"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" - Shun felt an unbearable pain throughout his body as he scread inside his head. He felt his muscles being torn and regenerated repeatedly.
Fortunately, the system ensured that he couldn't make any noise in the real world, otherwise, his parents would already be calling an ambulance thinking their son was dying.
After a few minutes, the pain finally subsided and was replaced by a warm and comfortable feeling. Shun enjoyed this mont a bit before checking his statistics.
"System nu!" - Shun said inside his head.

"I just need to improve my Body Balance to a B grade, and I'll finally be able to pitch again!" - When Shun saw his updated statistics, he realized he was close to achieving one of his goals. It wouldn't be long before he could play as a pitcher again.
[Don't rush, boy! I understand that you want to pitch, but you also need to improve in several other areas.]
"I know." - Shun sighed, he knew the old man was telling the truth, but it was still a bit hard for him to hear the words of that old child-deceiver.
[Enter the Arena, boy, there's still sothing you need to do today.]
"Alright." - Shun just accepted his current situation, he really needed the old man's help. The boy then closed his eyes and activated rest mode.
[DING]
[Rest mode activated]
[The user can access rest mode functions]
"Arena!" - Shun shouted inside his head.
[DING]
[Entering the Arena]
Shun felt his consciousness being transported to another place. The boy opened his eyes and found himself inside the familiar empty stadium. After entering the arena every night, he had already gotten used to this sensation.
[DING]
[Select the Arena function the user wants to use]
Shun was already expecting this notification, he calmly looked at the three screens in front of him.
[Arena Missions]
[Training Center (locked)]
[Arena Tournants]
"What now, old man?" - Shun asked.
[There's sothing you need to do, but before that, it's better for you to get your daily victory first.]
"Alright..." - Shun agreed, a bit suspicious. He felt a bad feeling from the old man's words but quickly let it go while selecting: "Arena Tournants!"
[DING]
[Please select which tournant the user wants to participate in]
[Arena Tournants:
Bronze Tournant: 113 passes (Ongoing tournant, 2nd round)
Silver Tournant: 1 pass
Gold Tournant: 0 passes
Legendary Tournant: 0 passes]
"Damn!" - Shun complained when he looked at the system screen, it was impossible to start another tournant of the sa level if one was already in progress. Shun naturally wanted to know what kind of madness the old man was going to make him do, so he wanted to secure his daily victory quickly.
Unfortunately for him, he still hadn't managed to win the second ga of the Bronze Tournant. The boy just sighed and entered the tournant, accepting his fate.
After 20 minutes, Shun returned to the empty Arena with an irritated expression. He didn't even know how many tis he had tried to win the second round of the Bronze Tournant and had failed. The boy then selected the Bronze Tournant again, starting a new tournant.
"Finally! Ready, old man, what do I do now?" - Shun returned after 20 minutes to the empty arena and spoke, he had managed to win the first ga of the new Bronze Tournant and secured his daily victory.
[Hmph, you took too long! Well, boy, I think it's ti for you to enter the Training Center, otherwise, I can't even imagine how long it will take for you to beco a decent player.]
"Tch!" - Shun beca irritated with the old man's harsh words, he had to control himself to stay calm and not curse that damn old man.
After taking a deep breath, he thought that a Training Center could really be useful for him. Even without any idea of what exactly the Training Center was, he said:
"What do I need to do?"
[Nothing much, you just need to complete the mission to unlock the Training Center.]
"What kind of mission is that? What do I need to do?" - Shun asked suspiciously, he clearly didn't believe the old man's 'nothing much' words.
[I don't know. The mission is a Training Center mission, so I can't see the mission details until you accept it.]
"Ahh, whatever, I'll do it anyway. I accept the mission." - Shun gave up thinking, since he couldn't get any information from the old man anyway, he just accepted the mission.
[DING]
Shun felt his consciousness shift when he heard the system notification in his head. This ti, he felt a great dizziness before finally opening his eyes with difficulty.
He noticed that he was in an enclosed place, he could see a pitching mound, several bats, gloves, baseballs, and so pitching machines.
However, before he could see everything clearly, he heard the familiar voice of the old man, only this ti the voice was strangely not inside his head.
[Hahahahahahah finally, I finally have a body!]
"What the fuck?" - Shun looked startled in the direction of the voice. The boy almost had a heart attack when he saw a laughing silhouette speaking in front of him.
[Hahahahaha!! What's wrong, kid? You look like you've just seen a ghost, hahahaha!]
"You... how did you... are you really the old man?" - Shun stamred while pointing at the silhouette, frightened. He couldn't believe what he was seeing; ,n front of him was the silhouette of a Japanese man with black hair and black eyes. He was tall and had broad shoulders. The man was wearing a white and red baseball uniform and also wore a white baseball cap.
[Hahahahahahahahaha so, kid? Who the hell is the child-deceiver now, huh?] - The old man laughed loudly before approaching Shun with an intimidating expression.
