"Jackpot," I grinned, a fireball still hovering over my palm.

"Please don't do this, I beg you!"

The smoke finally cleared, but what I saw shocked so much that I montarily lost control of the fireball—it nearly blew up in my face. Good thing I dove out of the way.

What the hell?!

I looked forward again and couldn't help but blink a couple of tis to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

"Wait… you're a Fairy?" I asked.

"…Yes," she responded begrudgingly.

Wait.

How?

How the hell is this even a Fairy?

Before stood a goddess.

Green, lustrous hair held back by a golden bead. The sa color eyes and a face that… that just didn't belong to this world. She wasn't just beautiful; she was BEAUTIFUL.

She wore those Greek-like clothes from myths—those sexy ones always worn by goddesses that left little to the imagination. She was curvaceous—no, that was an understatent. She had an hourglass figure. Yes, that's the precise description.

Her skin was impossibly smooth, with a milky-white glow. Plump pink lips and a devilish allure that contrasted sharply with her innocent look—everything about her scread perfection, yet felt utterly unreal.

But aren't Fairies supposed to be tiny, gullible creatures? How the hell is this a Fairy?!

"You're really a Fairy?" I asked again, this ti with a touch of skepticism.

I just hope this isn't so sche of fate to throw off—introduce soone so irresistible and I end falling for her, then lose my head and start thinking with my dick.

Well, that ain't happening.

Be the most beautiful angel in existence; it won't change the fact that you're either giving that relic or I'm burning down this tree.

"I am," she said, now looking annoyed.

"But you don't look like one… Don't try to play for a fool," I said, manifesting more fireballs. I saw her lips twitch visibly, and a vein appeared on her forehead.

"What do you an?! I am a Fairy! How are you even supposed to know what Fairies look like?! You're just a child!" she scread in annoyance.

I wasn't in the mood for clichés. In fact, I was in a terrible mood.

"Well, screw whatever you are. All I want is the Trinket of Destiny. Hand it over now and save yourself the stress of begging to take it later," I said flatly, no smile in sight.

Screw playing nice just because she turned out to be mind-blowingly gorgeous.

"How dare you?" she said through gritted teeth. I shrugged.

BOOM!

I let a fireball do the talking. If she didn't give in, she'd just have to watch the trinket get destroyed. Wait… can it even be destroyed? I didn't know. Oh well, guess we'll find out.

"WAIT! STOP!" she scread.

I knew she couldn't do anything to . If she directed her attention to , she wouldn't be able to keep protecting the tree. It's either or the tree.

"Are you ready to give it to ?" I asked flatly.

"I… I don't know what you want. I don't know any Trinket of Destiny. Please… How do you even know a Fairy is here? No… How do you even know about the Trin—"

She began rambling, but realizing I only had forty minutes left, I decided to torch the whole thing.

Screw this fairy.

BOOM!

"Wait!"

BOOM!

"Listen to , please!"

BOOM!

"I will give you sothing else!"

BOOM!

"Alright, alright! I'll give it to you!" she cried.

When the smoke cleared, I saw her face, red with tears streaming down.

What…

…what have I done?

…Pfft, as if. That's what I'd say if this were so cringy movie. Like I'd fall for such an act.

"I'm not the protagonist, woman. And even if I were, I'm no beta MC."

"Give it. I don't have all day," I said, walking toward her while keeping my sword ready. You never know when a bitch will strike.

"You're an evil soul…" she said through gritted teeth.

"Yeah, my dad used to say that. Now make it quick; I'm on a schedule," I said, glancing at my watch again.

Why do I have this nagging feeling Selena is watching ?
