In the Yan Family, competition and mutual exclusion are mainstream.

On the contrary, soone like Yan Sijue, who is destined not to inherit much of the family business, is not feared.

Even though they despise Yan Sijue, no one sees him as a competitor.

Mu Yiliang can see this; she believes Yan Sijue is also very aware, but Mu Yiliang believes he is not really indifferent to the status quo as he appears on the surface.

At this mont, soone descended from the spiral staircase.

A rather young, pretty woman in a qipao.

Her face carried a lazy smile, strikingly beautiful. The qipao accentuated her identity perfectly—sexy, alluring, enchanting—a kind of vulgar beauty to the extre, yet hard to look away from. Every part of her body and every action seed to tease a man's nerves.

Mu Yiliang keenly noticed that when this woman ca down, Yan Yaoting's greedy gaze imdiately fell on her.

"Is Sijue here?" The woman's voice was slightly husky, extrely seductive. She stepped down the stairs, seemingly unaware of Yan Yaoting's greedy gaze, instead smilingly looking at Yan Sijue.

Who is she? These days, it's rare to see won who love wearing qipaos.

"This is Su Yan." Yan Sijue started to introduce her to Mu Yiliang, "Grandfather's woman."

So it turns out to be Old Sir Yan's mistress! Mu Yiliang understood. Given Old Sir Yan's age, it's not surprising he likes to see his woman in a qipao.

"Hello." Mu Yiliang quickly stood up to greet her. Although this woman is just Old Sir Yan's mistress, since she belongs to the Old Man, her rank automatically surpasses others.

"What an interesting little girl." Su Yan chuckled, glanced at Mu Yiliang up and down, but very tactfully refrained from comnting on her. She then turned her gaze to Yan Sijue, "Sijue, make sure to treat her well, okay."

"Of course." Yan Sijue said lightly, avoiding Su Yan's direct gaze.

A hint of annoyance flashed across Su Yan's face, then she said, "The Old Man wants you and your bride to go up."

"What?" Yan Yaohun spoke first, frowning, "Grandfather wants to see them alone?"

"That's right." Su Yan smiled, holding onto the stair's railing, still looking at Yan Sijue with that explicit gaze.

"Looks like grandfather values the Mu Family highly." Yan Yaohun snorted, giving Yan Sijue a sarcastic look.

Before Yan Sijue got married, he never received such a personal reception from the Old Man. This was obviously because of Mu Yiliang.

Yan Sijue remained unmoved, instead looked at Mu Yiliang: "Co with ."

Mu Yiliang followed him as he stood up, accompanying him upstairs, and as they passed Su Yan, Mu Yiliang, with her head lowered, was surprised to see Su Yan discreetly slide her hand over Yan Sijue's waist.

Could it be... there's sothing between Yan Sijue and this woman? No wonder Su Yan kept staring at Yan Sijue just now!

Unexpectedly, he's quite bold, daring to sneak around the Old Man's side... Mu Yiliang couldn't help but admire him.

But Yan Sijue's expression remained unchanged, giving no response to Su Yan, and proceeded upstairs.

This impeccable composure left Mu Yiliang in awe.

Old Sir Yan's study took up a large section of the second floor, decorated in a simple yet understated manner, but exuding luxury everywhere.

Only then did Mu Yiliang have a clear understanding of the Yan Family's profound heritage.

They went through another door before seeing Old Sir Yan; he was wearing a house robe, making tea deftly.

"Grandfather." Yan Sijue called out.

Old Sir Yan's sharp gaze imdiately fell on him.
