Old Sir Yan's sharp gaze imdiately fell upon him.

"I heard you didn't co ho last night? You've only been married three days, and I haven't arranged anything for you. Why didn't you co ho?" He gave Yan Sijue no face, starting with an interrogation.

"Grandfather, I'm sorry." Yan Sijue's eyebrows didn't move an inch, as if he had expected this. He didn't defend himself, didn't complain, but straightforwardly apologized.

"You're not apologizing to . Hurry and apologize to your wife!" Old Sir Yan frowned.

"It... it's alright..." Mu Yiliang waved her hand nervously, "Grandpa, Si Jue treats very well. He didn't co back last night because a group of friends insisted on taking him out, and he had already inford ..."

Yan Sijue couldn't help but glance at Mu Yiliang.

"Well... since Yiliang pleads for you, I won't say more." Old Sir Yan gave Yan Sijue a cold glance.

"I'll be mindful in the future, Grandfather."

"Have a seat."

"Yes." Yan Sijue responded, pulled out a chair for Mu Yiliang, and held her hand to signal her to sit first.

This gentlemanly and considerate gesture finally brought a satisfied smile to the Old Sir.

"Yiliang, if Si Jue ever does sothing to wrong you, just let know." Old Sir Yan, facing Mu Yiliang, exhibited a completely different attitude—warm and kind, as if Mu Yiliang were his actual granddaughter.

"Thank you, Grandfather, but Si Jue is very good to ." Mu Yiliang shyly smiled with so nervousness.

"That's good." Old Sir nodded, pushing a freshly brewed cup of tea toward Mu Yiliang, "Drink up."

"Thank you, Grandfather..." Mu Yiliang said, quickly lifting the cup to take a sip.

"How's the craftsmanship?" Old Sir raised his eyebrows, "Comparing with your grandfather, which is better?"

Turns out Old Sir Yan knew her grandfather, Mu Baoyun? Could this be the real reason their two families are arranged to marry?

Mu Yiliang was surprised in her heart but said aloud, "I... I don't really understand tea, I think both are great."

Old Sir suddenly burst into laughter, "Your grandfather said you inherited his true skills in tea. How could you not tell! Not wanting to say is just giving face!"

Mu Yiliang was startled! Would Grandfather actually discuss such matters with Old Sir Yan? She hadn't anticipated her grandfather's close friendship with Old Sir Yan at all. If she slipped up, her disguise would be ruined!

"My grandfather must be bragging again, you know how he is..." Mu Yiliang said, her face flushed.

Old Sir Yan chuckled, suddenly pushing a cup of tea toward Yan Sijue: "You have a cup too."

This ti, even with Yan Sijue's composure, he couldn't help but reveal a surprised expression.

One must know, although Old Sir had a hobby of brewing tea, not just anyone could drink the tea he brewed. Mu Yiliang receiving such treatnt was no surprise to Yan Sijue, but for Old Sir to offer him a cup? This was the first ti in many years he received such an honor!

"Thank you, Grandfather." Yan Sijue quickly collected his surprised look and accepted the teacup with both hands.

"Yiliang is a good girl. Don't think I let you marry her just because your brothers refused." The Old Sir snorted, "No matter what, you are a descendant of the Yan Family. I won't deny you opportunities. This alliance with the Mu Family is the first opportunity I am giving you."
