annoying. They can’t do anything other than talking behind my back. That’s why I never bothered talking with them.
Right now, I’m in the residential area. In front of a house where only one person live. The house of Mr. Wig.
"Is this is house?" Victoria asked.
"Yes. It’s hilarious that he’s actually dressing up right now trying to make a good impression tonight. I guess he heard that Wendy will be coming. He even tried out different kind of wigs," I said.
Mr. Wig right now is trying out clothes and pair it with so wigs. Trying to find a cool pair for him to attend the reunion tonight.
"Really? Let’s enter the house and look closer then. If it’s you, I’m sure that even if you’re right behind him, he won’t notice at all," Victoria said.
She’s right. Mr. Wig is weak. So I’m sure that I can hide from him right behind him. I just need to make sure that I’m not at his sight or anywhere where the mirror reflected. Or he will find .
We just had fun making fun of Mr. Wig using telepathy. Until finally, he left. It’s still school day, so he has works to do at school.
"Are you trying to destroy his clothes so he won’t have anything to wear tonight?" Victoria asked.
"No. I’m going to destroy his wigs so he can only co if he’s not afraid to show everyone that he’s bald," I said.
Even Kron is now no longer care about his baldness that was caused by an explosion. And there are other cool bald people who are walking around proudly. And this guy just proudly trying to flirt with female teachers when he’s afraid that his baldness can be seen.
Though I don’t care about that. He’s just annoying to and I don’t like him. Though I never thought of him as a target to kill. So I’ll just play a prank on him.
Using various ans to make all the wigs slippery, now anyti that he put on his wig, they will slip. If he’s lucky, the wig won’t slip at all until the reunion. If he’s not, he won’t even have the guts to go out of this house.
"...That’s quite cruel of you to think of that. But it’s funny to imagine him walking around with his wig slipped from his head. What about the one he wears to school?" Victoria asked.
"That’s taken care of already. I called Angela so she can visit the school today and to show off her wind magic to all the students there. The goal is for them to see how strong Angela’s magic is. But that’s not the real goal, obviously. It’s just to make his wig fly as far away as possible," I said.
Even though she never really appeared again in public after the tournant is over, she still has a lot of fans. I’m sure that the students will enjoy having her showing her magic in front of everyone.
When I checked the school, the guard stopped . I just said that I’m in this city for a reunion and I felt nostalgic so I wanted to visit the school.
Even though I said that, the only place I often went to during my school days is the library. Even more than my own classroom.
The security let in knowing that several people already did the sa. Then I finally see it. Angela showing her wind magic in front of everyone including Mr. Wig.
And I can see flying wig and a teacher who is covering his head with a book. He’s even shouting to Angela to ask her to bring his wig down.
But instead, Angela made the wig fly even higher until it can no longer be seen. That’s what you get when you don’t ask her politely.
Then one of the student asked Angela.
"Miss Angela! Are you the strongest mage in the world right now?"
Angela stared at the girl for a second before she answers her question.
"The strongest mage? Not at all. I have a friend whom I could never win against. Though I can’t really call him a mage. Anyway, you just need to focus on becoming stronger. Doesn’t matter if anyone tell you that you’re the strongest or not, just focus on becoming stronger. Then you might really be able to defeat one day," Angela said.
...I never expected her to say sothing inspirational. Maybe she can be a teacher. Though I don’t think that she has any interest in that.
Now I feel better. Let’s get back and get ready for the reunion.
