Mu Yiliang felt a bit confused.

"If you knew all this from the start, would you still be comfortable leaving Xiaoze alone in S City?" Qiao Yebai curled his lips.

"Of course not!" Mu Yiliang was on the verge of going crazy. "Then, has Xiaoze really been kidnapped?"

"You’re worried, Yan Sijue is worried too, so he has to take so asures. Keeping Xiaoze close seems like a good choice, but for certain reasons, he’s unwilling to do that, so he has to move Xiaoze. But the move... can’t be just an ordinary move, that wouldn’t serve much purpose." Qiao Yebai gave her a aningful look.

Mu Yiliang froze, suddenly feeling as if sothing flashed through her mind!

Touching Qiao Yebai’s encouraging gaze, she seed to realize sothing...

"You an, Xiaoze being kidnapped... is just a facade? He just wants to move Xiaoze to a safer place, so he staged this kidnapping?" Mu Yiliang muttered.

Qiao Yebai smiled, "That’s right, I think that’s the most likely scenario. This smokescreen is enough to divert the attention of those ISIS people who have limited knowledge about China. And didn’t you say the bodyguard responsible for protecting Xiaoze also disappeared? If Xiaoze had been kidnapped by soone else, the bodyguard would more likely be injured, not missing... He didn’t tell you because he didn’t want you to worry."

Mu Yiliang sat back in her chair, dazed.

She rembered Yan Sijue’s shocked and pale face when she accused him... At the ti, she was solely engulfed in the terror of Xiaoze’s disappearance and resentnt towards his unwillingness to do his best, not even noticing his expression. Reflecting on it now... If what Qiao Yebai said is true, how painful it must have been for him to be misunderstood to this extent!

Mu Yiliang felt a bit tremulous.

"Of course, that’s just my speculation, but following this line of thinking, I think I’ve found Xiaoze’s whereabouts." Qiao Yebai was scrolling through his phone, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Mu Yiliang imdiately rushed over!

"Where is he?"

"He’s with Robert in a small town on the southeast coast." Qiao Yebai handed her the phone, "In that town, Robert has been living there with a little girl for over a year. He knows every ordinary resident there, so any outsider would be imdiately noticed. Besides, Yan Sijue also arranged tight security, it’s foolproof."

Mu Yiliang saw the ssage from Robert on the screen, and tears suddenly fell!

Xiaoze is okay, he’s fine!

"In such a secluded place, who knows when they’ll find out Xiaoze’s whereabouts, let alone make a move on him... But if it were in S City, it’s different. In a tropolis full of mixed elents, no matter how many people are arranged, there’s bound to be opportunities for soone to fish in troubled waters. Rest assured, once the crisis is over, you’ll be reunited with Xiaoze." Qiao Yebai said with a smile.

"Ye Bai, thank you." She gently exhaled, returning the phone to him.

"It’s nothing." Qiao Yebai looked at her with affection, "Now, can you rest easy?"

Mu Yiliang, however, shook her head bitterly, "So, I’ve really misunderstood him completely..."

No wonder Yan Sijue said, the person Xiaoze trusted was never him, and the sa goes for her.
