"Right? Then go ahead and register their nas," Valeriane said with a pleasant smile.

"You're right. So, what are their nas?" the woman asked.

"Elyshara, Hastora, and Mirellia Venrosa," Valeriane replied.

"Mirellia Venrosa? You only ntioned her full na. What about the others?"

Hastora stepped forward. "My na is Hastora Vallois, and this girl is Elyshara Vanthelis."

"Lovely nas. Just a mont."

The woman quickly began processing their registration.

Hastora stood by patiently.

This shouldn't take long.

"Okay, it's done." The woman handed him a registration receipt.

Hastora took it. "Thank you."

The woman smiled. "You're welco."

"Alright, let's head back," Valeriane said, turning around.

Hastora handed Elyshara her receipt and followed behind Valeriane.

"Mother, who was that woman?" Valeska asked, a hint of curiosity in her tone.

"The headmistress of this academy, Luna von Elarion," Valeriane replied. "Why do you ask?"

"...She's strong."

That's undeniable.

The Elarion family itself is a high-class noble family.

They hold control over the empire's military.

In the novel, the Elarion family is known for its powerful mbers.

In fact, the empire's main general is from the Elarion family.

No wonder Luna's so formidable—regardless of her being a woman.

Valeriane imdiately got into her car once they left the academy.

"Let's go back. Our task is finished. You'll have your academy entrance exams tomorrow," Valeriane said.

"Okay, Mother," Valeska got into the car.

"What are you waiting for? Get in," Valeriane urged.

"Where to? We've finished our task. So we're not going back to the palace?" Elyshara asked, raising an eyebrow.

Valeriane chuckled. "It's alright. You two can stay at my palace tonight because you'll be entering the academy tomorrow."

Elyshara tilted her head. "Huh? Shouldn't we take the entrance exam tomorrow before actually entering the academy?"

"That's true. But you'll still stay at the academy imdiately. The entrance exam only determines your class based on your score. Nothing else."

Elyshara understood.

Without hesitation, she got into the car.

A bright smile lit up her face—it caught Hastora off guard.

She looked so genuinely happy, so lighthearted, that for a mont, Hastora forgot everything else.

It was the first ti he'd seen her like this

"Co on, Hastora! Let's go together!" Elyshara called out with a grin.

"No, you go on ahead. I'll catch up later." Hastora walked away, leaving the four of them.

As the car drove off in the distance, Hastora turned in the opposite direction.

He wasn't done yet. Not here.

The capital's main library—vast, ancient, and rich with knowledge—was only a few blocks away.

It housed all kinds of books—alchemy, magic, combat, swordsmanship, history, and more.

This is a good opportunity for him to study the history of Eldoria.

Even if he already knew most of it, he still needed to study it thoroughly.

Perhaps Eldoria's history has also changed due to the deviation of the storyline.

He has to confirm it himself.

Based on his knowledge, the capital's library is located next to the capital's museum.

It's only a few ters from here.

After walking for a few minutes, he finally arrived.

The library lood before him, a fortress of knowledge wrapped in solemn silence.

Its grand structure, with thick anti-magic glass and reinforced stone, looked more like a bastion than a place of study.

Every part of the building was reinforced with anti-magic asures, making it nearly indestructible by magical ans.

Not just the windows.

Hastora stepped inside through the glass door and walked towards the librarian.

"Excuse ."

The librarian, a brown-haired woman busy playing with her smartphone, looked up.

She glanced up from her device, eyes sharpening behind her glasses.

"Need sothing, sir? Or just browsing?"

"Hi, could you tell where the history section is?"

"Oh, history books? The history bookshelves are over there, near the alchemy bookshelves." The librarian pointed with her index finger.

"Thank you, miss."

"You're welco."

Hastora made his way to the shelves she'd pointed out, his steps calm but purposeful.

He looked at each book on the shelf after arriving there.

He was looking for sothing specific—perhaps a book detailing the empire's major conflicts or pivotal events.

He needed to know.

If history had changed, he'd have to take action.

Changes in history could have a bad impact on him.

There might be important events in the past that will affect the future.

It could be bad or good.

He needed to be ready—no matter what the past revealed.

After searching on the highest shelf, one book caught his attention.

He took it.

"Significant Events of the Eldorian Empire's War—Two Millennia Ago"
